A conversation on racism. // #ceritacorona E02 ft. Andy Bakashaba (Under 30)

A few weeks ago, thousands flooded streets all over the world to voice their hurt and anger due to the recent deaths of Ahmaud Arbery, Breonna Taylor, and George Floyd. Unfortunately, instead of listening and seeking to understand the pain and long history of systemic oppression towards  black communities that led to these protests, many of us questioned these actions given the covid-19 pandemic.  

In this episode, Andy shares with us his personal experience with and perspective on racism, primarily relating to his time in Indonesia. He highlights the significance of empathy from individuals and communities towards progress and seeking to understand before being understood.
