Lesson of the Day 281 - I Can Be Hurt By Nothing But My Thoughts with Devavan

mind training is actually taught in that lesson. We will get into that in a moment, because it is really the basis from the very beginning of the mind training. Because it is also like saying, I can't be guilty only by my thoughts, right it is it is that expression of projection makes perception. Right. It is always my thought first and not the other way around as it

was believed to. So this lesson is part of a new sequence, right, It is a new sequence of lessons to eighty one to do ninety and we have got a new introduction. That new introduction is what is the Holy Spirit? And just to mention it once more, what we were sharing for the last ten days because in

what is the Christ? There was a connection given also about the Holy Spirit, so that you can see that the Holy Spirit really reaches, he said, reaches from the Christ in us to all our dreams, to all our illusions, to all our conceptual thoughts, and the Holy Spirit beats them. Come to him. Right, That is just an expression of an invitation, come to me, and I will give you rest. Right and or, as it is said here in that sentence,

to be translated into truth. So the Holy Spirit is a translator, as we know, and he will exchange them for the final dream. Right, He's the one who does the work. He is the one who is the the replacing faculty in our mind. That's what we consider as correction. And that correction that is done for us is what we consider a miracle. So what is a miracle? A

miracle is a correction. And it is the Holy Spirit that translates or my meaningless human thoughts I accumulated since the beginning of time into truths and exchanges it to the final dream. That final dream, it must be a dream of being experiencing myself in a forgiven word. As it was also mentioned yesterday back lay, I thank you

by a way to just accept simply I am forgiven. Right, you are forgiven already, and of course you don't realize that unless you are in an experience that is beyond what human perceptional mind offers, because what human perceptional mind offers are those oppositions right, the good and the wrong, or the bad and the right and the wrong, and so on, in those contradictions, in those terms of how we are educated for the beginning of time to accept

our reality and ourselves within that set up reality. And that's why it is so revolutionary to remember again that our reality is singular, that we are having not and reality in an opposing thought system. Only one thought system is true and real and represents reality. And that is really what the Holy Spirit shows us and facilitates for us, right because of course we are looking for evidence of that singularity in our dreams, and where would we be

able to find it. We are trying to find find it outside ourselves, and we find it in representations of awakened mind in one or many many brothers, so to speak. But finally we have to find it fully in a full acceptance in ourselves, and that is what Jesus Christ, our own Christ, mind, our whole mind gives us in this mind training of a cossing murders. He lets you know that you are the manifestation of Him in this world. So he exchanges all our illusions for the final dream,

which God appointed as the end of dreams. And we're calling that forgiveness, right that just as a kind of

a breach of coming into that sharing. What is the Holy Spirit which we will here again, as we already mentioned it that the faculty is involved of translating as a whole thought system into He uses the term here love that is a mediator, that is a breach and involved in preaching this gap of which he speaks, this gap between the human dreaming and reality is grace of God involved and needed so that it can be replaced

by the eternal truth. And interesting enough, also he tells us that it is actually the Holy Spirit who understands the means that we made. He understands us completely right, He understands how we think. He just understands us in the way where we find ourselves is literally that guy you could say that picks you up, that picks you

up and gets you out of here. And therefore it must be also the core, because there's a core from the beginning of time, and that core is to come home right, and the Holy Spirit is literally that call and all in alle with how we see how our mind is restored to sanity, and how we let ourselves

be restored, and how we ask for the restoration. We step by step, in one instant out of time, we realize that we are filled up with the gifts of God right, and we are supposed to accept those gifts that come from our Father in heaven, and that one of those gifts. I mean, there are many lessons who talk about that love, the joy, that happiness, but it is also that care and he will call it from

love to love. So let's just get through that in the introductory summing it up or concluding that the Holy Spirit is literally that energy from your own christ mind, your own whole mind that extends the love to itself, that is the extension of God's mind. Right. So it is a nice symbol to talk about that that we were considering the Holy Spirit to be for the last two thousand years and now come to recognize, Oh my God, this is all in me and is me I am

the manifestation of the Holy Spirit. In my own dream in this world as I see it still, and he will be that power of mind that will let all my illusions disappear, so that I can disappear and realize that I have already disappeared and be home. Welcome, Welcome, Thank you so much for being here with me. It is a pleasure and an honor, and yes, that will lead us directly into I can't be hurt by nothing but my thoughts. That is the Holy Spirit giving me

giving you. Then tie up power of responsibility as you think. That is what you will believe you are, and that is exactly how you will experience yourself. And of course the choice is if you want to experience yourself as whole and healed and perfect as God created you, and see that it is true that pain is impossible, that you have nothing in common and no business with suffering within you and of this world at all, except to be completely responsible and let it be corrected in your mind.

