The shakeup at the AI company continues. We'll give you the latest. Let's get started with some of the stories coming out of the KFI twenty four hour newsroom. Border patrol agents say they have seized a large amount of fentanyl pills during a traffic stop near to Mecula. The agent say they pulled over a gray Sadan and called in

a drug canine. The dog alerted agents to sixty two bundles of blue pills stuffed inside door panels and seats. In total, the pills have a street value of three million, six hundred and ninety two thousand dollars. The stop last Thursday happened along the fifteen Freeway, and agents say the bundles weighed eighty one point four pounds. So far this fiscal year, agents in San Diego

say they've seized more than twelve hundred eighty five pounds of fentanyl. The twenty four year old driver and the drugs were handed over to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department. Steve Gregory king off I News. Wait there's more. The Border Patrol has confiscated three hundred and fifty four pounds of methamphetamine from a pickup truck crossing the US Mexico border into New Mexico. A drug sniffing dog alerted to the bed of the pickup truck. Saturday. Officials found the meth in one

hundred and sixty one foil wrapped bundles under the dodge ram. A woman driving was taken into custody. La Mayor Bass's Inside Safe program has helped clear a homeless camp in Canoga Park by putting people in motels. Councilman Bob Blumenfield, who represents the area, says it was important to get people off the streets

before winter. Bass says more than eighteen hundred people have been moved into motels since the operation started in twenty twenty one, Susan Sarandon has been dropped by her talent agency UTA over comments she made at a pro Palestinian rally in New York. She was quoted out a rally saying there are a lot of people afraid of being Jewish at this time and are getting a taste of what it feels like to be a Muslim in this country. ABC's Lionel Noisy says.

Actress Melissa Barrera has been dropped from the Scream seven movie for posting she too comes from a colonized country and Palestine will be free. Last month, a talent agent resigned from CIA's internal board over comments made regarding Israel. Sure, oh yes you can. The Rolling Stones are headed out on tour in twenty twenty four with their Hackney Diamonds Tour. The sixteen City Tour kicks off April twenty eighth in Houston. The Stones recently released their first album Women eighteen Years,

and the tour makes a stop at Sofi Stadium July tenth. It'll wrap up a week later at Lei Stadium in Santa Clara. Pre sale tickets go on sale a week from today. All of the tickets go on sale Friday December. First, let's say good morning now to ABC's Jordana Miller in Jerusalem. Jordana, in about nineteen hours, a ceasefire is said to take effect between Israel and Hamas. What's it going to look like. Well, we're not exactly sure the time when the ceasefire will take place. It could be

even earlier. At seven am local time, we're hearing at that time a ceasefire will begin. Both Israel and Hamas will hold their fire and we will see the first batch of fifty Israeli women and children. On the first group of those, it has to be at least ten per the agreement released, the Red Crescent will accompany them to the rof of border crossing, where on the other side they will be met by Israeli Army officials. They'll get a

first medical check and then they'll be taken to Israeli hospitals. At the same time, on that first day tomorrow, we will see trucks of aid, a huge boost, up to three hundred trucks come in. That will include fuel which is desperately needed in the Gaza strip, and those supplies will reach not to southern Gaza, but northern Gaza because until now they aid has only

been in the southern area. And then on the Israeli side, not only would those hostages be taken care of, but Israel will release fifty Palestinian women and children that have been convicted on security offenses, everything from throwing matov cocktails or rocks up to the those who have been not convicted of murder but attempted murder are on this list to be released, and they will be released into

the West Bank and some here in East Jerusalem. So that's how we will see this play out over four days, where in the end fifty Israeli women and children will be released and one hundred and fifty Palestinian women and miners of the Israeli thirty children, eight mothers, and then another mix of women and some injured women. Well understand, Okay, so they have an idea of who is being released now. Israel knows who's on that list of fifty.

