LESSON 78
Let Miracles Replace All Grievances.

Perhaps it is not yet quite clear to you that each decision that you make is one between a grievance and a miracle. Each grievance stands like a dark shield of hate before the miracle it would conceal. And as you raise it up before your eyes, you will not see the miracle beyond. Yet all the while it waits for you in light, but you behold your grievances instead.Today we go beyond the grievances, to look upon the miracle instead. We will reverse the way you see by not allowing sight to stop before it sees. We will not wait before the shield of hate, but lay it down and gently lift our eyes in silence to behold the Son of God.He waits for you behind your grievances, and as you lay them down he will appear in shining light where each one stood before. For every grievance is a block to sight, and as it lifts you see the Son of God where he has always been. He stands in light, but you were in the dark. Each grievance made the darkness deeper, and you could not see.Today we will attempt to see God’s Son. We will not let ourselves be blind to him; we will not look upon our grievances. So is the seeing of the world reversed, as we look out toward truth, away from fear. We will select one person you have used as target for your grievances, and lay the grievances aside and look at him. Someone, perhaps, you fear and even hate; someone you think you love who angered you; someone you call a friend, but whom you see as difficult at times or hard to please, demanding, irritating or untrue to the ideal he should accept as his, according to the role you set for him.You know the one to choose; his name has crossed your mind already. He will be the one of whom we ask God’s Son be shown to you. Through seeing him behind the grievances that you have held against him, you will learn that what lay hidden while you saw him not is there in everyone, and can be seen. He who was enemy is more than friend when he is freed to take the holy role the Holy Spirit has assigned to him. Let him be savior unto you today. Such is his role in God your Father’s plan. Our longer practice periods today will see him in this role. You will attempt to hold him in your mind, first as you now consider him. You will review his faults, the difficulties you have had with him, the pain he caused you, his neglect, and all the little and the larger hurts he gave. You will regard his body with its flaws and better points as well, and you will think of his mistakes and even of his “sins.”Then let us ask of Him Who knows this Son of God in his reality and truth, that we may look on him a different way, and see our savior shining in the light of true forgiveness, given unto us. We ask Him in the holy Name of God and of His Son, as holy as Himself:Let me behold my savior in this one You have appointed
as the one for me to ask to lead me to the holy light in
which he stands, that I may join with him.
The body’s eyes are closed, and as you think of him who grieved you, let your mind be shown the light in him beyond your grievances. What you have asked for cannot be denied. Your savior has been waiting long for this. He would be free, and make his freedom yours. The Holy Spirit leans from him to you, seeing no separation in God’s Son. And what you see through Him will free you both. Be very quiet now, and look upon your shining savior. No dark grievances obscure the sight of him. You have allowed the Holy Spirit to express through him the role God gave Him that you might be saved.God thanks you for these quiet times today in which you laid your images aside, and looked upon the miracle of love the Holy Spirit showed you in their place. The world and Heaven join in thanking you, for not one Thought of God but must rejoice as you are saved, and all the world with you.We will remember this throughout the day, and take the role assigned to us as part of God’s salvation plan, and not our own. Temptation falls away when we allow each one we meet to save us, and refuse to hide his light behind our grievances. To everyone you meet, and to the ones you think of or remember from the past, allow the role of savior to be given, that you may share it with him. For you both, and all the sightless ones as well, we pray:Let miracles replace all grievances.

Good morning, Welcome to a course in miracles lesson of the day. Let miracles replace all grievances. And of course we started yesterday with the claim on miracles, on that what we really are m not because of the things that we do, what we said, not because the association with people that we

know, but simply because of what we are. And now we're gonna look at all the dark stuff, all the hatred, all the pain and suffering that we put in place of everything and everyone cool, and uh, the only thing that we really wanna do is uh, ask for a miracle. And what else is a miracle? Then the idea of a correction. I was mistaken, and I ask for a correction. That's the only appropriate that's

the only appropriate way of responding is to a mistake is correction. And the whole idea of this world, of course, is a grievance, the idea of giving everything a name except for being God. And that's also immediately where the fear kicks in is that now suddenly God is in everything I see. Doesn't mean that a part of God is in that table, or a part of God is in that chair, or part of God is in you?

Today? What we're gonna do, is gonna see the totality of it, and we're gonna see that God is that table, God is that chair, God is that person that I see. And I no longer want to keep that separate. And that's the whole idea of the world. Is we people our world. We give all the people names and keep them separate from each other. Well, the whole idea of dear one is that no dear one. The whole idea of dear one, I don't know how you translate that.