The Holy Spirit mediates between illusions and the truth. He is this one, the leader, that mediator between illusions and the truth, the one who will help you to realize the truth is true and nothing else is true, perception or perception leads to knowledge and has to lead to knowledge through the grace that God has given him to be his gift to everyone who turns to him in truth. And across the bridge that he provides are dreams or

carried to the truth. We are dealing here with dreams of which we want and are willing to wake up. Wake up, my friend, Wake up, my dear, from this dream of death. It isn't real, it never was real, it never will be real. Let's just wake up to be dispelled before the light of knowledge. Don't be afraid. There are sights and sounds forever laid.

Let's keep on going to that idea of the Holy Spirit being the translator in that second paragraph of what is the Holy Spirit? The goal the Holy Spirit's teaching sets is just this end of dreams. For sights and sounds must be translated from the witnesses of fear to those of love they see. Those sides and sounds must be translated from the witnesses of fear to those of love. And when this is entirely accomplished, learning has achieved the

only goal it has in truth. The only goal that learning has in truth is when this translation of fear to love has been accomplished. For learning, as the Holy Spirit guides it to the outcome he persives, for it becomes the means to go beyond itself, to go beyond itself, to be replaced by the eternal truth. So give yourself a moment to let that be. Let that replacement occur in you, because it is eternal truth that replaces it. Ah,

thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you. Class. If you but knew how much your father yearns to have you recognize you seedlessness, you would not let his voice appeal in vain, nor turn away from his replacement for the fearful images and dreams you made. Right, if you but knew, you would not let God's voice appeal in vain, nor turn away from his replacement for that fearful images and dreams you made. You would just welcome it wholeheartedly.

And I hope you're here now with me in that acceptance, in that willingness, the Holy Spirit understands the means you made by which you would attain what is forever unattainable. He understands all those defense mechanisms, all that resistance, all that justification to be right in limited thought form. And if you offer them to him, see here's an action

of mind. Here's the invitation. If you offer them to him, he will employ the means you made for exile to restore your mind to where it truly is at home. Thank you, And he gives us here now the clear understanding of it and recognition in Christ's mind from knowledge where he has been placed by God. The Holy Spirit calls to you. Here is that call we were talking about. The Holy Spirit calls to you to let forgiveness rest upon your dreams and be restored to sanity and peace

of mind. Remember when we were starting out with the second part, what is forgiveness? And we remember that what you thought your brother did to you has not occurred. That is what we want to remember. That is what we have to acknowledge, to recognize literally, to look through the appearance of things that fake making up a story. We have to look through that, and that is forgiveness to be restored to sanity and peace of mind. Without forgiveness,

will you trink? Dreams remain to terrify you, and the memory of all your father's love will not return to signify the end of dream The end of all dreams has come, except your father's gifts. Except your father's gift. It is a call from love to love that it be but itself. Except your father's gift. It is a call from love to love that it be but itself. Thank thank you. And the Holy Spirit is his gift by which the quietness of heaven is restored to God's

beloved son. Would you refuse to take the function of completing God when all he wills is that you be complete? You would not, and you know it as well as I do. Resistance in that sense is futile. The light will win because it is already in your mind and already remembered. It has one in that sense, and you

are part of that. You are a winner when you say yes to that, When you accept you function as the Holy Spirit ascribes it and tells you about and gives you his plan and shows you exactly what to do, where to go, and how to facilitate that plan for your own salvation. And that is what is the Holy

Spirit in our own personnel experience. So I'm gonna you hear the song and know you well because this is the Holy Spirit that knows you very well, and you have invited so that you can rejoice in Him and with Him in that knowledge, in that knowing thyself, which is really the prerequisite being on your churn me home to know yourself express I know.

Father, your son is perfect, Your son? Who is your son? I am the son of God. I'm perfect, Father, Your son is perfect. When I think that I'm hurt in any way, it is because I have forgotten who I am and that I am as you created me. Originally,

Jesus has actually held that in. He used for that desird person the form of de third person, and so he was in that third He said, actually, when he thinks, when the son of God thinks that he's hurt, right, then in any way, it is because he has forgotten who he is and that he is as you created him. Your thoughts can only bring me happiness. Let's go back into the first person. It is actually a little bit stronger when we are talking and using it of our

own experience. Your thoughts, father, my creator, can only bring me happiness. If ever I'm said or hurt or ill, I have forgotten what you think and put my little meaningless ideas in place of where your thoughts belong and where they are. I can be hurt by nothing but my thoughts. The thoughts I think with you can only bless the thoughts I think with you alone are true. I will not hurt myself to day, for I am

far beyond all pain. My father placed me safe in heaven watching over me, and I would not attack the son he laughs, for what he laughs is also mine to laugh. I can be heard by nothing but my thoughts. In other words, I can only make up my mind and pretend by my own power of mind that I could be hurt, and it has nothing to do with anybody or anything in this world. There are later on in this mind training some lessons which will just express