They got that list from Hamas and they will be notifying the families each night before their release the next morning, and not before that, and publicly we won't know either. Sources close to ABC News have told us that at least one American is on that list, and it is the little girl, Abigail Eli Don who's three years old. She is on the list. We don't know if it's the first or second, or third or fourth day that she'll be released, but she's going to turn four on Friday. God willing she'll

get out before then. Three years old being held hostage by Hamas. That is just I mean, just hearing that still shakes me, you know, every time you hear something like that. Okay, I have a couple questions for you. So the trucks are coming in about three hundred and you're saying that fuel is going to come in, and one of the big concerns that we've talked about, Jordana is that the fuel won't get to the people who need it, but will be used by Hamas. Are there any safety features

in there or is it just here's the fuel. Do with it. What you're going to do? Well, apparently Israel, you know, is going to be able to to some you know, to monitor where that fuel goes because it will be checking in with the UN so, you know, God willing it's it will not get into the hands of Hamath, but it will go to the sewage system, the desalinization, the water plant, the water plants that are producing pottable water. It will go to hospitals, it will

go to bakeries. It is specified in the agreement certain places it can go and so those will be monitored. Okay. And then the other big concern is that that Israel has said is that if they stop the fight, that it gives Hamas time to regroup. So are there any is there any way they can prevent that? Again, it just it's a great deal to get the hostages out. It's not a great thing to let hamosery group. Right, Listen, There's there are risks that Israel taking in order to get these

susages out. One of them is that Homas is going to be able to come up above ground, its leaders that have been hiding and regroup, you know, and try to prepare itself for the next stage of the war. It is Will's made clear the seafire is not the end of the story. It's not going to turn into a permanent seafire. Is it's going to go south. So that is one of the concerns. Also Israel, you know, its forces will be in more danger stopping instead of being on the move.

So that is another concern. But you know, the Israeli army feels that, you know, it has to after failing the country so spectacularly on October seventh, and innocent civilians, I mean children. There's Abigail who's three, there are other three and four year olds, and it has to be

said, there's also a ten month old baby that's in captivity. So after all of that, Israel feels that it is it's bound to morally, morally take a risk and get these get these hostages out, even though it's imperfect, and there will still be one hundred and fifty as early hostages left in Gaza. Okay, all right, well, Jordana will be watching and as you said, it could be as early as seven am tomorrow, which would be eleven pm tonight our time, so we will the whole world's watch here.

All right, Thank you, Jordana, be safe. We'll talk to you again soon, thank you. Yes, all right, let's get back to some of the stories coming out of the KFI twenty four hour news room. Homeowners in Testin have criticized the city's response to a fire at a World War Two era blimp hanger that spewed asbestos into nearby communities. Everyone literally involved

in this knew that this hangar had asbestos and lag. Homeowner Jeff Lawrence says, fortunately he decided not to send his daughter to school the day after the fire, but other parents are now worried about cancer. The feedback that we got the first forty eight hours was everything safe, it's all good, there's no concern, and that really wasn't the case. Custom Mayor Austin Lombard says,

the city's doing its best in an unprecedented situation. This thing burned for twelve thirteen days, and that was always the primary concern, getting the fire out then moving on to clean up. In Tustin, Corbin Carson KFI News. Three people in Alaska have been killed in a landslide that hit homes and covered a highway. Austin McDaniel with the Alaska Department of Public Safety says nearly

thirty people have been displaced since Monday. There are three structures directly in the path of this landslide, two houses on the mountain side of the highway and one house on the water side of the highway. McDaniel says an emergency response team with the Alaska Division of Geological and Geophysical Surveys has been called to help assess the damage. He says search and rescue teams are looking for those still missing. The governor has declared a state of emergency. Thanksgiving is the worst

day of the year for home cooking fires. Susan McKelvey with the National Fire Protection Association says people should never leave the kitchen while cooking, should keep flammable things out of the cooking area, and also avoid turkey friars. They just present too high a fire risk to be used safely. If you want to have a fry turkey, go to a grocery store, go to a restaurant, order from somewhere where they can do it safely. Mi kelvey says it's

