You're listening to KFI AM six forty wake Up Call with Me Amy King on demand on the iHeartRadio app KFI and KOST HD two Los Angeles, Orange County. It's time for your morning wake up call. Here's Amy King. It is five o'clock. This is your wake up call for Tuesday, January sixteenth, twenty twenty four. I'm Amy King. Back to work. Well, for those of you who didn't have to work yesterday, Martin Luther King Days. This great, great holiday, but it seems like a lot of people
don't have it off, even though it is a federal holiday. But that's okay, celebrating a great man. I was watching the MLK Junior Parade. It's the biggest one in the country. Kind of cool and Princess Tiana was there, Mickey and Minnie were there, so you know, that made me happy. So last night was a I was in a quandary, as many of you probably were too. What to watch. We had the Emmys, the NFL playoffs, and the Caucuses. What won out For me? It
was really between the Emmys and the Caucuses. I didn't watch football last night, but the Bills beat the Steelers thirty one seventeen, Tampa Bay beat the Eagles thirty two nine. Let's head to the playoffs. Actually we're in the playoffs, but let's continue down that road. And super Bowl is late this year. Did you notice that it's like February eleventh or something like that. Why is it so late? It used to be on my birthday weekend,
which is the last weekend in January, but not anymore. Here's what's ahead on wake up call. Speaking of the caucases, Donald Trump escored a commanding win in the Iowa caucuses. The results have the former president getting just over fifty percent of the votes. Ron DeSantis was a distant second, followed by Nikki Haley. Vivek Ramaswami dropped out of the presidential race following his fourth place
finish. Trump won ninety eight of Iowa's ninety nine counties. A vacant kmart in Riverside could become a large apartment complex of city if the city council approves the project. Some neighbors say they're worried about increased traffic and whether the new tenant's children would put a strain on the school district if approved. A three hundred and forty seven unit complex could start taking tenants by twenty twenty seven.
And speaking of the other thing that you know was what to watch last night, Elton John is now an egot. He's got an Emmy, a Grammy, an oscar An, a Tony after he was awarded the Emmy last night for his Apple TV special, which was his farewell concert at Dodgers Stadium. Oh what a show it was. He's the nineteenth performer to win all four awards and at seventy sixties, the oldest to complete the feat. So it's handle on the news. Ron DeSantis is claiming the networks engaged in election interference
and last night's Iowa caucuses. We'll tell you why. Let's get started with some of the stories coming out of the KFI twenty four hour news room. Well, I want to thank everybody former President Trump has won the Iowa caucuses. He thanked Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, who came in second last night, and Nikki Hayley, who was third. Trump says he thinks they both did
very well. I also want to congratulate the Veake because he did a hell of a job and after that fourth place finish, as we mentioned, the Vike Ramaswami ended his campaign and endorsed Trump. The results are the first in what will be a month's long effort by Trump to secure the Republican nomination for president. The vaked Ramaswamy, as I mentioned, dropped out after falling short last night. As of this moment, we are going to suspend this presidential
campaign. Ramaswami got eight percent of the vote among caucus goers. The Santas and Haley each got roughly twenty percent. Former President Trump got more than fifty percent. The LAPD says a homeless guy wanted for the fatal shooting of a dog has been arresting. Investigators say they found David Someone just after midnight Monday in downtown LA. He was booked on fifty thousand dollars bail. Please say.
On January second, someone and the dog's owner got into an argument, and sometime during that exchange, someone grabbed a pillow, put it on the dog, and pushed a gun into it, and then he said it's either you or the dog. Detectives say someone then shot two rounds into the pillow, killing the four month old puppy. It's not known how someone got the firearm. Steve Gregory k if I News. USC quarterback Caleb Williams has decided
to leave college behind and enter the NFL Draft. The twenty twenty two Heisman Trophy winner, who threw for more than ten thousand yards in his three college seasons, is expected to go number one in the draft. The Chicago Bears have the number one pick. Let's now say good morning to ABC's Tom Rivers. Tom, we just talked yesterday about the US hitting hooty targets and then got word that the rebels hit a US owned ship, the Gibraltar Eagle.