the same idea I'm affected only by my thoughts. That will be Lesson three hundred thirty eight, or before Lesson three hundred twenty five, that all things I think I see reflect ideas. Right. But I want to show you that already in that beginning of that mind training, we have come strongly about that acceptance that there is only our mind, and that it is just about our own mind. In Lesson sixteen, for example, I have no neutral thoughts. He expresses very clearly that everything you see is the

result of your thoughts. Everything you see, and that not just outside yourself in that world objective word but of course also everything you see within you. And there's no exception to this fact. Thoughts are not big or little, powerful or weak. They are merely true or false. And that was already very early on expressed in Lesson seventeen. He would say then that it is always the thought that comes first, despite the temptation to believe that it

is the other way around. And another week after that, in Lessen twenty three, I can escape from the world I see by giving up attach thoughts, also showing us very clearly that it is those attack sorts that give the problem and make up the problem. It is if the cause of the world you see is attack thoughts, he mentions, then you must learn that it is these thoughts which you do not want. And in less than a few days after that twenty six which states that

my tech sorts attacking my invulnerability. Again, nothing except your thoughts can attack you, Nothing except your thoughts can make you think you are vulnerable, and nothing except your thoughts can prove to you this is not so. Again, I can be heard by nothing but my thoughts, and I have some more examples for you. And the Lesson one hundred and thirty two. The key lesson I lose the

word from all I saw it was. He would say, believe is powerful indeed, and the thoughts you hold are mighty, and delusions are as strong in the effect as is the truth. And you know how it continues. You know, a medman thinks that the world he sees is real and doesn't doubt it, nor can he be swayed by

questioning his thoughts effects. It is but when the sauce is raised to question, that the hope of freedom comes to him at last, And in less than one fifty two we had a whole paragraph dedicated to that causation of thought. For all that we experience in as human beings, that doesn't let us feel happy. No one can suffer loss unless it be his own decision, and no one suffers pain except his choice elects this state for him. And no one can grieve, no fear, no think him

sick unless these are the outcomes that he wants. And no one dies without his own consent. Nothing occurs but represents you wish, and nothing is omitted that you choose. Here's your word, completing all details. Here's its whole reality for you, And it is only here salvation is and that is really like an introduction into a miracle minded offering that be expressed in a simple way. second section. I'm responsible for what I see. I choose the feelings I experience, and I decide upon the goal I would achieve, and everything that seems to happen to me I ask for and receivers I've asked also a clear expression that it is all depending on my thoughts. And right in the beginning he clarifies for us completely clear that projection makes perception, and the world you see is what you gave it, nothing more than that you know how you think it. Really, that is what it is.

And further on, he says that as a man thinks, so does he perceive. And we have heard it many many times, right, And I'm just going to repeat here once again and preach to the choir, right. But it is for myself and my own remembrance, and I am grateful to hear those wonderful, glorious words of my awakening. As a man think, so does he perceive. If therefore, seek not to change the world, but choose to change your mind about the world. Perception is a result and

not a cause. You see, the thought comes first. We are causing everything in ourselves, for the entire seemingly apparent world, within our own mind, exactly as we think. And if I feel hurt, or if I see somebody being heard, has the same thought at its basis. It is by the same attack thoughts cost. And that is what we change now and led to be changed now. One more sentence further down, damnation. Damnation is your judgment on yourself,

and this you will project upon the world. See it as stamped see the world as damped, and all you see is what you did to hurt the son of God. If you behold disaster and catastrophe, you try to crucify him. You tried to crucify your brother. You tried to crucify the son of God. You tried to demonstrate that you yourself would still be on the cross and would be subject of crucifixion. You would demonstrate in that way that the crucifixion has a reality and the value in itself.

But Jesus corrects that for us and says, the only value that crucifixion has is to teach love, because this is what you are. It is the message actually that love is the only reas reality. And that's why we are sticking with the coss of miracles. That's why we greet this world of Bring it on. You are going home in me, through me, And if you see holiness and hope, you joined the will of God to set him free. There is no choice that lies between these

two decisions. Here you have it. Let's finish up with reading once more. The Lesson of today. I can be heard by nothing but my thoughts. Lesson two hundred and eighty one. Father, your son is perfect your son is perfect. When I think that I'm hurt in any way, it is because I have forgotten forgotten who I am, and that I am as you created me. Your thoughts can

only bring me happiness. If ever I am sad or hurt or ill, I have forgotten what you think and put my little, meaningless ideas in place of where your thoughts belong and where they are. I can be hurt by nothing but my thoughts. The thoughts I think with you, I think with God, can only bless, can only bless. The thoughts I think with you alone are true. I will not hurt myself today, for I am far beyond

or pain. My Father placed me safe in heaven watching over me, and I would not attack the son he loves, for what he loves is also mind to love. I can be heard by nothing but my thoughts. Just remember, in that application of the lesson and taking responsibility, the change of mind occurs and we will see a completely different word. The truth is, we are not here anymore.
