Looking on good morning, Good morning, good morning, I welcome you the lesson of the day. We are to less than one hundred and thirty four. Let's remind ourselves and say, together, let me perceive forgiveness as it is. Let me see forgiveness as it is. And the idea of forgiveness
definitely is one of the most cherished ideas through this course in miracles. And of course the more we look at that, we can immediately see that it is because I didn't remember correctly how to forgive and what forgiveness means, that I first of all needed a course in miracles. It is because in Miracleus will which will provide me the ability to see forgiveness in a true sense.
And we will look at that before we start out with the text of the lesson, as Jesus Christ is giving it to us now, just as a reminder from where we are coming on the one hundred thirty four stay in those different sequences as I call it, or series of twenty lessons or the first ones where fifty lessons. And already in the first fifty lessons we were at
the idea that God is the love in which I forgive. It set the space completely clearly, actually in what energy we accomplish that action of mind and come to that experience of where we directed to and leading to to oneness, right to oneness of mind, to oneeness of self. So it is the love of God where this is occurring, and not in my own little human mind I'm carrying around for over ten thousand years and pretend as if I would
forgive but in truth holding grievances, or I would not be here. You know, that is an admission I have to make every day, every moment if I really want to get out of this place today. And now I cannot come in here and say, well, I have solved my problem because I've read enough of ideas about forgiveness that and you're laughing, but that's still
not enough. You know, it is an experience. It has to be a recognition of how he says it in the you know, there's a whole sequence then in the second part where it is about acquisition of that true knowledge and of that through perception, and he says in that introduction of the Lessons one twenty one to one thirty, you know that forgiveness is to recognize that what my rather did to me seemingly did to me what I perceived, what
I observed right, hasn't happened or has not occurred, he says. And then there comes a sentence which really sums up what we will review and practice into today's lessons. He says. Then it doesn't baden sense, It does not baden sense and make them real. It sees there was no sin. It sees and recognizes there was no sin. Now, of course, that
already would need a new understanding of what sin means. And we know from from the teachings of the master teacher of Jesus' mind himself, that we're talking here about an archery term in Aramaic kata called which means of the mark right. Like a guy who is shooting his error to the target and he misses the target. I obviously have missed the target to go home, I obviously have missed the target to recognize my true self in you. And therefore I've
been given a second chance to practice forgiveness. And that second chance is offered me every moment through everything, no matter if it is a very painful conflict or experience, or it is a very loving and seeming happily occurrent it's the same opportunity to recognize that actually none of this has occurred, which means I have not occurred on time space and nobody really wants to admit that, but
it is true. It is true. And then we have proceeded in the second sequence of the sixties most like forgiveness is my function the light of the world, for example sixty two, and let me not forget my function.
And already many many of these lessons have directed us, and even giving and receiving, we recognized we are actually talking about that action and that idea of forgiving, and we started this sequence of the one hundred twenty one to one hundred forty is forgiveness is the key to happiness, and forgiveness offers me everything I want and more right so welcome in another idea of really now, kind of looking to a reason, never on a reasonable lever that forgiveness has to
be something else than what we were carying with our as an understanding of how he calls it. Here also badening, badening in with an idea of still holding sin real or maintaining things sin. Yeah. See. Sometimes, of course we are so involved with with that connection and communication with God we completely forget, and for goodness sake, we forget. We forget from where we
are coming from, from which mindset we are coming from. And at certain points when he makes that differentiation and leads us to dru forgiveness, it's good to remember again that I'm actually coming from an eye for an eye and the dooce for it those. Okay, That's where I'm coming from. You have done this to me, you son of it be, and I'm gonna get even with you and will show you. You know, that's the human condition.
We're coming from complete separation and from a complete determination to maintain the separation, now just with a little you know, like maintained in a cloak of spirituality, you know, because now I've accumulated a little bit of some magical
tricks. You know. You know, we all know it, you know, the longer we are actually being with Jesus, And in this course we know it perfectly well when in moments of devastation that are completely unnecessary, but we know it in those moments that we haven't accomplished anything in time space unless there's a full integration of ourselves. That means all thoughts that are ever made up and fabricated in my human conceptual mind as myself, and let it stand.
