Episode description

We stand together, Christ and I, in peace and certainty of purpose. And in Him Is His Creator, as He is in me.

My oneness with the Christ establishes me as Your Son, beyond the reach of time, and wholly free of every law but Yours. I have no self except the Christ in me. I have no purpose but His Own. And He is like His Father. Thus must I be one with You as well as Him. For who is Christ except Your Son as You created Him? And what am I except the Christ in me?

- Jesus Christ in A Course in Miracles, Lesson 354

Hi everyone, and welcome to this episode of The Secret Teachings of Jesus Christ. And you know, as you know, he is the reason for the season. It's Christmas season, and this is the last podcast that we're going to do before Christmas, So the next time you'll be hearing from me will be after Christmas. And I'm not going to do a whole new program. I've just done a I've just done a recording. Or actually, no,

it wasn't a recording. It was. I mean, it's it is recorded, but it's actually it was a live broadcast on the Bread of Life programs. So I'm not going to do another whole hour here. I'm just going to use that because it's really for the season. It's my Christmas, my Christmas broadcast for the year, and I just love you. If you've already listened to Water into Wine, which we do on the Bread of Life program, then you know you don't really need to listen to this again because I'm

repeating that program. So I'm just putting this little intro for my Secret teaching guys. Oh, which reminds me. We got a letter last week from Dale. Hi. Dale, I'm really glad that you listen to the program and not getting so much out of it. It's true, it's the word of God. You know that God is in everything you see. The only reason that we get together is of course to remember God. And you know what a better time than Christmas time to remember that. Christmas is all about

you. Really, Christmas is about the birth of Christ in you. It's really your own rebirth, so to speak. It's your real wakening. You know, as Jesus says in the Course of Miracles, the journey to God is me the reawakening of the knowledge of where you are always and what you are forever. It's a journey without distance to a goal that has never changed.

Right here, right now, what we really are tasked with doing is experiencing God, experiencing our own Christhood, knowing that that birth, that rebirth is occurring in us. Christmas is the sign of peace. It's the sign that the light has come. But you are the light of the world, and so we seize the opportunity of Christmas to remember to be the light and to experience everything that goes with it, which is of course far beyond anything

that words can ever describe. So I read a couple of lessons, I read a couple of prayers and and I just really want to share this moment with you. I'm being to share that again. So Dale, you were asking about me, my name is Jubi. You can always write to me directly. You can write to me at Jubi at acimi dot com, jub at acimi dot com. And of course I played the beautiful music of Mitch

and I will playing you. I mean, get ready for a treat because most of the carols that we're going to be playing are carols that Mitch and John put together for me last year. I just said to Mitch, Mitch, please sing me some carols that I can use for my program on the radio, and he did. So we're going to use this carols again this year. And oh my God, just pure love, pure beauty. See, Mitch is really he's not just reciting Christmas carols. He is singing the

truth to you, and it's the truth of his own experience. He's singing from his own experience, from my experience, from your experience, of our shared Christhood, of our sonship of God, of the fatherhood of God. Here and now, so without further ado, I'm just going to go to the podcast I did earlier today. I love you with all my heart and have the most extraordinary Christmas. Thank you for joining me in this moment. Thank you for remembering with me today. It's the winter Solstice, isn't it.

It's just it's the perfect day. I love you, and Merry Christmas. God bless us everyone. So here we go. Hi, good afternoon, and welcome to this episode of Water into Wine. So without further ado, we're of course getting to start with a piece of music that's you know, tells you what the theme is in case you haven't guessed. So here we go. So deck the halls. It's Christmas time. This is going

to be our last podcast of this particular program before Christmas. We will of course continue after Christmas, because as you know, Christmas is this week. Christmas is on Friday, and we do our podcasts on Monday, so the

next time I see you it will be after Christmas. So all we're going to do today is celebrate Christmas. We're just really going to take this whole week and celebrate, but truly celebrate, feel the joy the peace that is Christmas within us, because Christmas is something that happens to you personally, that has happened to you personally, individually within your own mind. For Christ is born, it is your birth, your own rebirth, if you like,

into your own Christhood. We recognize in this moment Christmas is nothing more than recognizing the fatherhood of God, our sonship of God. Isn't that extraordinary? And so all we're going to focus on today is that experience of joy of peace within our own hearts and really feel it radiate through the entire universe because we really are the light of the world. So here we go. For what's your child is born? Form to what's a son is giver? Form?