easy to become distracted when cooking several dishes all at once. That's one of the fun challenges of it, and also entertaining guests at the same time. She says there are more than three times as many home cooking fires on Thanksgiving, which is a two hundred ninety seven percent increase over the daily average. Who would a thunk Holidays and families don't mix cono you spending Thanksgiving with family very much, so both sides, my wife's family and my family, my

mom and dad. Oh, you're a two dinner family, two dinner family, and hopefully bring home leftovers to have a third dinner at night. Lovely, and what about you, Nick Poliochini. I will be headed out to Hemmett for Brian's family, and then I will probably do Friday or Saturday some time with my parents and my sister and her family in San Clebente. So I'm a two dinner family as well. And I will probably be doing the same thing as Kono, trying to take as many leftovers as I can with

And you guys are both going to spend time with family. I'm going to spend time with family too, going to my brothers for Thanksgiving and then up to my best friend's house. She's like family. But there's a study out this is eighty five percent of people admitted to lying or coming up with an excuse to get out of a family holiday event. They just don't want to spend the holidays with their families. Okay, and here's the other thing.

Christmas Eve. Christmas Eve, which we're not there yet, but we still have Thanksgiving to get by. But Christmas Eve is favored over Christmas Day as an actual holiday, and for Thanksgiving, mid afternoon is the preferred time for a Thanksgiving meal. We eat at dinnertime. We're not an early afternoon. And the favorite relative to visit over the holidays and he guesses Grandma, Nope, uncle or an ants it's uncles. Ah, that's it. If I

could, I would visit my favorite aunt Ca. She's in San Diego High Aunt k Hey. The thirteenth Annuel Kfi Postathon is here. Chef Bruno's charity, Katerina's Club. It's pastathon dot com. Join us, won't you? Before day? Ceasefire will begin at midnight tonight our time to allow for the release of fifty Israeli and international hostages. The deal will also free one hundred and fifty Palestinians held by Israel. The ceasefire could be extended by one day for each ten additional hostages released by Hamas. The ten Freeway underpass near downtown LA, where a massive fire broke out, closing the freeway for more than a week, failed

an inspection months earlier. Combustible liquids and piles of pallettes were stored under the freeway in an area leased out by Caltrans. CHP officers going to be out in full force looking for drivers under the influence drowsy, speeding, or not wearing seatbelts during its maximum enforcement period starts at six tonight. Last year, forty people were killed on the roads during the Thanksgiving holiday weekend and one thousand DUI arsts were made at six oh five. It's handled on the news.

Prosecutors say da George Gascone may have tipped the scales of justice to hurt Alex V in a way of his chances of being re elected. Sheriff will tell you how. Right now, let's say good morning to the host of Rich on Tech here on KFI. It's KTLA's tech reporter Rich Demiro. Good morning, Rich, Hey, good morning to you Amy. Real quick update. I know we're going to be talking about chat, the chat, GPT and open Ai, but lots of does at Open Ai looks like the CEO is

back. I know what is up with this company? Craziest thing I've ever heard of. It is absolutely crazy and quite honestly, I mean look, open Ai, Chat GBT is still very valuable tools, and I think it's very important that Sam Altman is there because this is his baby and so he needs to continue with this company. So I think it's good for users. I think it's good for all the companies that have built so many tools on top of open ais technology. But it has been a roller coaster ride.

But yes, Sam Altman apparently is back as CEO. Some of the board has changed, some of the people that were anti Sam, but the employees, I guess throughout it all remained on his side. And so clearly this guy is quite the visionary and I think it's important that this startup that has really transformed technology in the past year continues to have him. Yep. And one of the things, of course that he created, the big thing is is chat GPT, and now there's a new free feature for us that makes

it even easier to use. Yeah, this is just really fun and you should try it out if you haven't downloaded the official chat GPT app, which, by the way, there are some imposters. Make sure you get the original from open AI. It's called chat GPT for iPhone and Android. It's earned a spot on my home screen, that's for sure. But I actually am a subscriber. I pay twenty bucks a month to use chat GBT.