They are representing it my word which I used. The Light and love of Heaven needs now to be integrated in a sense of I have to take them with me back home in heaven. The Drusies, they are already back in heaven. The Drusies, they never were anything except the light in its entirety. There were never anything in its limited demonstration of bodies and images of the world. Never ever nothing. He calls it clearly in the cause meaninglessness,
he calls it. And that's why forgiveness is that practice and that action to look through, literally looking through with the power of mind through what I made up, yeah, as illusionary imaituary thought form. And you know, I can choose if I want to have a great experience and enjoy myself in that or if I think that this is kind of sacrificial practice. And but
you know, we don't want to be ridiculous at this point. The best is to get over myself, right, which means to let it go whatever it is, you know, and remember what is really present and can really be seen here and now. And that is a full acknowledgment that what I see here as form association is not there at all, cannot be seen at all, And you know the moment I need that regularly in my daily practice
and my daily affairs. You know, it goes in my mind more like this, Am I doing here something that that I would feel that there's something quote real going on? Would that would have again some effects on me and my remembrance. I'm actually not doing here anything, no matter what it is. Right now, I'm not doing anything. My mind is just open in that communication with his mind listening actually to a voice that has no correspondence to
the world whatsoever. And that's not the doing. And therefore, you know, there comes a relaxation in you know, if I remember I'm not doing anything here, I also remember I'm not here at all as a limited form of mind. And that's a deeper relaxation into what is present here, which is the love of God, which is the peace of God. And this is a ah, it is nothing else than that God. Am I great
for it? And I don't need to do that. And I heard that in one of your demonstrations to Eric, thank you so much of being here. Now this is a really yes, Oh, this is good. You know this is good that I'm not really doing anything here. And I think that's the only reason why we put music in between between the talk, and it's just a reminding me I'm actually not really doing anything here, all right,
and let's just put some music in here. I have here. I have no idea, but Viennese sounds is good for me as a bords Cai. So up, stick, sun stick, stay, thank you so much. Those are the words sounds of Johann Strauss, one of my contemporaries of the last century. A reel. You look very content well after a meal at the milk pow of Aerica, could it not be? That's a state
of forgiveness right there. And you know, like what just came in my mind listening to these words or say is because that practice is not, you know, not for the first time. I'm trying to practice coming to that
reconnection with God. But this time it is different in the sense of Jesus Christ forces me literally under quotes to admit that I'm the cause of what I see, no matter if I say or if I determine I'm right, Because I might be even right right in the appearance, but I'm still wrong in truth right, because being right and defending to be right is by itself in itself, a state of separation. And I'm just starting out the lesson with
the last sentence. I'm supposed to carry along all through the day, and I will try to remember this one sentence the best I can throughout today. No one is crucified alone, and yet no one can enter heaven by himself. No one is crucified alone, and yet no one can enter Heaven can
go home by himself. That shows me that it needs an action of mind, that shows me the unification of myself, that I split up and fragmented, right, because if anyone is crucified, it will be me, and it needs my remembrance as an action of forgiveness that this has not occurred, right, or isn't there at all. And on the other hand, no one I cannot ender heaven by myself means I have to take you with me. I have to take all of my thoughts with me in that experience of
going home, And that I think makes all the difference. And that's why at some point we say we have no words anymore, or words cannot really talk about what we what we are teaching here it does go beyond the words, and so Jesus just gives us a framework of words so that we can enter into that experience without defense. And it is quite an interesting section of those now in the one thirties that we were just for a couple of days really looking at. Okay, I will not value what is valueless, and
the word is actually offering me my own valuelessness. And now I say no, thank you, you know, and really go beyond this world. That shows me the real world and my real connection with God. And now from today's lesson on let me perceive forgiveness as it is tomorrow, we will be very clearly directed to if I defend myself, I'm attacked, you know.
And that's a simultaneous action. When I've one thirty six says, it talks about sickness because a mind in defense in separation is sick that's only sickness in the mind. Sickness is a defense against the truss. And from there it goes into healing again and shows us when I'm healed, I'm not healed alone and heaven one thirty eight is that decision I must make and I will accept at one month for myself. You know, it's like quite interestingly set up.
It's the longest lessons of the entire workbook which we are proceeding into. All right, so lessen one thirty four because we have also twice a day, two practice periods of each fifteen minutes, and we are already in truth in that practice. Now, if you'll really look at your mind, you are already in that clear view and openness of mind of acknowledging. Okay, there is actually no word here. Let us review the meaning of forgive.