Yeah, exactly. That's the latest one. A bolt carrier that was overnight and it hit the port side above the waterline. Minor damage. The crew is safe. It's carrying on with its journey, carrying describe it shipment of steel products. I don't know exactly what that is, but steel products. Now, in the past couple of hours, we had another vessel. This one is a Greek flagged vessel, the Zographia. It is a dry bult carrier and it was hit as well, same kind of storyline, minor damage,
no injuries. It is continuing on with its its journey. But we've seen more of this in the houtis basically ignoring any kinds of quote unquote warnings from from the US, and they're saying them to carry on with what they've done until the Israeli incursion in Gaza is over. So then are we expecting the US to respond now because they keep warning and they've they've launched some attacks. Well, well, they don't want any other country to escalate, but
the US may escalate. I guess that's kind of inferred in your question. And that's always a difficult one when you go into a conflict of this kind and you don't have you don't have a quote unquote end game scenario written in. Does it mean there's going to be a lot more military activity? Will it mean you boots on the ground, et cetera that's not been articulated by this administration and whatsoever. And certainly you know Britain had a small participatory role
end of last week. Parliamentarians are asking the same questions. If we're into this thing, you better tell us what direction we're going so we can tell our constituents what to expect down the road. And that we've heard that nothing of the sword from Washington, nothing of the sword in Congress. Nothing of the sword in parlad here in London. Okay, So you mentioned that the damage to both of the Greek ship and the US owned ship was minor,
So they were both hit by Houthi missiles. And I'm curious as to why the damage was minor, Like well, obviously because the the missile didn't have enough firepower, But is that because the Houthis don't have stronger missiles or and they're just like yes Anderston was looking at a study yesterday, of course IV it means supplied through to Orion, just like Saudi Arabia, which had been dropping missiles on the Hooties for nine years, were supplied by the US and
the UK. But if you look at a cost wise, they reckon. These are pretty pretty primitive missiles, you know, maybe costing up to ten thousand dollars a crack, and if they're shot down by say a US vessel a missile, they could cost hundreds of thousands of dollars to knock them down. So it's it's bargain basement prices. These these missiles that the Hoodies are firing, but very much more expensive ones by the taxpayer are being used by
the US predominantly to shoot them down. And you mentioned and I know that we talked about how the US has shot down some of these missiles. So are are the hoodies firing more and just these are a couple that are getting through or are they just doing isolated firings. Yeah, well they had they had a slew of them the day before the US led strike, if you had a last week, and now it's been more just the occasional missile here
there and everywhere. So maybe maybe they're they're they're using a different tactic, maybe their supplies maybe running. We don't know, but they're not going, if you will, with the shotgun approach. They're just doing the rifle approach, doing maybe one or two a day, and that's it, at least
that's the track record over the past four or five days. It feels like they're just poking the bear, doesn't It Like just we're going to fire off one here and one here just to say, ha, We're going to keep going even you know, I mean it just it doesn't feel like an organized assault, No exactly, But I mean that's what's required, you know, and you got if you want to tangle up world trade, you can be the Hootsies, who could be quashed in a day if all the firepower of
the US were leveled against it. But they're playing a game. And fifteen percent of the traffic the world trade goes through the Red Sea. We have liquefied gas tankers that are now stacking up off a cutter. Insurance companies are saying to not go through there. Uh, stay where you are. Guess what natural gas prices are going to be increasing in Europe in the short term.
So it is in fact having a pretty good effect, if you want to look at it that way, punching above their weight the Hooties and affecting the world global economy. And are US ships which are in the area. Are they actively protecting the ships that are traveling through the Red Sea? I think it's ketch as catch can depending on where they are and where activity may be. They're not they're not escorting one on one. They don't have the
resources to do that. But they're going to be in certain certain areas, certain corridors, and if something happens there they can they can steam and get close to the quote unquote potential action pretty hard and quick. Yeah, Well, it'll be interesting to watch this because it's just bizarre. Again. Like I said, it feels to me like they're just poking the bear, and it'll be interesting to see if the bear pokes back. Tom Rivers, thank
you so much for your time this morning. Thank you. All right, let's get back to some of the stories coming out of the KFI twenty four hour newsroom. A man has fallen out of an RV onto the fourteen freeway in the New Hall area. Dash Cam video from another vehicle shows the RV driver loses control yesterday morning and then crashes into the center divider. After that, the door of the RV opens and the guy falls out onto the freeway.
