morning, four days from Halloween. Are you ready? I got my candy, lots of it cost me thirteen percent more this year. Here's what's ahead on the wake up Call. Hundreds of police, FBI and other officials are continuing to search for a mass killer in Maine. The man's believed to have killed eighteen people at a bar and a bowling alley in Lewiston Wednesday night. We're gonna be talking with ABC's Derek Dennis at five point twenty. He's gonna
give us all the latest information on the search. He's there in Maine. Governor Newsom has visited the Great Wall as he continues his week long trip to China. He met with leaders of five Chinese provinces and the US ambassador to China to talk about climate change. A new agreement between China and California pledges to combat climate change through offshore wind, advanced energy storage technology, and zero emission vehicles. Sag after US says it has made some progress in negotiations with
the Hollywood Studios. The two sides met yesterday and are scheduled to continue talks today. The UN UN, the Union, and studio executives are still at odds on streaming residuals and the use of AI. At six oh five, it's handle on the news. Israel has gone into Gaza for a second day, backed by fighter jets and drones. Bill will have the latest for you on that. Let's get started with some of the stories coming out of the KFI twenty four hour newsroom. Police have searched a home in Bejoin, Maine,
looking for the man who killed eighteen people in two mass shootings. The man suspected in the shooting's Wednesday night in Lewiston reportedly left behind a suicide note addressed to his son. ABC's Brad Garrett says it does not include a motive for the shootings, but rather does include some rantings those were not further described to US, and some rather mundane information like bank account numbers. Garrett says the note is just one clue investigators are using to develop a bigger picture of
the shooter. US fighter jets have carried out airstrikes on two locations in eastern Syria linked to Iran's Revolutionary Guard. The Pentagon says that strikes early this morning we're in retaliation for drone and missile attacks against US bases and personnel in the region. Former Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense Mick Milroy says the strikes were a
message to Iran. With everything going on in Israel right now, the United States would like to let Auran know that if they attack our people in Syria or Iraq, that they're going to be hit hard. And I think that's what we did and it was the right message to send. The US says the strikes hit weapons and ammunition storage areas. A suspected teenage robber has been
shot by police in Alhambra Is. Injuries are not life threatening. Police officers responded early yesterday morning to reports of an armed robbery when they saw the teen running from the store. They say he ran into a backyard and pulled out a gun, which caused an officer to fire. Metro Ambassadors are here to stay. The Metro Board has approved keeping the Ambassadors on permanently. California Department of Food and Agriculture says officials are planning to drop the purple dyed fruit flies every week for six months in a large area surrounding Lamert Park. That's where two wildflies were found. Let's say good morning to ABC's Jordana Miller in Jerusalem. Jordana looks like Israel has been doing some sort of sneak attacks
under the cover of night. What's going on now, Well, what Ischael's conducting now are what they call a raids inside the Gaza strip maybe a mile inside with tanks and troops and hitting specific targets, staying in there for several hours and then returning to the Israeli side of the border. So these are
not this is not part of Israel's you know, ground incursion. They are targeted attacks according to the head of the ideas, okay, and it's just to go in and hopefully soften those positions where they think Hamas is fighting out. Exactly, it's essentially to weaken Hamas, to hit militant cells, to do reconnaissance, to hit infrastructure, and exactly to weaken hamasa's position. And what they what Israel says to kind of lay the groundwork for the next stage,
which you know they've laid out will be the ground invasion. But it is on hold for now, primarily because Israel wants to give more time for those reported intense negotiations that might which might we might see some of the release of some of those hostages. Remember now, the number is two hundred twenty nine according to Israel's latest estimate that includes dozens of four nationals, at least nine Americans, Israeli's you know, thirty children, dozens of women, and
at least eight seenior citizens, including a Holocaust survivor. Okay, and so far it's still the number of hostages that have been released is holding at four, right, correct, Okay, correct. We saw Hamas released the two elderly Israeli women and before that the duel Israeli American mother and her daughter. Okay, you were saying that that Israel has gone in and they're trying to
weaken the positions. Are there any signs that Hamas Bee may be running out of steam or are they still firing rockets at kind of the same pace that's been going on for days, Well, the last couple of days, we have seen them firing rockets at a less frequent and ten city and especially they have not been trying to hit Tel Aviv as often. So you know, within the last half an hour they did fire on Tel Aviv and they hit
an apartment building there. Three people are injured. But they are instead of hitting Tel Aviv three times a day, there's usually one one time day. It's you know, it's really military officials caution you know, anyone from thinking that this is the end of their rocket or you know Arsenal, it's believed they're really waiting and reserving, holding those rockets until Israel goes in on the
ground and then they will unleash more of them. There was one interesting development this week, which is that Kamas fired a rocket that hit as far north as Haifa and another one that hit as far south as a lot. So that shows, you know, a range of one hundred and seventy kilometers. Why is that so well, because that is the longest range we've seen Hamas fire yet from the strip, and it shows that they have some of those
longer range missiles. Okay, so there's been concern that they're, like you just said, there there may be holding off a little bit, saving that firepower for when Israel does launch its ground invasion. That's right, I mean there there's no indication that comeups. You know, is has exhausted. Okay there, okay with the missiles or rockets and Jordana. What is the situation in Goza? Now? I know that it's it's not good. Is there
any more aid getting in? Is there any power any what's happening at the hospitals. So there's no fuel getting in, and it has to be said, there's not enough aid getting in each day. It's somewhere between fifteen and twenty trucks of aid, which is, you know, far below what you know Gaza used to see, which was three hundred trucks a day, and that was in times of peace, not war. So, you know,
the international community is an Egypt, the UN, the US. They need to figure out a mechanism for inspecting the cargo faster and getting more aid in.