The whole idea of dear one is that that person is dear to me, that point, that thing that I see is dear to me. It is all one, It is all dear one, It's all close to my heart to who I am. It is what I am. So let miracles replace all grievances, because we are I am entitled to miracles. And with the first sentence it starts with, perhaps it is not yet quite clear to you that each decision that you make is one between a grievance and a miracle.

And I want to take that one step further, if even possible, But I want to introduce another idea on top of that it's the idea that you're always teaching, always teaching that what you believe that is true in every single interaction, in every name calling, and I mean like everything that you

give a name. You decide between a grievance and a miracle, or if Jesus says it earlier in the text, between being right or happy, or later on in the menu for teachers, between completeness and separation, and that decision we make constantly. And the real question here is who do I think that I am? Who do I think that I am? Because what I am you must be too, because I cannot see you differently than that I

see myself. And it is the completeness, it is the totality of it where we're gonna work on today, because it is necessary that we're no longer part of God, but the realization that we are God. We are God's Son, complete and whole and perfect. There is nothing outside of me, Nothing happens to me by accident. Each grievance stands like a dark shield of hate before the miracle it would conceal. Each grievances stands like a dark shield. And why is it a shield? That is it is literally it is

literally covering up, keeping the light out. It is pulling the blankets over your hand, and say, what is out there is not part of me. And here your daddy walks into the room, and of course he knows that you're under the blanket. You're never left eats. Grievance stands like a dark shield of hate before the miracle it would conceal. And as you raise it up before your eyes, you will not see the miracle beyond. And what is important here is the idea of you raise it up. You raise

up the grievance. You literally pick something up up and put it in front of your eyes, blocking the side of truth. And we all know how easy that it is done, picking up something and holding it in front of

your eyes. But here it comes. The longer you hold it up, the more you start to realize that it costs a little bit of effort to keep that arm up and to keep that in front of your eyes, to block your side, until on one point your arms get so heavy that you cannot do anything different than just let that arm down, your armor down, let that shield go down. And then you realize once you let that arm down, once you let that what you block your side with down. How

much energy that has cost to keep it in place. This is a course in undoing. How do you let go? Just drop it, stop giving it energy, Stop wasting your energy with forcing your own ideas on everything and everyone. And he speaks about a shield of hate that goes back immediately to the first miracle principle, the first one that there is no order of difficulty in miracles which will save you. But it has to be exactly the same

in the other way. There is not a spark of darkness that does not represent all pain and suffering within the whole world, not a slight idea of discomfort that represents the whole rage of all the world. Because it is in the thought of separation. It is not will be willing to see the totality of everything in that spark that keeps you separate. Yet all the while it it waits for you in light, but you behold your grievances instead. Nothing

has changed. What do I associate with? What am I gonna use? What am I a complete and total part of? That's the question, Because everything and everyone is waiting for me to be released out of the prison that I have put you in. I assigned this role to you. You have

to do what I think that you have to do. Meanwhile, I'm the main character in my own movie, but I forgot to hand out the scripts to everyone, and even those that I gave the script of this movie are doing things that I don't want them to do, or are not doing the things that I want them to do. Isn't it true that you put this ring on my finger and I put it on yours does not mean that I can expect this and that stop bounding the world around you to the names that

you gave it. The light is waiting. The light is waiting. Miracles replace all grievances, and today we go beyond the grievances to look upon the miracle. Instead, we see now truly what we were covering up. We will reverse the way you see by not allowing sight to stop before it sees. So while we were first very compelled with looking at the outside, taking things for face value, for what we see when we look at it the big cover, now we ask to look a little bit longer at a thing

before we start to judge it on the outside. We open up our minds to take a little longer look at what it is that we see. Is it truly the anger and hate that I wanna see? Or does there something away beyond that that is always available and waiting for me to see? That is exactly what we're gonna do. We literally go beyond grievances because we drop them down. All the grievances are on the floor now and we easily step

over them. And by reversing the way that the world looks at every thing, the world is strained and does not know anything else than judging things on the outside. And everything has a different name, and everything is judged by its name. But now we're gonna apply real judgment. We're gonna acknowledge that whatever name we gave to anything was just to serve my agenda, to serve the script that I wrote, the movie, the movie that I was trying

to make. We let it go now, and we'll let everything be exactly what it is. We're gonna see the face of Christ in everything and in everyone and everywhere, not allowing sight to stop before it sees that requires a little bit more willingness. And isn't that everything that Jesus is really asking of It is the willingness. We will not wait before the shield of hate, but lay it down and gently lift our eyes in silence to behold the Son

of God. So here you can see that it is not just only helpful to drop your grievances and see them laying on the floor, but to literally lift up your chin, lift up your head and behold the treasure that is right in front of you. Look it in the eye, Look it straight in the eye, like we do with everything. What about fear? Look it straight in the eye. See what it really is, a blockage?