What's a child is ball? Form to what's your son is giver? Onto uds? A child is born onto ards, a son is giver? For what's a child's ball? You what's the Charlie fall? To what's his son is cool? To miss? His son is fall? What's the child is ball? And you lost? A son is given? Unto us? A child is born child ball onto a son is giving? Son is giving.

The government should be upon his should and this day shall be called Wonderful counselor the Mighty God, Lasting Father the p And you want the child fall? Unto what's the child is born? You? What's the sun skill? What's the sun skill? To us? The Chinese ball? What's the sun skins? The Chungese ball? Shout to the son the god Amun should be aboon, the should and the god about should be upon the shoe, and this game shining cold. So the lighting the lasting Father, the bad Chahda

doesn't for onto us. A child is born? That is of course from Handel's Messiah, and that I believe is actually quoted from Isaiah. And thank you so much David Clifton and the choirs of Peterborough Cathedral. I just my heart, my gratitude goes out to all these guys who make beautiful music and put the music in the public domain so that we can all enjoy it without fear. Interestingly enough, I was looking for Joy to the world, a free version of it that we could play, and it's very very hard to

come by. Well, let me put it this way. I wasn't able to find. I found an electronic version, which was a little too electronic for the occasion. It sounded like somebody had done it with a cheese grater or something. I mean, you know, kudos to them for making music. I completely appreciate the effort, but it just wasn't quite right for our little podcast here anyway. So it's Christmas time. This is the season that

we all wait for. The whole entire year really kind of culminates in this one enormous celebration, this festival of lights, this extraordinary event in the history of mankind, the coming the advent of the Christ, the remembering within the individual mind of my sonship of God, my remembrance that God is my father, the glory of that event, the coming of the light, the recognition of the light, my seeing of the light, my knowing the light.

This is what Christmas is. So we're going to start with a prayer. There isn't going to be a huge amount of talking because I want to play you all the Christmas carols. Since this is my last class before Christmas, I'm going to just spend all out there. I'm going to give you all the songs. Mitch, of course sang a few songs, a few Christmas carols for us. I used them last year when I did that little recording.

The Time of Perfect piece, which is available on Spreaker, kind of starts from the from Christmas Eve through New Year's Eve, and it's just an eight day period of just prayers. I believe I might have played one of them, or you know, played one of them last week. I think I did, probably not for this, oh now I remember of the disaster

of last week's recording. I did this extraordinary, extraordinary class. It's extraordinary because you know, it's always just the episode of remembering our true nature, remembering the love of God and remembering the light. And it was really quite extraordinary. Everything I said did not make it onto the podcast because Hewlett Packard decided to update the microphone software on this Peter. I have no idea why

that they made everything go away. And it was only after the class that Microsoft Windows told me that, you know, HP had done something and that my microphone wasn't working and it needed to be reset. So it got reset. Unfortunately it was too late, because you know, this is a live broadcast. I'm doing this right on the Spreaker live broadcast console on spreaker dot com. So what doesn't make it doesn't make it. You know, there

isn't a do over. This is what I love about this. It's just it's now or never, and there is only now So anyway, without further ado, I'm just going to get back into the mood of this class. Let's start with a prayer, one of my favorite prayers in the Course of Miracles, and the one that is perfect, you know, for this for the season, you know, for the season of peace and goodwill to all

men, the season of joy. So here we go with this prayer, and it is of course lessen to twenty one of the workbook of a Course in Miracles, which interestingly enough comes before lessen to twenty two, which we sing a lot. God is with me, I live moving him. So this is a prayer that comes just before that one, and it's peace to my mind. Let all my thoughts be still. Father, I come to

you today to seek the peace that you alone can give. I come in silence, in the quiet of my heart, the deep recesses of my mind. I wait and listen for your voice, My Father, speak to me today. I come to hear your voice in silence and uncertainty and love. Sure you will hear my call and answer me. Now do we wait in quiet? God is here. Because we wait together, I am sure that He will speak to you and you will hear. Accept my confidence for it

is yours our minds are joined. We wait with one intent to hear our father's answer to our call, to let our thoughts be still and find his peace, to hear him speak to us of what we are, and to reveal himself unto his son. Wow, said the night wind to the little land, Do you see what I see? Way up in the sky, little land, Do you see what I see? A storm? A star dancing in the night with a table less big as a ki, with a tail as big as a kind sid a little lamb. To the shepherd boy,