You get some really cool, new, cutting edge features over the free version, but voice was one of those features that you had to pay for, and so you can talk back and forth with AI and it sounds eerily real. But now this is available for all users, even free users. So I would recommend downloading the app, have some fun with it over the weekend and talk to AI and see just how scared you are for our future. I still haven't done it. It freaks me out. I know I need

to. Maybe maybe I'm gonna like kidnap you for an hour or two and stay Rich showed me how to do it, so I'm not scared. Yeah, it's a little bit concerning because it just sounds like a person and there's a couple of different voices you can choose from, and the knowledge has gotten really good. I first when open Ai came out with Chat GBT, at first I kind of bashed them for the search data was so out of date.

But now it's actually relatively up to date. They've got it up to I think April of this year now, so it's relatively up to date. And if you're paying. It actually searches the web, so it's even more up to date. So anyway, Open AI Chat GBT really making strides and kind of setting the standard for AI in our tech world. Okay, now,

just in time for the holidays. I know this is actually an issue with me because I am an iPhone person and one of my best friends, Debbie, is not, and so when I send her cute little videos or she tries to send them to me, they don't. You can't transform between the two services very well. But they're fixing that. Yes, they're finally fixing this. Apple is adopting what's called URCS. This is a standard for

messaging worldwide. What does that mean. It means that next year sometime we don't know exactly when, when people are texting between iPhone and Android, it will work like I message. Now it's not going to be I message. It's a standard that is not proprietary I messages. But all it means for the end user is that, yes, their bubbles may still be green if you're texting with an Android person, but your videos will be full resolution.

Your pictures will be full resolution, No more of those postage stamp sized videos. When someone tries to share you something or vice versa. So it'll just get a lot easier to share photos and videos next year over text. Okay, that's great, thankfully. Yeah yeah, Okay, one last thing before we go, because I know we're already running late again. Like I say every week, I never have enough time to talk with you. But we've

got Black Friday just around the corner. And Black Friday has already started for several businesses and with Amazon and Walmart and Target, and everybody's already jumped on the bandwagon. But if you're looking for specific things and you want to check prices, where are some good sites to look for good deals? Good question,

good question. So yes, the sales have started. My number one tip, always, always, always is to add your stuff to the Amazon cart and wait and wait for this little banner that says either black deal or a percentage off or lowest price in thirty days. And I'm telling you the deals are there. They really are very good this year. So that's my number one deal, our number one tip. Some things you can look at. Number one honey is a great extension. It's PayPal Honey. It puts

the coupon codes in, it checks prices. If you're looking for a standalone website for the coupon codes, retail me not. They've been around since two thousand and six. They're very good. Racketin is a website for cash back. I know it's a weird name, but it used to be called ebates and you can get up to ten percent maybe twelve percent back on purchases. And then for the websites you mentioned, I like slick Deals, I like deal News. I think those are two of the best. And then finally,

Amy one more tip. If you're on Google, just search the word shop deals. And this is a new feature on Google that searches the web for the biggest price discounts. Again, just literally search shop deals. So I know what everybody's going to do when they're in their food comas after Thanksgiving, going to be tic tic tic tic checking deals. Of course, all right, what you do? Thank you so much. Rich. This is KTLA tech reporter Rich Demiro, host of rich on Tech right here on CAFI.

You can hear him every Saturday from eleven to two and you can also follow him on Instagram at rich on Tech. His website is rich on Tech dot tv. Thanks for all the great information rich, Happy Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving. Here's what we're following in the KFI twenty four hour newsroom. A four day ceasefire will begin at midnight ten our tonight our time to allow for the release of fifty Israeli and international hostages, many of them children. The deal

will also be freeing one hundred and fifty Palestinians held by Israel. The ceasefire could be extended by one day for each ten additional hostages released. The ten Freeway under pass near downtown LA, where that massive fire broke out, closing the freeway for more than a week, failed an inspection months earlier. Combustible liquids and positive palettes were stored under the freeway in an area leased out by