This driver says he rushed over to help. He was actually more conscious than I thought he was gonna be. Like, his biggest concern was how's my wife? So I was like, you're the one that just kind of flew out of the vehicle, and he was more concerned about her. Firefighters confirmed the man was conscious and breathing when they treated him. He is in critical condition. San Diego and SeaWorld are headed back to court because they were
unable to reach a settlement in a lawsuit over back rent. During the pandemic. The city had sued the theme park for twelve million dollars in back rent and fees. SeaWorld says it didn't make the least payments because the city shut them down in early twenty twenty and it couldn't make any money. They'll appear in court in April of next year. Federal officials in LA say thirty one thousand machine gun conversion devices have been taken off the streets in the last five
years. Simply possessing a conversion device can carry a sentence ab up to ten years in federal prison. US Attorney LA spokesman Kieren McAvoy says the devices, also known as switches, chips or auto seers, are considered by federal law to be machine guns, even if the person's caught with the device but no gun. These conversion devices can convert semi automatic pistols and rifles into fully automatic weapons in less than sixty seconds. One pull the trigger can release all the
ammunition in the magazine. Macavoy says the devices are being advertised as legal, but that ain't true in La. Corbin Carson kaf I News, the Prime Minister of Qatar has warned of the massive destruction inflicted by Israel's offensive on Gaza and criticize the Israeli Defense Minister's rejection of a ceasefire. He says Gaza isn't even there anymore. Urged for a two state solution, the fighting in Gaza
has been going on more than one hundred days. A woman in Israel has been killed and nearly twenty others have been hurt in what police have called one of the worst terror attacks since the war against Hamas began. ABC's Patrick Revel says two Palestinians stole cars yesterday and deliberately drove into pedestrians. We've seen a number of shootings in Jerusalem now. I think what this underlines is the growing fears of violence in the West Bank as we see tensions that really just continue
to boil over fury, really from over the war in Gaza. Reval says at least four people are in serious condition. The drivers, who are reportedly related, were arrested. Fresh off an Emmy win for Best Special for his Farewell concert at Dodgers Stadium, which was fabulous, Elton John is auctioning off another batch of personal items. The items will go up on the auction block
at Christie's in New York February ninth through the twenty first. The collection includes a pair of his platform boots, a grand piano, some art, Home to Corps, sunglasses, and more. Town and Country Magazine says the items are from a condo he owned in Atlanta. Elton. John held an auction in the late nineteen eighties that one raised over eight point two million dollars. Is he strapped for cash or something? Former President tump uh tump. Former
President Tump. I like that. I think we'll stick with it. Trump says now is a time for the country to come together. His comments came last night in Des Moines after he easily won the Iowa caucuses in the first big test of the Republican primary race. Second place finisher Ronda Santis finished thirty points back, followed by former South Carolina governor Nikki Hayley. The focus now shifts to next week's primary in New Hampshire. Work to widen an eroded stretch
of beach in San Clement he's been delayed for two months. The US Army Corps of Engineers has decided to wait until he can get better quality sand after beachgoers noticed the white sand near the San Clementi Pierre was being replaced with black rocks. Pope Francis says some people have jumped to ugly conclusions over his recent decision to allow blessings for same sex couples. Francis says the blessings do not equal approval of gay sex and aren't anything at all like the sacrament of marriage.
At six oh five. It's handled on the news. The focus is on the Republicans right now, but the Biden machines taken in huge amounts of money as it gears up for the twenty twenty four election. Let's say good morning to the host of How to Money on KFI. It's Joel lars Guard. Joel, we have a lot of streaming services out there. A lot
of people signed up for them over the weekend because of the NFC. Was that the NFC playoff, the wild card game, That's right, But I also was reading that about a quarter of US subscribers to the major streaming services have canceled at least three of them over the last three years. This was music to my ears because this is something I've been telling people to do,
like I don't know for years now. Just because we have. When you look at some other stats, most people don't even know how many services they're subscribed to, and they vastly underestimate how much money they're spending each and every month on streaming costs. Since so it just shows up on your credit card bill, and if you're not sitting there looking closely at it, you don't even see I fall into this trap. Yes, and you're not alone.