There's just you know, this is this is not sufficient. You know, there are people who you know are going could possibly die because the hospitals forget about the bombing rates that are dangerous and in the hospital they could die because the hospital has to cut back on it's on who gets operated and who doesn't, and who gets to use, you know, the dwindling resources that
the hospital has. Yeah, so and more and more we're hearing over here in the US, we're hearing, you know, lots of people coming out in support of Palaestinians. There's a town in northern California that said we support I think they even said they support Amas. But what is the feeling inside Israel of the frustration of like not being able to get the message out, hey, we're defending ourselves by well, I think Israelis are particularly disturbed by
this. It's one thing to support and champion the cause of the Palestinians that they you know, want their own state and they want you know there there, you know that there's land that's in dispute. Uh, that is one issue. But Israelis really can't wrap their heads around these large protests that are supporting Comas, a group, a terrorist group by you know, Israel and America's definition, and a group that does not put the Palestinian people first,
but puts their very extreme political and religious views first. And remember Hamas was founded in the eighties. It has always been an extremist element men in the Palestinian camp, a problem that both Israel and the Palestinian authority helped create, and it certainly does not represent Palestinians. Yeah, so, you know, there are many who do not understand, you know, after such a cool
and savage murder, that people could go out and actually support Hamas. You know, this is this is beyond the scope for a lot of Israelis. Yeah, it's got to be tough, okay, jor Dana Miller. Thank you so much for your time and your insight. We appreciate it. Stay safe and we'll talk to you very soon, Tuck soon. Thanks, take care. Let's get back to some of the stories coming out of the KFI
twenty four hour news room. Police in Southgate are looking for the person who they say tried to run over an officer with an suv at Legacy High School. The officer fired shots at the driver, which caused some chaos on campus shortly after Legacies football game last night. Everyone was like running through the hallway. They also I was shooting. They all got down. They are still staying from the windows, so they should. No women just like right there.
Everyone was crying over scare panicking. Students sheltered in place in the auditorium as police looked for the driver. The driver has not been arrested. The case against a woman from Almonte accused of killing her mother's been put on hold because of doubt that she is mentally competent to stand trial. The twenty five year old was charged Tuesday with one count of murder and assault with a deadly
weapon. Police found the mom stabbed to death in her home. Sunday, video showed officers pulling what looked like a head out of a trash can. Pfizer and BioNTech will be moving on to the next stage of a trial for a combined flu and COVID nineteen. A storm that moved through yesterday dropped almost four inches of fresh powder in the Tahoe reshp also put its first chain requirements in place during the storm last night on I eighty over the Donner Pass. Residents of Lewiston, Maine, and a couple other towns have been told to stay inside as a search for a mass killer
continues. Willie say the forty year old believed to have killed eighteen people on Wednesday night at a bar and a bowling alley is armed and dangerous. About nine hundred US troops have been deployed to the Middle East. US officials say it's not for the Israel Hamas War, but four other threats, including attacks on US bases in Iraq and Syria that have injured a couple dozen US soldiers. The Rangers host the Diamondbacks in Game one of the World Series tonight.