Right, there's a meaning of forgive. Let us review that meaning of forgive, for it is apt to be distorted and to be perceived as something that entails an unfair sacrifice of righteous rough, a gift unjustified and undie served, and the complete denial of the truth. Well I kind of sumped it up with an eye for an eye and the tooth for those. Yeah, but it is there are always the justification, and you see it, no matter what point of view, any path of political party or world view is taking,
it is always set in separation. There's always the enemy out there. There's always the evil out there that needs to be fought and overcome, you know, and extinguished. By you know, as if there would be a solution by annihilating a bad of my own mind that is actually nothing. Yeah, in such a view, forgiveness must be seen as mere. He calls it an eccentric folly, and this caused a bear to rest salvation on a whim. He calls it again, this is a twisted view. This twisted
view of what forgiveness means is easily corrected. Did you hear that it is easily corrected when you can accept the fact that now he uses the word baden but is not asked for what is true? Well, butadened and badening in English, I looked it up, can be used in quite different ways, you know. And you can use it in a way also of an understanding
of forgiveness and of a true action of forgiveness. But in the world it is mostly understood you are badoned because you were seventy years in jail and now you're going to be released, So you're badoned of the sentence that you were suffering, or you I badon you. Well, if I don't understand what you said, what do I say? Beg your butdon it's also a kind
of I'm excusing myself for not being completely aligned. And actually I would let you in the repetition, let you show me what the true meaning of our coming together is. That is actually quite an interesting perspective. But you know I'm immediately offering another chance for that alignment. It must be limited to what this falls. It is irrelevant to everything except delusions. Truth is God's creation, and to Baden that is meaningless. Right you heard that truth is God's
creation and to Baden that is meaningless. Or truth belongs to him, belongs to God, reflects his laws, and radiates his love. Any questions about that, I think it speaks for itself. It's pretty clear. Right does this need How can you forgive the sinless and eternally benign? Well, it's
obvious again this does not baden. I only need baden or forgiveness, because obviously I have replaced the memory of truths with my meanings of illusions and believe illusions have a reality or a real effect on me, which would make sin real. Instead of understanding, this is just a thought of the mark right of the target of truths. Next paragraph. The major difficulty that you find in genuine forgiveness on your bad is he says you still believe you must forgive
the truth and not illusions. Interesting, there's actually a concept in my mind that believes I must forgive the truth and not illusions, which indicates also there must be a sense of guilt in the mind. You conceive of Baden as a vain attempt to look past what is there, to overlook the truth in an unfounded effort to deceive yourself by making an illusion true. This twisted viewpoint but reflects the hold that the idea of sin retains as yet upon your mind
as you regard yourself. Next sentence, again, he says, you think your sins are real because you think your sins are real, because you still believe you think your sins are real. You look on Baden as deception, for it is impossible you think of sin as true and not believe forgiveness is a lie? Does is forgiveness? Really? But the sin, like all
the rest, see, that is now a very valuable reasonable idea. Yeah, the moment I can understand that I'm actually not understanding that sin is off the mark and now needs the correction, He tells me, you actually put it on the same level. It's the same to you. You really think it is nothing else than another thin, same category. Yeah, it says the truth is false and smiles on the corrupt as if they were as blameless as the grass, as white as snow. It is delusional in what it
thinks it can accomplish. It would see as right, the plainly wrong, the low sum as the good. So are really incredible expressions of showing me how twisted and that has been dealt with in the human conceptual mind. Baden is no escape in such a view. It merely is a further sign that sin is unforgivable at best. To be concealed, denied, or called another name for baden is a treachery for truth. And you know, like just look at the word and what you see and what information you get, because
that is your mind, you know. And whenever there is the expression of bardening, someone still on the basis that guilt is justified and is intact. You know, while I'm gonna bardon you, you know, or I'm the judge or I'm just your friend, I'm gonna barden you. But you will still suffer of the sin you committed. You will still receive the just punishment that you deserve. That is how the world thinks about forgiveness. You know, that is kind of well, we bandon you because the law is,
you know, you were seventy years in jail anyway or no matter. You know, well, at some point I recognize that it doesn't it's that doesn't feel so good to hold on on the grievance anymore. You know, I have all you know, there's already all over cancer and whatever sickness in the expression. You know, I might just band you, right, but you still deserve the punishment. And you know from whom from where the punishment is supposed to come, God is going to be used to punish you. That
that's how they're taching it in the established religions. You know. That's why I'm so grateful for this cause in mirracle, because it just cuts it all off, you know, saying if you think like this, you know, let's go for the correction right now. That's my gratitude to this lesson because it shows me very clearly how that has to occur, that correction in my mind, because I'm coming from that mindset. Of course, here it is