There's so many people where they just they they forget about it. It's understandable they're not pouring over their credit card bill like they should be, and so because of that, they're like they lose track. Oh wait, I do have paramount plus, don't I? And I am paying eight dollars a month for this or twelve dollars a month for that, and so those costs add
up. And so I've been telling people like these subscription audits are crucial because it's those recurring costs that each you, even if they don't feel like they're terribly significant. Streaming costs have gone up significantly over the past couple of years. So what might been a six dollars bill is probably now a thirteen dollars bill. Like that's just how it's been going in this space, and so
I'm heartened to see that more people are canceling. But then there's things like that wild Card game on Peacock. It's it's getting people to sign up for a free trial. Oh, they forget to cancel in time, and then oh, well, you know what, then they forget to cancel for four months after that. Those are the kind of things. We have to change our behavior. We've got to set calendar reminders to actually hit the cancel button so we actually unsubscribe. And the truth is, like less loyalty in general
to these streaming service providers is the way to go. If one of my favorite shows comes back on Hulu or something like that, yeah I'll sign up for a month, maybe i'll binge it. But for the most part, it's just it's done with it. I'm done with it, and I can always sign back up in the future and they don't penalize you or anything like that if you cancel and then come back. No, That's what's beautiful is
there are no contracts. It's not like cable used to be, those cable relationships where it's so you know, if you cancel, there's going to be some sort of penalty or you're locked into a one or two year contract or something like that. These streaming services, it's it's it's totally at will, and so you can sign up for a month and then you can immediately cancel even the day you signed up, and then have it for that month and then, guess what, You've already done the hard work of canceling, so
you don't have to remember to do it later. Oh that's good, because like, uh, I think Handmaid's Tale is on Hulu. That is the only show I watch on that network. Okay, so you got to watch The Bear? Can I tell you that? Oh? Is that on Hulu? Wait a second, I do watch the Bear? Okay, so now there's all right, that's one of my favorites. But I'm caught up on them. So here are the services. Watch your credit card bill for them.
Apple TV Plus got it, Discovery Plus don't have it, Disney Plus got it, Hulu got it, Max got it, Netflix got it, Paramount Plus got it, Peacock and Stars. Yeah, it's almost it's kind of crazy, like because early on in your personal finance talk fifteen years ago, it was all about cutting the cord right, and that was how you save money. And now the truth is some people will actually save money by going back to cable if they're signed up for the majority of those services.
It's pretty crazy to think about, yeah, because I mean just reading off this list with the ones that I have, So there's six, there's fifteen, there's twenty five. I mean that's like seventy dollars right there. Yeah. Yeah, it adds up real quick. And I think we're going to see more consolidation in the space this year, which I'm hoping is going to bring prices down a little bit and cause people to need to sign up for
fewer of these streaming services in general. So we might see like slightly higher prices for each service, but a whole lot more content under each of these service providers, just as we see some of that consolidation. So I think that's going to be a good trend. But it's it's something we'll I'll be keeping my eye on. Yeah, I'll be watching it. But I got to tell you, I love streaming. I love to be able to sit
down and watch stuff when I want to watch it. H I mean, it's clearly a winning model, right, I Mean, like that's what people want they want to be able to watch what they want to watch when they want to watch it, and like instead of sitting down at Thursday night at eight pm to watch your favorite show, that's just there for you when you want to watch it, which I think, Yeah, of course you can't
put that. You can't put that the genie back in the bottle. Yeah, okay, let's talk about another trend that you that you brought up in conversation called career cushioning. What is it? All right? So we're coming up with QT labels for all these different things that have just kind of been things that we've talked about, we just have never put the QT word to
it. And so for instance, like the cash envelope method became known recently as cash stuffing, and so I kind of like when there's a neat little term to go along with it because it helps it stick in people's mind. And this one is career cushioning. This is the new term, and basically all it is it's kind of setting yourself up for success if something were to
happen with your job. And I think this is something that we should all be doing on the RAG, like, especially if you're a w two employee because you never know kind of when contraction might happen in your industry at your specific employer, and so it's always a good idea not to be and not to have this cloud hanging over your head about what am I going to do next, or be fearful about getting laid off, but instead get prepared.
And so there's a couple of things that you can do that what really career cushioning is all about in my mind, and that is to one, the best thing you can do is to have cash savings, because if you're gonna if you lose your job, that's gonna be the most helpful thing, right is to have something like six months of an emergency fund built up so that you're not like stressed taking the next job, even though it pays forty thousand dollars a year, less that you have time to get your resume out there,
to contact your network, and to really try to find the next great job. So building up your emergency fund is like rule number one of career cushioning. And the next thing I just kind of mentioned it your network.