The Diamondbacks haven't been to the Series in more than twenty years. Texas has never won a World Series. Former President George W. Bush will be throwing out the ceremonial first pitch. Darn it, Dodgers, I wish you were there at six Ozho five. It's handle on the news that US has hit two facilities in eastern Syria used by Iran and what it says are self defense strikes. Right now, let's say good morning to ABC's Derek Dennis. Derek.
Authorities surrounded a house of the suspected mass killer in Maine last night, but turns out no one was home. Huh yeah, a bit of a false alarm, though it was very dramatic for about an hour or so as authority surrounded that house and neighboring Boded, Maine, about two towns over from
Lewiston, where Wednesday night's mass shootings happened. There were crisis negotiators on megaphones telling Robert Card to come out, he's under arrest and that his safety would be assured, but there was really no answer, and after some time, ABC News learned from sources, law enforcement sources, that he was not in that house, and so the search continues for him, and there's an extended sheltered place order for residents in a two county area in and around Lewiston,
Maine. Residents told to stay inside, lock their doors, and if they have any sightings of Robert Card to call nine one one immediately. And we heard yesterday that they were actually they were getting tips, yeah, tips from
the public leading them to various locations, including that house in Bowden. And they should also tell you a suicide note was found outside of home connected to Robert Card, and law enforcement sources say it was from the suspect, so they're tracking down that lead as well, or he's not saying much about it. They're working under the assumption and he is still alive, but armed and
dangerous and on the run. They know that he owns a boat and his car was found abandoned near where that boat was docked, and that boat is missing and so there's some belief that he has sailed away out into the Atlantic, and so the Coastguard has joined some three hundred and fifty law enforcements on land and on sea looking for this suspect Robert card. There was also some
talk that he may have crossed the border in Canada. That's certainly a possibility, and whenever there's a search this close to the northern border, Canadian officials, border officials, border patrol, they're all alerted to be on the lookout, and so that's one lead that they're investigating as well. But no side of them either there or in the Lewiston area, So there's really no telling where he could be. But the active searching continues in and around Lewiston as
well as in surrounding areas. Got to be scary for the people who are there, especially with that shelter in place, just sitting there waiting, because he is armed and dangerous, and he has had mental health issues and you know, you just don't. He makes them even more unpredictable, I would imagine. Yeah, And this area in Lewiston is pretty much deserted. I mean, there virtually no people on the streets. Traffic is at a minimal. If you go to a business, a shopping mall, a restaurant,
fast food, establishment, of pharmacy, all of it's closed. Their signs up telling people that they're closed until further notice. On local television. Instead of doing school closing reports, they're doing reports on what's open, because very little is open. So they're telling the public where they can go to get just basic necessities like food, groceries, gas, even gas stations are closed. And so it's really deserted here, and you can feel the fear of
people who are living here wondering what will happen next. Where is this suspect now? And I would imagine that the family has been contacted. Is the family of the suspect cooperating with police? They are, in fact, they have made recordings and are on standby to help negotiators try to coax Robert Card
out of where he could be hiding. Uh So they are cooperating. They're detailing his history of mental health issues, they're detailing his divorce, that he has a young child, and he has a boat that was that is missing. His car was found abandoned very very close to where that boat was docked, and and and so the Coastguard is involved searching for him on the water as well as authorities on land looking for him as well. So the family
very much cooperating. But still the bottom line is Robert card has still not been caught. Yeah, and do we know Derek has. Has he had any communication with anybody? None? None, at all. The only thing is a suicide note was found outside home connected to him. Authorities haven't given us a lot of detail about that, but they confirmed to ABC News that it is a suicide note from Robert Card uh and so that's part of the investigation. He could be dead, but he could still be a live somewhere
and so authorities are actively searching for well. Either way, I hope they find them soon. Derek Dennison in Maine, thank you so much for your time this morning. Appreciate it. Sure thing. Let's get back to some of the stories coming out of the KFI twenty four hour newsroom. About nine hundred US troops have been deployed to the Middle East. The Pentagon says they're
being sent to bolster US force protection capabilities. As they put it, Officials say the troops will not go to Israel, but are intended to support regional deterrence efforts. A nine to one to one dispatcher in Riverside County has been given a Hero's Award for locating a kidnapped woman with a mapping platform. her a text message you down now, I want of an emergency. She messaged back almost right away saying I've been in a naked in the back of a trunk. Women described the car and kidnapper. She had absolutely no idea where she was because she was originally I think in blythe and now she was in Mortal Valley. Us AS deputies responded last May, in about one minute, found the woman in the trunk and arrested the man. Corbin Carson kf