cal Trends. There's going to be out in full force looking for drivers under the influence drowsy, speeding and not wearing seatbelts during its maximum enforcement period. That got underway at six o'clock tonight at six oh five. It's handled on the news. Next time you go to the doctor, you may be getting your treatment, your prescription, and your gunlock. We'll tell you about that

at five point fifty. So many things to choose from for Thanksgiving dinner, and if you're a pet owner like I am, you may be tempted to share with your pet. Well, we're going to talk about what is okay to share and what is not okay to share with your pups. I was going to do a segment of Amy's on It, but we actually have Nathan Jason Nathan jasonson. We actually have Jason Nathanson, ABC's entertainment guru on the

line with us right now. So I'm just going to very quickly do an abbreviated version of Amy's on It. You're ready for it, Jason, Sure, Okay, here we go, Amy's Audience, AMI's on Itami's on It? Okay? So well, as you know, I go and I search out new things and old things that are on streaming because there's so much out there. You just like, how do you know what to watch? So

I go and I peruse and I get recommendations from friends and stuff. So I was looking for Hunger Games because the new Hunger Games is coming out, so I wanted to watch the old Hunger Games before I see the new one, which is actually a prequel that Jason and I have talked about. And what I found was Jennifer Lawrence in a movie called No Hard Feelings came out this year. Yeah, and as I said, this is going to be an abbreviate abbreviated version. It sucked. It was so bad. I just

was shocked that she was in this movie. She's an Academy Award winning actress, and she's good in the movie because she's a good actress. Yes, but she plays this girl or this woman who's about to lose her home that was left to her by her mom, and so she's got to figure some stuff out, make some money, get a car, that kind of stuff. And she gets hired by the parents of this kid who's like a social recluse. He's not particularly attractive, not particularly engaging, and she constantly hits

on him because she's supposed to bring him out of his shell. And it's they call it a raunch comedy. It is. It's uncomfortable, it's not funny. Again, she does a good job, but it overall, it just it was bad. There's n I agree with you. Okay, great now, let's hopefully move on to something good. We don't usually get to talk to you until the weekend, but the holidays are coming and people maybe in food comas and want to go to a theater or sit on the couch.

So we're going to give you a preview of what you can watch. Yeah, all the new movies are out today, so you know, this is the weekend starts officially the holiday weekend and usually for the past few years there have been a big Disney movie, whether it was Frozen two or Encanto or Mowana came out during this period. I think maybe it did. But this is the time for a big Disney movie. And this is the hundredth

anniversary of Disney. So knowing that a couple of years ago, they sat down and said, Okay, what can we do to kind of honor when that one hundred year anniversary movie comes out, to honor the legacy of Disney and kind of incorporate all that stuff, and wish is what they came up

with. And so this is the new animated musical. It stars Ariana Debos as the voice of Asha, who she is a I don't know exactly how old she is, she's maybe a teen in living in the magical Kingdom of Rosas, where there is a king called King Magnifico and he is protected all the land right. He has made this, He's made this a paradise for people to live. And the only thing that he requires is he gets their

wish. Right. Whatever people's wish is for their life or whatever he gets that, he stores them, he keeps them safe, and every once in a while he grants somebody their wish. So the whole town is like excited, you know, is my wish going to be the one granted? And it's based on the Disney kind of DNA of wishing, wishing upon a star, all those kinds of things, and in the film, you have if you're a Disney fan, this is you know, gonna be like Catinet for

you because it was we saw it yesterday. Yeah, I mean, there's just you know, there's so many references to all kinds of Disney movies from over the hundred years. The director told me there are over one hundred references here to all these kinds of films, which which is a lot of fun and there's some really fun characters. Alan Tunic's Valentino the baby Goat is probably my favorite. Every kid and every is going to ask their parents for a

baby goat for the holidays. They get ready for that but look, you know I mentioned some of the other movies of you know, recently Moana and Canto movies that I walked out of those singing the songs. I don't know that. I mean, I do know. I have not walked out singing any of the songs from Wish No. And you know, like the opening number I think was really cool in the opening scene it was very traditional Disney esque, yes, but after that the songs that didn't make sense to me.