Your network is as some people would say, your net worth and who you know those contacts that you built up over the years, just staying in touch with those people like you put it on your calendar to every Monday or Tuesday morning, maybe send an nail out to at least one person who you know, not asking for anything, but just checking in, Hey, how are
things where you are? Those friendly relationships inside of where of your kind of industry are going to go a long way if for some reason you did lose your job. For some the job market is great right now. Right unemployment still pretty close to record lows, but we are starting to see some contraction. We are starting to see layoffs tick up just a little bit. And so this is again not a cause to be fearful, but it is a
cause to be prepared. It's my friend Jordan Harbinger says, dig the well before you're thirsty, And that's exactly what you're doing here when it comes to networking. You're you're maintaining those relationships so that the well is there for you if for some reason you might need it. I think I'm going to put that on my wall. Dig the well before you're thirsty. That's a good one. It's a smart move, right, It's a smart way to go.
And I think sometimes we're just kind of we're hoping that things stay the same where we are or and and and hope is like fine, but it's not great strategy if things do, if the economy does contract, or if where you work maybe they lose a big client or something like that, and you're out, even if you've been there for ten, twelve years or something like that. So that networking is crucial. It's not just about asking for
help from other people. It's about building those relationships and that mutual. That mutuality that comes from networking is so powerful, and it's called career cushioning. That's right. Joel Larsgard. You're so full of wisdom. And if you would like to hear more of Joel's wisdom, you can listen to How to Money right here on KFI Sundays from noon to two. Thank you, Joel. Thanks Amy. I was waiting the whole show for it too. I thought they were going to open with it, and it was just, I don't know, made me sad. Yeah, I don't think that was a highlight of it. But wow, and Succession six wins and the Bear six wins well deserved on
both. I know, you know what, in Succession, I'm glad they won just because I hate them all so much, which again, and I always say, this means that actors did such a great job because I hated them. Former President Trump says now is the time for the country to come together. He made his comments last night in Des Moines after easily winning Iowa

We're just minutes away from Handel.
On the news this morning, Rond de Santis claims the networks engaged in election interference in last night's Iowa Caucus's Bill will be talking about that, but right now we are talking caucus with ABC's Stephen Portnoyd. Good morning, Stephen, Well, good morning to you. About thirty minutes after the caucuses started, the network started declearing Donald Trump the winner, which I guess is why DeSantis
is claiming are crying foul right now? Yeah, I mean, look, his complaint is that the announcements by the networks were made as members of the Republican Caucus were listening to speeches and no one had actually filled out scraps of paper, and so the votes hadn't actually been cast. Look, I don't think that the thirty point margin of victory for Donald Trump would have been affected if the networks had withheld that announcement, because it's all based on entrance poll
data. What you have to understand is as people are going in to the caucus site, outside of the door, there are a couple of poll takers at you know, a representative sample of precincts, and they hand voters questionnaires
and they ask for whom will you vote? What are your demographical you know, characteristics, what are your answers to these specific questions about issues like abortion and whether Joe Biden won the presidency, and a whole bunch of other things that we can use to explain the sort of the themes and the narratives of the night. That data is collected and then it's reported in and it's analyzed, so we have data, and it happens that that data bore out the
outcome. It is a time tested way of covering election nights, and you could have media ethicists and political analysts who can debate academically whether it was the right decision. Rohn de Santis is complaining, I don't think he was going to win the Iowa caucuses, but for the announcement of what our entrants polled data indicated, Yeah, I mean if it would have been like that's the complaint. Yeah, but if like it had been maybe three percent margin,
maybe he'd have an argument, but a thirty point market. If it had been a three percent margin in the entrance poll, the networks would not have made the announcement. It was such an overwhelming And then I want to underscore this and say it one more time so there's no confusion on this point. If there had not been such a decisive indication in the Entrance poll that Donald Trump was going to win, the networks would not have made that announcement.