I News That's awesome. A man's been arrested in LA for allegedly trying to break into the home of Robert Kennedy Diddy Kennedy Junior twice in one day. ABC's Alex stones As. The man was first seen on security cameras Wednesday morning, barf K Junior and his wife, actors Cheryl Hines, were at home. The LAPD responded on a burglary call and cided and released the man under

Does that count? Do I have to give give him honor today? Yes? Give him extra tuna. Okay. I love tuxedo
cats. They're so cute, they are adorable. Do you just have one cat? Uh? Yeah? He actually adopted us last year. He was a feral cat in the neighborhood, a young one, really young, and just started coming around and stuck around for weeks on end, and then it turned into months, and then we took him to the vet and now he officially lives in my dining room. I love it. You know they say
that pets picked people, not the other way around. Oh yeah, he picked us for sure, because I think he saw, you know, like the word sucker on my fore. He's like, that's the guy. That's the guy who's gonna feed me every day. Okay, So this weekend on Home with Dean Sharp. You're going to be talking about how to make your rental feel more like a home. This is something near and dear to my
heart. Yes, and I knew it would be. You and I were talking earlier about it, and you know, and I have been remiss. I have to apologize. You know, it's we're going on seven years of doing the show. Amazingly enough, it seems like two months. I probably still broadcast, you know, my talent still feels like it's two months old. But the point is I've talked at times, at moments about rental situation, and you know, we get questions and we get email all the time
saying hey what about us? We read, but I have never committed an entire span of time to it. This weekend, I'm going to start to make up for it, both shows Saturday and Sunday for renters, because with the median price of a home in Los Angeles up around nine hundred thousand dollars, there's a lot of us renders. And you know what, it's growing in most communities, it's growing rent renting is growing, and so you know, we're right there with you. Okay, So let's talk about some ways
to make that rental more like a home. It's something that I strive to do because I know that it doesn't matter how long I'm living there, and I've been there for years, but it doesn't matter how long you're there. You want to come home and feel like it's home, but you also have to be careful because it doesn't belong to you exactly. And by the way, you've just basically revealed the most important secret of the whole thing, and
that is you know what, dot don't put off being at home. You know, home is where your heart is, Home is where you plant yourself. Why sacrifice precious days of your life saying nah, you know, no, nah, when the reality is you can be home wherever you are. But yeah, you got it. First of all, make sure you're not violating your lease agreement by putting holes in the wall and doing all kinds of
stuff like this. But there are some things now, So Number one, one of the things that can really transform a rental place is is windows, right, draperies, those kinds of things, window treatments, and a lot of people shy away from that. A lot of apartments and condos come with really crappy window tree. I mean know, they're the little vinyl mini blinds and and you know half of them don't work. Just take those out.
And the cool thing is there's a there's a product out there that has been out for a couple three years now called quick Hang no drill curtain rod brackets. And this is designs Quick Hang. It's the letter k W I K all right, quick Hang. They are no drill curtain rod brackets. They are designed specifically, these brackets to hold curtain rods without putting holes in your wall. They actually imprint themselves a little bit into the casing around the windows.
And for a lot of people, these are game changers because you're not putting holes in the wall. And yet now you can put up the shears and the and the drapes and the kind of treatments on the windows that really starts to make the place yours. Okay. And then I saw this tip that you're going to be talking in about and I never even thought about this, but swapping out like switch plates and cabinet knobs, Oh my gosh, yes, I mean think about it, right. These are non destructive changes,
anybody. You don't have to be an electrician to change out the switch plate on your you know, on your light switches in the room switches. You can just take those off. All you need is a flathead screwdriver. It's going to take you twenty seconds to take the switch plate off, and you know, ten seconds to put the new one on. And yet they are the kinds of things that really start to own a place. People come in, you know, and you come in every day, hit the switch
and you're like, yeah, this is my place. You know, just store the old ones. You can take these with you leave me. You know. The fact is, if you're there for more than two or three years, you're like, yeah, here, free gift with purchase. You can just keep my old switch plates. But the point is they don't hurt the house at all. And cabinets talk about frustration because we all have to
put up when we're renting with the cabinets that are there. It's not like you've got the option of refinishing them for anybody, right, But switching out the cabinet knobs, the door and drawer pulls, right, this is just a few dollars and it can make a radical change to the look and feel of a kitchen. Okay, And then here's another. Here's a little one that I've done. You're talking about little swapouts. The faucet my kitchen.