And do you really wanna hold on to that? We will not wait before the shield of hate, but lay it down and gently lift our eyes in silence to behold the Son of God. Silence is a keyword here. We're not going to put all kinds of other things on it. We're not going to put any kind of limitations on the Son of God that is shining right in front of us. What has always been perfect right there, Everything has always been perfect and is only waiting for my recognition that that is the truth.

He waits for you behind your grievances. The Son of God is waiting for me. Behind the grievances. That person that I hold in, you know, locked down to follow the role that I predetermined based on the outside, based on my own ideas, is literally waiting for me to be released. And as you lay them down the grievances, he will appear in shining light where each one stood before. The mirror gole will shine its light where each grievance stood before. For every grievance is a bl block to sight.

Every grievance is a block to sight, even the small one. I just dislike how this person speaks to me. I would do it differently if I was that person. I would never associate in the way that that person does. Look, it doesn't hurt me, but I think he's doing it wrong. All those things are grievances that are blocking this sight of the total awareness of God, the awareness of God's Son in everything, the recognition of the

face of Christ. For every grievance is a block to sight, and as it lifts, you see the Son of God where he has always been. So instead of dwelling in those grievances down here, you literally lift up. You lift yourself out of it, You lift yourself out of the battlefield. All the illusions, all the misperceptions. Nothing went wrong, nothing is locked out. It is either not remembered or colored by the filter that I put

in front of my eyes. And don't we know it that it is so easy, once you see one little grievance to top that up, because your mind is already set in that direction. I don't like the way her hair is, and by the way, I also don't like the things that she said that she says. And the funny thing is it has always something to do with the past and with time, but never with here. And now let's look at the here and now, let's stand still for a moment in

silence. I'll let everything just be exactly what it is. He stands in light. He stands in light, but I were in darkness. He stands in light, but you were in the dark. Absolute fast sens sense, past sense. It It talks about you were in the dark, not now. You were in the dark and you kept yourself in the dark, but very specifically speaks about the past. Because our eyes are open now, we dropped all our grievances and we joined in that light in the recognition that God

is everywhere, that God is within. And each grievance made the darkness deeper, and you could not see past sense it is over. Now today we will attempt to see God's Son. And this is the gentle way that the chorus is pulling us into a different direction. But of course we know that attend is just the beginning, and might even be a straight denial of your true willingness, because nothing can fail if you truly want it. It is an attempt, but we know that there's no nothing outside of us that can

stop us in succeeding in this attempt. So let's just do it today. Let's just do it. Let's do it now. Today we will see God's Son. We will not let ourselves be blind to him. We don't cover up ourselves anymore with a veil that is only partial. No, we stop covering up. We break it open. We look inside. We will not look upon our grievances. We will not look upon our grievances. We're not gonna chew on them hold on to them, but ask for a miracle instead.

And the miracle is the real transformation of mind. It doesn't say anything about the grievance of someone else. It doesn't say anything about that what I hold against you. The problem is not out there, The problem is right

here. The problem is in my mind. If I pray for you, I pray for the correction of my mind to see you truly, to see God truly, to really be in the experience that God is everywhere and always, that the Spirit goes with me wherever I go, in the deepest darkness and the brightest light Spirit never I am one with my force, with my complete total connection that has no opposite. There is nothing opposite too. God is. And then we find a period, and that period spreads it out

until eternity. That period is always here. There is no period outside of here. God is period. It encompasses everything always. We will not let ourselves be blind to Him. We will not look upon our grievances. So is the seeing of the world reversed as we look toward truth away from fear. We're looking out, We're reaching out. We want to have that side corrected. And that's where the honesty really comes in. To truly be honest about what I'm doing in my mind at any given moment. Do I bind

my own mind in fear or do I let it go? Do I release everything? So we will select one person, one person, one situation. We don't have to select all those people that we have grievances with. Yeah, and it's just pick one, an easy one. And that's the that's the greatest miracle of them all, is that one corrected is all corrected. Just one person. We will select one person you have used as target for your grievances, And that almost sounds that we already predetermined to have grievances actually

