Episode 111- VR Film School

Hello everyone.  Welcome to another exciting episode of VR in Education, where we dive deep into the world of virtual reality for teaching and learning.  Today we have the pleasure of talking to Jon Gress, the CEO of The Metaverse Construction company and founder of The Metaverse Film School, “The World’s First Fully Immersive Metaverse Film School”!  The film school started classes this year using the Engage VR platform.   One of the most challenging aspects of teaching film curricula is balancing the theoretical and practical components of filmmaking.  Instructors need to provide comprehensive knowledge of film theory, history, and aesthetics while also teaching practical skills like cinematography, editing, and directing.  Jon is here today to talk about the efficacy of using VR and virtual worlds for teaching film.