Okay, were there any surprises Stephen from last night? The extent to which I was surprised was to see how wide and sweeping. Donald Trump's victory was he won among older voters, younger voters, rural voters, urban voters, suburban voters. He won among men, and he won among women. He won among college educated voters, which was a bit of a surprise, and non college educated voters, which has been his base. And so because it was so sweeping and so vast, he won ninety eight of Iowa's ninety nine
counties. In the only county he didn't win, he lost to us by a single vote, to Nicki Haley. So the idea that we focused as political reporters on who came in second, because frankly with we all find it interesting, it's irrelevant. Donald Trump won this contest by more than thirty points, a more historic and larger margin of victory than in any other prior competitive, modern Republican caucus. So when you are asking at those entrance polls,
Stephen, did you get an answer to why people are supporting Trump? Like, do they have a one number one reason? Well, we ask it's hard to read too much into this data, so we try to stick to what we have. What we have is we asked voters what motivated you in your vote tonight? What are the issues. We gave them four options, foreign policy, abortion, immigration, and the economy, and immigration and the
economy tied for the top answers. And among the people who said so, most of them voted for Trump. So you get a sense that people are primarily concerned about immigration and the economy, and on those issues, Donald Trump offers them the best answers when it comes to some of these other issues. Those who said that, roughly, I think it was about twelve percent in the Entrance poll who said that abortion was their top concern. That's fine.
For those people. They voted for Ronda Santis and that might explain his strong showing on the abortion question. They oppose abortion, they feel Ronda Santis is the best per to carry that message forward, and those voters voted for him. There were just not enough of them for those voters to say that foreign policy was most important. Well, the former UN Ambassador Nikki Haley won among
those voters. But again they represent a small fraction. The majority of voters who came out last night said that they were concerned about immigration in the economy and they voted for Trump. Okay, And did people come out or did the weather really keep people away? One hundred and ten thousand people took part in last night to Iowa CAUCUSUS. Now, that's a small percentage of the population of this state. It is a participatory process, but relative to past
Iowa caucus as it was significantly down. The high water mark for a Republican caucus was set eight years ago. In twenty sixteen. Donald Trump entered the national political scene, made his first appearance on a ballot, if you will, in the Iowa caucuses in twenty sixteen, and that year one hundred and eighty six thousand people came out again one hundred eighty six thousand in twenty sixteen, one hundred and ten thousand. Last night. You could see the impact
that these dangerously cold temperatures had or out. Yeah, and uh. And then the other the one that I thought was sort of a surprise was that the vig Ramaswami dropped out. I thought he'd hang around a lot. Well, just because he has money, he spent more time in Iowa than any other candidate. He's you know, I mean, and and he placed fourth with roughly I think seven or eight percent of the vote. He dropped out last night, acknowledging he doesn't have a path forward and he endorsed Donald Trump.
Hmm. Okay, so what's next New Hampshire from tonight? Okay? And is it just is it just the three left? Or isn't Asa Hutchinson still technically in the race, like he hasn't suspended. Asa Hutchinson is still in the race theoretically, I mean, in fact, he is still in the race. All Right, all right, thank you so much. There are there. I just pointed there are like two dozen candidates that will appear on the ballot, but when it comes to who's a real contender, you've
got the three Donald Trump, Ron de Sanitis, Nicky Haley. All right, there you go. Thank you for that clarification. Stephen Portnoy. Always a pleasure. Let's get back to some of the stories coming out of the KFI twenty four hour newsroom. It could become easier to charge auto burglars in California. Prosecutors currently have to prove cars were locked when thieves broke into them
to charge otto burglary. Senator Scott Wiener says under his bill, proving forcible entry alone would be enough to charge the crime in San Francisco, and I imagine elsewhere the prosecution, the DA is losing cases or having to drop cases. Pasadena Police Lieutenant Keith Gomes told KFI News yesterday that prosecutors often charge petty theft instead of auto burglary because of current requirements. Petty theft charges come with
lighter consequences. Blake Trolley KFI News, a volunteer at a cemetery in Carson, says it's disgusting that thieves would target headstones and grave markers while looking for metal to steal. I'm so choked up right now because to know that they came back to try to take this wonderful statue of Lincoln. Aisha Wood says Lincoln Memorial Park was likely vandalized Thursday night, about a week after a cemetery in Compton was desecrated. She says about one hundred name plaques were taken.
Families have been stopping by to place pieces of tape on their loved one's graves to replace the plaques. The vandals even defaced a memorial for African American soldiers killed in World War Two that was donated by boxer Joe Lewis in nineteen forty four. Thieves usually steel, copper and other medals to sell to recyclers. Succession has won six awards at the seventy fifth Primetime Emmy Awards at the Peacock Theater in LA. The show had twenty seven nominations going into last night's show.
ABC's Rhianon Allie says. Some of Succession's awards went to actors Kiaren Colkin and Sarah Snook, and also won Best Drama Series.