I put one of those. I don't know what it is, but I put the little head on it so it can go a stream or it can be a spray, right, right, Do you have one like some of the high end ones. I don't have a high end faucet, but but it makes it mine and it's better than the one that was there exactly. And the same can be true with your shower. I am a huge believer in go out and buy yourself the nicest shower. You'd go buy your dream shower head. Again, you don't have to be a plumber to put a
shower head in. All it takes is one little wrench and a little bit of thread tape. You can have that job done in two minutes. But put your own shower head in the shower, and you know, luxuriate the way you want to. Don't put up with the you know, the crappy little shower head that came with the place. Okay, I love that. And then we were talking about how you're not supposed to alter the structure of the of the apartment removable static cling wallpaper. I didn't even know this existed.
Oh oh my gosh. Yes. Now this is different, by the way than peel and stick wallpaper. That stuff is still out there. But if you leave peel and stick on long enough, you might be taking some paint off when you pull it off right, you might be might you might lose a little bit of your security deposit to a repaint. But there is a whole new category of wallpaper. It is very thick wallpaper, very stiff
wallpaper, and it is yeah, static cling wallpaper. It's the kind of wallpaper you could literally put up a section and if you find that it's just a little bit misaligned, you just pull it right off and shift it over a little bit and it stays. It stay, it doesn't bubble because it's so thick, and it can make a huge, huge difference. I'll tell
you this. It's not primarily a rental product. It is a product that we use for high end to state clients when we're looking to redo a room or decorate a room for a party or a special event or something temporarily as in like maybe a couple of months worth of change, and then you switch it to something else. So this wallpaper. If you put it up nicely,
it will last. It doesn't do really great on heavily textured walls, you could imagine, but if you get a nice smooth wall, it will not damage the paint and it'll stay up for as long as you want it. Okay, then two more quick ones because I want to look at the floor for a second. And I never even thought about this, but I have a little balcony and a lot of the apartments have little balconies and you
can put in interlocking deck tiles to make it look more homey. Yes, yes, you can get these at a place like Ikea and other places around. They actually have them in stock at Ikea. These are hardwood exterior grade tiles, and they come off inexpensively just because they're smaller cuts of hardwood. But it's a beautiful basket weave pattern and they interlock. They've got their own
base. If you are fortunate enough to have a balcony on your apartment or townhouse or condo, chan this, it probably has some kind of just unattractive beige fiberglass waterproofing product and that kind of slick, weird sandy stuff. Right, All these tiles do is sit on top of it. But if you interlock them from edge to edge, suddenly you've got a beautiful hardwood deck on your old apartment balcony. It's a game changer. And again, when you're
done, you just unsnap them, take them with you. I love that. And you've got so many more. I mean the list, you guys. The list is very long of cool little things that you can do to make your rental feel more like a home. And I'm sure you can apply it to your actual home too, if you own your home. So make sure to tune in to Home with Dean Sharp tomorrow from six to eight am and then Sunday from nine to noon, and we can follow you at Home
with Dean on Facebook, Book, Instagram and X awesome. Thank you so much. I gotta go. I'm going to write ya this afternoon. I think. Thank you, Dean. Thanks Amy. About nine hundred US troops have been deployed to the Middle East. US officials say it's not for the Israel Hamas war, but for other threats, including attacks on US bases in Iraq and Syria that have injured a couple dozen US soldiers. Metro's Board of

Metro leaders say having ambassadors on buses and trains has led to better public safety and more people riding public transit. We're just minutes away from Handle. On the news this morning, a close call in the skies over the South China Sea. Officials say a Chinese fighter jet and a USB fifty two came within about ten feet of each other. Right now, let's say good morning to ABC's entertainment guru,
Jason Nathansen. Jason things, they're getting scary the box office this weekend before Halloween. Yeah, it's a great time for it, right because it is. We're coming up on this spooky season. I saw people in costumes out and about yesterday, which reminded me, Hey, Halloween is here, and get ready for that over the next week or so. What are you dressing? Yes, I am dressing as I don't even have a good answer for that, you know, sorry, nor because I'm not not dressing as
anything a Halloween screw? Do you do? You have a costume? I do? What is it? Well? I wasn't gonna tell her, but okay, well I'm in Cheshure camp. Oh but don't Don't tell an, Don't tell you. Yeah. So the new movie out this weekend is Five Nights at Freddy's, which is a long awaited video game adaptation and has a huge cult following, which is actually propelling this film to a big box office
opening. It's looking at maybe around fifty million dollars this weekend, which is huge for a horror movie, be a movie that is based on you know, we haven't seen him before, it's on sequel or anything else, although it is based on property that is that does already exist video game. But that's a big weekend, especially for a movie that is absolutely terrible. I was going to ask you because a lot of times video game adaptations suck.