based on no grounds. You know, you have used to target for your grievances, as target, as aim for the separation within me, for the frustration of being separate in me, and I tunnel that into a singular grievance out there to this one person. Now we lay the grievances aside and look at him. Someone perhaps you fear, someone you even hate, or maybe someone you think you love who angered you, someone you call a friend with whom you see is difficult at times, or heart to please, demanding,

irritating, or untrue to the ideal. He should accept as his according to the role you I set him up to. All those things, all those small things and big things, we just all see them in this one person, you know, the one to choose. His name has crossed your mind already. He will be the one of whom we ask God's son be shown to you. It is simple, It's just this one person, simple small exercise. There's nobody else. We just hear among friends. We can be

honest. You don't have to admit it to me, You don't have to admit it to anybody else. You don't have to shout of the from the rooftop. What grievance does you have to and why and why you're so justified in it? You can just be honest to ourselves. This person will be the one of whom we ask God's Son be shown to you. So we literally ask this person to show us the face of God, the face of

Christ, the holiness. And then it is clear how every relationship becomes a holy relationship, the moment we step on the carpet and let and let all our armory, behind all the judgments, all the ideas, and to step on the carpet of holiness, which nobody really ever left. I stepped out of the ring. I was the one that didn't wanna participate anymore. I was the one that was determined to give everything a separate name. And now I blame you. Hm, we gonna drop it. We're gonna look at

you. I'm gonna look at you. You're gonna look at your grievance. You're gonna look at this one person and look truly at that one and ask of God's Son to be reflected to me. Through seeing him behind the grievances that you have held against him, you will learn that what lay hidden while you s saw him not He's there in everyone and can be seen. It isn't everyone, and it can be seen. God is in everything I see. Let's go back all the way to January. First. Nothing I see

means anything. All those separate names mean absolutely nothing. We're gonna go beyond that. We drop all the grievances, We free everything from the bondage that we had before. It is there in everyone and can be seen. He who was enemy is more than friend when he is freed to take the holy role. The Holy Spirit has a signed to him. He who was enemy, that outside sculpture, that part that we just glance over, that be condemned to enemy, does not just transform to friend, but to more than

a friend. Because there is not really an answer to opposites here in the world, because friend is the opposite of enemy. But we go beyond that. It is more than a friend that he becomes. It becomes me. He becomes the son of God. It becomes the barrier of truth. The light of the world reflected back to me, waiting for my willingness to look upon it. And it is not only that I want to set him free. I want to be free because the warden, the God, is as

much in prison as the prisoner. And now I let him take you, take the holy role that the Holy Spirit has assigned to him. Instead of learning that person a lesson, teaching you a lesson, Let's reverse this whole worldly thing. Let's turn it around and let this be a lesson for me. Let him be the savior unto you today. Who is my savior? Who is your savior? Who's your savior? Said Jesus, s Jesus your savior. Let's see Jesus in everyone and everything. Let him be the savior

unto you today. Such is his role in God, your Father's plan. I will accept my role in God's plan for salvation. I have to set the world free. The world is already free. I don't see it. I bound it. I keep it bound. Let's lift those boundaries up our longer practice periods today will see him in this role. You will attempt to

hold him in your mind. Look at this person, this one person that we chose first, as you now consider him, look at him, review his faults, the difficulties you have had with him, The pain he cost you is neglect, and all the little and the larger hurts he gave you can be honest, just look at it. You will regard his body with its flaws and better points as well. He is so good at, you know, pushing my buttons. He is so good to always say the wrong

thing. This one person the cause of that I am not in peace, the cause I can blame for not being happy. You will regard his body with its flaws and better points as well. And you will think of his mistakes and even of his sin, even of his sins. And do we not even do we not look at as was pointed out yesterday? Do we not look at since as mistakes that we willingly did not correct. I know he could do better, but he didn't just to be to get under my

skin. Isn't that how we look at sins? But in the past, always the past, It's always the past that this person, you or someone else did something that could have been corrected in time but didn't. Now instead of trying to correct it out there, of course, we are gonna correct it in here. And we don't identify with this body as I, but we go beyond this body. We go within. Jesus is not in a body. Jesus is with in. God is within. This body is as

much out there as anything else. God is total. God is total, not partially. Let us ask of him who who knows this Son of God in his reality and truth, as within as without. Let us ask of him who knows the Son of God, who knows me, who knows me in my reality and truth, that we may look on everything and everyone a different way. On this one person that I hold that I helped this grievance against. To see this person in a different way and see our Savior Jesus

Christ shining in the light of true forgiveness. What is true forgiveness. Forgetting true forgiveness is complete. Forgetting true forgiveness does not require time. It Let time go and see everything for what it is and see our Savior shining in the light of true forgiveness given unto us. We ask him in the Holy Name of God and of his Son, as holy as himself. We ask uh, We ask him in the holy name of God and of his Son, as holy as himself. Let me behold, Let me behold my Savior.

