So here's the cold hard truth: Your kids don't need you as much as you think. Gasp, we said it! Many of us have made our lives all about the kids at the expense of our own happiness. But eventually it catches up to you - kids grow up, marriages change and the only constant is YOU. You are as important as anyone in your family. Stop being a martyr; no one cares!