Yeah, we've kind of broken out of that though with Super Mario Brothers The Last of Us on HBO this year. This year has been pretty good for video game adaptations. So the two that just come to mind immediately, Yeah, okay, so but this isn't one of them. No, this is not one of them. This is maybe the worst movie I've seen so far
this year. It is. The basic premise is Josh Hutcherson, who you might remember from The Hunger Game. Yeah, yeah, I love him, he was, you know, big, big time, and then I think after that hasn't done a whole lot of note. But he leads the cast here playing a overnight security guard who is taking care of his sister. He's he's really kind of down in the dumps. This is a dead end job
that he's taking, but he just needs a job. He becomes this overnight security guard at a kind of chucky cheese like place and things kind of go crazy and scary from there, but not even really scary. First of all,
this is the movie itself is PG. Thirteen, So any horror movie where it's all it has to be rated are But this is a play to get the kids in there, and at least in the theater that I saw it, and there were a bunch of kids in there, so the you know, kids who have a connection to the video game, will you know they at least have something that they they've been waiting for this, Okay, right, But the script is just so terrible. The dialogue is laughable.
At points you're like, no, really do they They really just say that this could have been campy and funny and a cult hit, and instead it's just it came out as just a pilot track. So the good thing is that while yes it is in theaters, it is also opening this weekend on Peacocks streaming. Then why would I go to the theater? Well, because people like to go to the movie theater. Ah, I mean I'd stay home and watch it and say, yeah, and that's what's you know,
that's some people their thought as well. But if you really want to, you know, especially for a horror movie, horror movies you're usually best done in a theater full of people who are screaming and you know, having good time that I think that's usually a fun thing. Not for this. I would not recommend it for this one. But if you really want to see it, you know, you can watch it on streaming for a lot cheaper.
Yeah. Well, and again, if you have the choice of doing it, watching it when you already have streaming, or going to the theater. There's not a ton of movies that I think you have to go to the theater for anymore. A little bit like Top Gun Maverick. You had to see that in the theater. Yeah, I mean, you know, I as somebody who watches movies and loves the industry, I would I would tend to disagree there. I think movie the experience is better on the big
screen. As big as our screens are at home, and as good as our sound is at home, it just can't be beat. I mean, you know, and I say this to somebody who saw Taylor Swift and Imax and was blown away by it. Didn't expect it, and I just happened to be in the Imax theater to see it. But it was a great experience. It was. It was really something that you could not get at home. And then also with all the people singing and stuff like that.
So there are from that to Killers of the Flower Moon, which I saw in the in the theater, which is three and a half hours long. You know, that's a long one, and I know a lot of people are waiting for it to come on Apple TV Plus and it will. But again, I think the theater experience for that, even though it was so long, it was better than at home. Okay, but you know, to each their own. You changed my mind. Okay. So the Guilded Age is back and streaming, And is that a good thing or a bad
thing? Because I loved that show. Yeah, no, I love it. I loved it too. And I binged. They gave us all the episodes of season two and I watched them immediately. You're, unfortunately gonna have to watch them one by one on HBO as they come out on Sunday Night, but that's fine as well. Give you a little treat to look forward to at the end of the week. This is you know, from Julian Fellows who created Downton Abbey, and it's just it's decadent, escapist type TV
to watch. It's Cynthia Nixon in this one. Yes, yeah, okay, yeah, it's been a couple of years, so I'm it has been it's been a little over I think the first season came out at the beginning of twenty twenty two, so it's been almost two years. And you know, this is also one of those things where HBO's they're kind of business model has always been we have a show on Sunday Night, and when that show ends, we have another show on Sunday Night to keep you you paying for
your subscription, but also just to have something new every Sunday Night. And because of the strike and you know, various problems there, we have not seen a new HBO show in a while. On Sunday nights. I think the last one maybe was the Idol if my memory might be failing me. But HBO is not dominated that Sunday night slot, so it's nice to have something to watch on Sunday nights from them that is of decent quality. You
know, I know, I gain. It's not for everybody. It's eighteen eighties, you know, all the women are wearing big dresses, and it's just kind of a fun show. It is I and it continues to be a fun show. So if you like season one, yep, definitely you'll like season two. Awesome, Jason Nathans, and thank you so much. All right, ticket, all right, have a great week. Let's get back to some of the stories coming out of the KFI twenty four hour newsroom.