do you hear one ringing through the sky? Shepherd boy? Do you hear what a song? A song high above the tree with a voice, a as big as the sea, with a voice says big as the sea, said the shepherd boy to the mighty King, do you know what I know? In your palace? Warm? Mighty King? Do you know what I know? The child? The child shippers in the cold. Let us bring him silver and gold. Let us bring him silver and gold, said the King to the people everywhere. Listen to what I say. Pray for

peace, people everywhere, listen to what I say. The child, the child sleeping in the night, He will bring us goodness and light. He will bring us goodness and lone. Thank you, Mitch, thank you so much. That was Mitch and John, everyone, I love you so much. Thank you. In this season Christmas, which celebrates the birth of holiness into this world, join with me, who decided for holiness for you. It is our task together to restore the awareness of magnitude to the host whom

God appointed for himself. It is beyond all littleness to give the gift of God, but not beyond you, for God would give himself through you. He reaches from you to everyone, and beyond everyone, to his son's creations, without leaving you, far beyond your little world, but still in you. He extends forever. Yet he brings all his extensions to you as host to him. This is Christmas, dear one. This is how you must

begin to experience yourself now. This is the reason for the season, for you to recognize your own Christhood. Angels, we have heard on high. Here's mitching John again. Angels, we have heard on high sweetly singing all the plains and the mountains reply calling the joy strange Aria inn excelsius dayo claw oia Innaxcelsius, day o, shepherds, Why this Tubli, Why your joy strains prolong? What the gladson tidings be which inspire your hevenly song? Clowia,

innax Clsius dayo, Hello, Excelsius, Gloria in exjealsice Dale. See I say it like a Catholic, I say, exjalsis, this is how we learned it. I love that she says, Excelsius with that very soft sea thank you. That was just beautiful. So let's continue here. I mean, this is chapter fifteen of the text of A Course and Miracles. This is everything you need to know and experience in this moment. This is what Christmas is. It's your recognition, it's your experience of the divine light

of God in you. The Holy Christ is born in you. You are the Christ. So here we go, Holy child of God. When will you learn that only holiness can content you and give you peace? Remember that you learn not for yourself alone, no more than I did. It is

because I learned for you that you can learn of me. I would but teach you what is yours, so that together we can replace the shabby littleness that binds the host of God to guilt and weakness with the glad awareness of the glory that is in Him. My birth in you is your awakening to grandeur. Welcome me not in a manger, but into the altar to holiness where holiness abides in perfect peace. My kingdom is not of this world, because it is in you, and you are of your Father. Let us

join in honoring you, who must remain forever beyond littleness. Wow. Come, they told me bar rupp a pom pom our new born king to see par up a pom pom our finest gives. Watch with me, Angels, watch with me today. Let all God's holy thoughts surround me and be still with me

while Heaven's son is born. Wow. Let earthly sounds be quiet, and the sights to which I am accustomed to disappear. Let Christ be welcomed where he is at home, and let him hear the sounds he understands and see but sights that show his father love. Let him no longer be a stranger here, for he is born again in me today. Your son is welcome. Father. He has come to save me from the evil self I made. He is the self that you have given me. He is but what

I really am. In truth, He is the son you love above all things. He is myself as you created me. It is not Christ that can be crucified, safe in your arms. Let me receive your son. Lent Night, Holy night, oldly is called als bride, roundion Worgan,

Christ's vision would I use today? When it can offer me a day in which I see a world so like to heaven that an ancient memory returns to me. Today, I can forget the world I made. Today, I can go past all fear and be restored to love and holiness and peace. Today I am redeemed and born anew into a world of money and of care, of loving kindness and the peace of God. And so our Father, we return to you, remembering we never went away, remembering your holy gifts

to us in gratitude and thankfulness. We come with empty hands and open hearts and minds, asking, but what you give. We cannot make an offering sufficient for your son. But in your love the gift of Christ is his Oh and balm and balm thou tree, most fair and lovely, ou tan

you, John, thank you, Father, thank you you, thank you all of you. Thank you. This instant is the only time there is. I have conceived of time in such a way that I defeat my aim. If I elect to reach past time to timelessness, I must change my perception of what time is. For time's purpose cannot be to keep the past and future one The only interval in which I can be saved from time is now, for in this instant has forgiveness come to set me free. The

birth of Christ is now without a past or future. He has come to give his present blessing to the world, restoring it to timelessness and love, and love is ever present here and now. Wow. Thanks for this instant, Father, It is now I am redeemed. This instant is the time you have appointed for your son's release and for the salvation of the world in him. Wow mm hmmm. cray the Lord in fearlessness and love. I spend today this day, my Father, would I spend you as you have chosen all my days should be. And what I will experience is not of time at all. The joy that comes to me is not of days nor hours, for it comes from heaven to your sun. This day will be your sweet reminder to remember you, your gracious calling to your holy son, the sign your grace has come to me, and that it is your will I be set free to day.