There's good stuff in here, and it's not that it's a bad movie by any stretch of the imagination. It's just for me. It's not going to go down as a classic. Yea. So we'll see at the it's going to top the box office this weekend. It's looking at fifty million dollars for the holiday. Again not great. Frozen two earned one hundred and twenty million or so in twenty nineteen, so this is way less than that.

And also Disney, which is my parent company, I should mention, you know, it's Disney used to be able to print money on anything, whether it was a Marvel movie or Star Wars or whatever. This this hasn't been a great stretch for them. When it comes to the Marvel movies and the animated stuff, the Pixar stuff. So this is going to be another kind of luke warm one when we really needed a shot in the arm at the box office because it wasn't a great summer and it's looking like it's not going

to be a great winter as well. Yeah, on the upside to wish and I would would love to get your thoughts on that. I thought the animation in this one was spectacular. Yeah, it's really cool. I actually got to go to they had the the press junket for this at the Disney Animation Building in Burbank, Cool, which is an awesome place, but they really pulled out all the stops to give us little special treats and stuff like that. I got to do some voice work. You get, you get

to do Valentino. You Valentino. Who knew my voice was this low because he's a three week old goat. I agree, Valentino is great baby goat with a very low voice voice by Alentuda. But they also showed us the animation and what this is based on, and we got to see the old cells from like you know, uh, Beauty and the Beast or Cinderella or all these old things, and you could see the animation from the thirties and

forties and how they use that as inspiration for here. So in the magic here, when King Magnifico becomes more evil, his magic turns green, which is a callback to you know, Ursula from a Little Mermaid, and you know, and many of their Disney characters as well. So a lot of this is based in the history. And even the character of Star, which I didn't catch the first time. The directors had to tell me about. But his face even has kind of an ode to Mickey in kind of the

heart shape, in the roundness of it. You know, it's it all calls back to all the Disney stuff. There is Easter eggs everywhere the Lord, which we didn't you know what we went and saw yesterday. We didn't know that going in, so we weren't expecting it. And at one point I'm not going to tell you when because I don't want to reckon for you when you go see it, but you go, oh, is that from?

Yes, And then after that you go, oh, that's from and that that's from and that's so it's entertaining that way, And like I said, I thought the animation was spectacular, but yes, yeah, and it's it's that kind of hand drawn stuff, you know, it's beautiful. Less of the computer and more more of the hand drawn, original kind of stuff. Yeah, and look at that. And with that, we're out of time, so we can't we can't even talk about the new Paul Giamatti the

Holdovers that's coming out, and the new season of Heart Fargo. I'm going to give you like two word answers. It's sort of like the lightning round, right, and you haven't seen Napoleon yet, but what are you hearing about it? I mixed reviews. Joaquin Phoenix's performance is good. The epic nature of the Ridley Scott film is interesting, but maybe not the Oscar winner that people were expecting. Okay, and here's your trivia, or not your

trivia, but your tidbit for the day. You know how his hat with sideways? Yes, okay, So they're auctioning off that hat this weekend in Paris and apparently he turned its sideways so people would see him on the battlefield. Oh well, there you go, there you go. Jason Nathanson, have a wonderful Thanksgiving, so thank you so much. For coming on with

us early this week YouTube take care all right. Four day ceasefire is scheduled to begin at midnight tonight our time to allow for the release of fifty Israeli and international hostages. The deal will also free one hundred and fifty Palestinians held by Israel. The ceasefire could be extended by one day for each additional ten

hostages released by Hamas. The fired CEO of open Ai has his job back, the company is announced Sam Altman is coming back to the company he founded, and a new board is going to replace the one that fired him. The big move made after about ninety percent of open AI's employees threatened to quit when Altman was released. Lebron James scored his thirty nine thousandth point. He hit the milestone early in the first quarter of last night's Lakers Jazz game.