In this one you have appointed as the one for me to ask to lead me to the holy light in which he stands, that I may join with him. The body's eyes are closed. And as you think of him who grieved, who grieved you, let your mind be shone the light in him beyond your grievances. Let's step it up. This person was on the holy carpet all the time. Let me join him. Let me stand next to you. Let's stand next to each other. Let me behold my shavier.

In this one, you have a pointed as the one for me to ask to lead me to the holy light in which he stands, that I may join with him. It is reversed. The problem was not out there. The problem was in my mind. Now I can join with the with the shavier, with the great ones, the ones that were released all along. I try, I try to keep them from the light, but they were always in the light. I've blocked that. Now now it is over and gone. What you have asked for cannot be denied. What you have

asked for cannot be denied. That goes both ways in this world. What do you ask for? The grievance or the light? What you have asked for cannot be denied. Your Savior has been waiting long for this. He would be free and make his freedom yours. Now suddenly I join. Now, suddenly I stand next to this person that I hold all those grievances with.

And we know that that is true. We have had many, many experiences of grievances that circumstantially changed because suddenly we real that it was different, and then all the cause of all the grounds for all the foundation for the grievances were swept away. We know it is true. We know it is possible. We know that we really want that. I want that. I want to see God and everything, and now his freedom. He would be free and make his freedom yours. The Holy Spirit leans from him to you,

seeing no separation in God's son. How many saviors are there in the world, those who have been around for a little longer, We'll say one? How many gods? Of how many sons of gods are there only one? How many gods are there only one. It is not a shared dream that we continue into some kind of strange reality, and it is a complete opposite. There is no two. He would be free and make his freedom yours. The Holy Spirit leans from him to you, seeing no separation in

God's Son, and what you see through him will free you both. Yeah, be very quiet now and look upon your shining Savior. No dark grievances obscure the light of him. You have allowed the Holy Spirit. You have allowed the Holy Spirit to express through him through the person that I held grievance against the role God gave him that you might be saved. It is a very egoistic part. I'm concerned about my well being, but I am concerned

about it completely. I need to be saved. Everybody else is already in heaven and God. Thanks you for these quiet times to day in which you laid your images aside. And the keyword here is again thankfulness. I am grateful. I don't pray for change your form. I am grateful and thankful for the change of mind. The world and Heaven join in thanking, thanking you for not one thought of God, but must rejoice as you are saved.

Let me start this paragraph one more time, God thanks you for these quiet times to day in which you laid your images aside and looked upon the miracle of love the Holy Spirit showed you in their place. The world and heaven join in thinking you. The world and heaven joy in thinking you for not one thought of God, but must rejoice as you are saved in all the world with you. We will remember this throughout the day and take the role assigned to us as part of God's salvation plan, and not our own.

Any gathering here in the world, gathering of more money, gathering of more status, any type of salvation plan. It won't work, it won't let. But now we take the role assigned to us as part of God's salvation plan. The totality everything Temptation falls away when we allow each one we meet to save us. Temptation to look down and pick up those grievances fall away when we allow each one we meeted today to save us and refuse to

hide His light behind our grievances. To everyone you meet, and to the ones you think of or remember from the past, allow the role of savior to be given. This is a timeless course. It doesn't really matter where in time you jump in or jump out, the action is always the same. To realize it is one. There is nothing outside, and this playground, this holy playground, is always always there, and we refuse to hide

His light behind our grievances. To every one you meet, and to the ones you think of or remember from the past, allow the role of Savior to be given that you may share it with him. For you both and all the sightless ones as well. We pray, let miracles replace all grievances. Let miracles replace all grievances. Amen, Thank you, thank you. And that's the only thing we can really always lean back on. Being grateful. Pray for the miracle, the correction. Pray for the sight of the

light that is always there. It's never changed, it's never been different. I love you, I love you. Nothing went wrong, nothing went wrong. Amen, I'm certain I will see you soon again. You have been listening to voice from Heaven live in the Miracles Healing Center. Remember that God's voice speaks to you all through the day. That God goes with you wherever you go, and that God is the mind with which you think. God bless us everyone,