We spend this day together, you and I and all the world joins with us in our song of thankfulness and joy to him who gave salvation to us and who set us free. We are restored to peace and holiness. There is no room in us for fear today, for we have welcomed love into our hearts. Away a manger, no crib for a bend. The Little Lord Jesus laid down his sweet head. The stars in the sky looked

down where he lay, the Little Lord Jesus. The sleep warm the head, the cartal lord loring the baby owas but live to Lord Jesus, no cry he makes I love the Lord Jesus look down from the sky and stay by my cradle till morning. Is n me me me, Lord Jesus. I ask THEE to stay close by me forever and love me. I prayless all the dear your children, imber, care and feed us for heven to live with leaving. There is no end to all the peace and joy and

all the miracles that I will give when I accept God's word? Why not today? Why not now? Why should I wait, my father for the joy you promised me? For you will keep your word you gave your son in exile. I am sure my treasure waits for me, and I need but reach out my hand to find it. Even now my fingers touch it. It is very close. I need not wait an instant more to be at peace forever. It is you I choose, and my identity along with you. Your son would be himself and know you as his father and his

creator and his love. Thank you, Father, I love you with all my heart. Succeed It's so, it's see see Stasi pas au say us now say it so a se as. It's full of the song. It says all the things and asking ass souss a goal it's all the time he saw see. I am God's Son, complete and healed and whole, shining in the reflection of His love. In me is his creation sanctified and guaranteed. Eternal life. In me is love perfected, fear impossible, and joy

established without opposite. I am the holy home of God himself. I am the heaven where his love resides. I am his holy sinlessness itself. For in my purity abides his own. That is true. That is you. That's the truth about you. That is your identity. That is the experience of Christmas, that realization, that remembrance deep within your own heart and mind. You know that unequivocally you are the Holy Son of God himself. Our useful words is almost over now. Yet in the final days of this one

year we gave to God. Together you and I we found the single purpose that we shared, and thus you joined with me. So what I am are you as well. The truth of what we are is not for words to speak of nor describe. Yet we can realize our function here and words can speak of this and teach it too. If we exemplify the words in us we are the bringers of salvation. We accept our part as saviors of the world, which through our joint forgiveness is redeemed, and this our gift

is therefore given us. We look on everyone as brother and perceive all things as kindly and as good. We do not seek a function that is past the gate of heaven. Knowledge will return when we have done our part. We are concerned only with giving welcome to the truth. Ours are the eyes through which Christ's vision sees a world read deemed from every thought of sin. Ours are the ears that hear the voice for God proclaim the world as sinless.

Ours the mind that joined together as we bless the world, and from the oneness that we have attained. We call to all our brothers, asking them to share our peace and consummate our joy. We are the holy messengers of God, who speak for him and carrying his word to everyone whom He has sent to us. We learn that it is written on our hearts, and thus our minds are changed about the aim for which we came and which

we seek to serve. We bring glad tidings to the Son of God, who thought he suffered, now is he redeemed, and as he sees the gates of heaven stand open before him, he will enter in and disappear into the heart of God. Wow. And on that note, my dearest brother, my love, my friend, my savior, my oneself, we will bring this podcast to a close, and we will close with the song with which we opened, Deck the Halls. But now we are going to have

Mitch and John sing and play it for us. Here we go, deck the halls with bows of holy teams, the season to be Jelli vla la la la la la la la dawn. Remember, Christmas is here, It's now, it's you, it is your rebirth, it is your remembering that you are the holy son of God himself. It is your remembrance of the Father. It is this moment of love, of peace, of joy that pass of all understanding. I thank you, my dearest brother. I love you with all my heart. Thank you Father, Thank you God bless

us each and everyone. I love you and I will see you everywhere. Merry Christmas. This is the bread of life, true bread from our Father in Heaven, our daily nourishment, coming to you live from the Starlight Ballroom, the upper room at the Cheese Factory Restaurant. Thank you for joining