The Lakers won at one thirty one ninety nine. James is already the NBA's all time leading scorer. We're just minutes away from handle on the news this morning, Susan sarand And is looking for a new agent. Will tell you why she got dropped right now, Let's say good morning to the head of community at Trusted house Sitters and a pet sitter for the last fourteen years. Angela Laws Angela, good morning, Good morning, Amy, how are you

doing fabulous? We wanted to talk to you this day before Thanksgiving because we, like you probably do like to share over the holidays, and there's a lot of food on the table, but you shouldn't be sharing some of that food with your pets. So let's talk about what we could and could not

do or should and should not do that. Yeah. Absolutely, And just one thing to bear in mind too, is over the holiday season and the foods that we have in the home and the cooking, those smells that we take in that make how sort of mouths water and we want to eat an animal at dogs is ten thousand to one hundred thousand times more receptive than ours, So all of those smells. And yes, the holiday season is actually when most of the increase in the emergency rooms. So what are the things

we shouldn't be feeding? Obviously we've got turkey, and is turkey toxic? No, not the white meat, but if you think that any of the fat and any of the skin and the bones, those are the things they shouldn't have And of course, the other thing is don't overfeed animals because that's what causes many many problems. So it's all, you know, sort of in good small quantities. But if we're talking about the five toxic food toxic foods for animals, as I say, turkey with bones and fat, don't

ever ever give those onions, garlic and chives. They're also not good. No no, no, no no, And nuts like especially macadamia grapes and raisins, and of course alcohol. I think it goes without saying, or at least you hope it does. But yeah, I guess you're right. Okay, So you said white meat turkey is okay, and some people who don't have turkey have ham, But ham is not okay, no, because it's high in sodium and it has all nitrates and it's got additives in it.

So if you think natural and so, don't feed anything that is high in sodium because the other thing that it does is it increases their thirst and they'll drink more and if they drink too much water on top of lots of food, that can cause problems. I think one of the things to be aware of too is the guests that come into your home. It's not just pet parents that have to watch that their pet family members eat, it's the guests. So you know what, if you've got lots of guests coming around,

it might be wise to pull a little notice up. Please don't feed the animals, because you know they're driven by their smell and that all of these foods that are around. So and how do you turn down those beautiful little, big brown eyes when they're staring out at you from the floor below the table, going, can I just have a little of that? I know it's so so hard. And the other ones to watch the children that

come in. You know, if they're sitting around the table and they drop flood on the floor, they could have those brown eyes underneath the table looking up at them and when nobody's watching, Oh, let's just give them that because it's such fun to see them, you know, go for it. So I think it's just to be really really aware of what And the best thing too, is, you know, our pets don't know that we've got

Thanksgiving dinner. They just can smell it. So give them a treat of their own, Like get a calm and fill it with natural peanut butter and let them go off and look at that, you know, have that, or prepare you know, a treat for them. There's so many recipes online and while you're cooking for the humans, you know, just prepare something for

them, but everything in moderation. But watch them really really carefully, okay, And if they do accidentally eat something that they shouldn't, or maybe they do get a piece of like a turkey bone, which I know can be really bad because they splendor, what do you do? What do you watch for? And then you take them obviously to the vet. But what are you watching for? Absolutely? I mean, if they start to salivate extensively,

if they're panting. Panting is a sign that they could be in pain, if they start to if they're vomiting, or they've got some reaction in that way. If you're concerned about them at all, there is a poison hotline that you can call. But also, you know, the emergency room is the best if in doubt. If in doubt, call your veterinarian or call the emergency room, and sometimes they will put your mind at rest and

say no, they'll ask what you think they've eaten. But always, always, you know, don't put it off if you really are concerned about them, make sure that you get them to the veterinarian. Okay, great, So let's make sure that we have a happy Thanksgiving for both people and pets. Angela Law's head of community at Trusted House Sitters, and she knows there's