guilt cannot be forgiven. You know, if you sin, your guilt is ever lasting and that's really the definition of sin, and sin is like said, it's fixed. You know. It's like so a definition of yourself fixed. You cannot escape, and therefore the only escape could only be what that. Of course, that's what the ego teaches and puts up there. You know, you could only temporarily escape through this, and that's all the ego wants that you. You're supposed to believe, not anymore. Thank you,
thank you, thanks for being here. And those who are forgiven from the view their sins are real are pitifully mocked and twice contempt first by themselves for what they think they did, and once again by those who butaden them. Yeah, because that badening is not a true experience of release or forgiveness, of joining of oneness. What do I need for that? Tell me a holy instant? We need a holy instant I have to offer to myself a
holy instant. That's in the holy instant, the union of mind, the oneness of mind is recognized the first time in that human that are a human
state of mind that I really consciously realized a holy instant. You know, I was just crying like a baby, you know, because I immediately I felt, oh my God, this is all just me, you know, and and it's really true that it's what I was reading it that I'm just doing it to myself, you know, you know, to feel our one self and the pain that we left out there in that seeming reflection of our of our own self in the world, you know, comes back and is
felt and unifies with our own self and mind. And that is what the Holy instant offers, and that is released and that is what we right now experience, isn't it for thank thank yeah, And we see immediately there's only light in the mind, you know, incredible light, incredible light. Thank you, and thank you for that opportunity to practice that. And I'm like,
I need more than fifteen minutes. Yeah yeah, m hmmm. Let's stand and now see how Jesus goes with that in uh in this lesson to show us what forgiveness really offers us and what it is all about it. And the first says it is since unreality that makes forgiveness natural and holy holy saying, a deep relief. Here you have it, a deep relief to those who offer it, a quiet blessing where it is received. It does not countenance illusions, but collect them lightly with a little laugh. Okay,
don't forget to smile. There's a little laugh, and gently, gently lays them at the feet of truth. Gently we are lay them at the feet of truth. And there and there, and there and there and there they disappear entirely, they disappear. That is theny good news. You are in a full recognition that your illusions of your own making disappear in that light you
experience. They disappear entirely. They disappear in his life. Forgiveness is the only thing that stands for truth in the illusions of the world, the only the only thought, the only idea. It sees here, it is they are not thingness. It sees there are nothingness, and looks straight through that thousand forms. And let's practice that now. You know, whatever you see is that power of mind. You can look straight through it. It's really
just a hologram of reflections of light, nothing else. We're looking through that into the light, through the thousand forms in which they may appear, may appear. It looks on lies, but it is not deceived. It doesn't heed the self accusing shrieks of sinners mad with guilt. They see it's the guilt that drives the mind to madness and into that kind of thought system as he reviewed it before, where guilt is real, where the sin is fixed
and unforgivable. No more. It looks on them with quiet eyes and merely says to them, my brother, what you think is not the truth. That's simple, okay, Now say that to your word, my brother, word, what you think is not the truths. The strength of Baden is its honesty, which is so uncorrupted that it's sees solutions as solutions. It's sees solutions as solutions, not as truss It is because of this that it becomes. He calls it the undeceiver in the face of lies. He calls
it the great restorer of the simple truth. By its ability to overlook what is not there, it opens up the way to truth which has been blocked by dreams of guilt. It opens up the way to truth which has been blocked by dreams of guilt. Now, now are you free to follow in the way your true forgiveness opens up to you. For if one brother has
received this gift of you, the door is open to yourself. And you remember it was just three days ago, in less than one thirty one, where he talked about you know that door, and you we are supposed to open the door and actually see what is behind there. And we are seeing that light of forgiveness behind the door, and recognize that door is truly wide opening. There is a very simple way to find the door to drove forgiveness
and perceive it here it is open, wide in welcome. When you feel that you attempted to accuse someone of sin in any form, to not here an instruction. See that's an instruction. Do not allow your mind to dwell on what you think he did. I'm supposed to not allow my mind to dwell on what I think he did, for that is self deception, and self deception is a form of death. It's an idea of death. Ask instead, would I accuse myself of doing this? Okay, let's practice,
ask yourself, would I accuse myself of doing this? And now he gives you. Then also you should think of a brother, of course, or of anybody in your mind. And thus, when you see alternatives for choice in terms that render choosing meaningful, and keep your mind as free of guilt and pain as God himself intended it to be, and as it is in truth. It is but lies that would contemn in truth is Now he comes in with a new term, But that's a term really representing what we are
in truth. Say to me, innocence in truth is innocence. The only thing there is inno sense is the only thing that is. Forgiveness stands between illusions and the truth, between the world you see and that which lies beyond, between the hell of guilt and Heaven's gath across the bridge you see. Forgiveness is the bridge, a bridge as powerful as love, as God's love which laid its blessing on it. Are all dreams of evil and of hatred
and the attack brought silently to truth. They are brought silently to truth. They are not kept to swell and bluster and to terrify the foolish dreamer who believes in them. He has been gently wakened from his dream by understanding what he thought he saw again was never there, was never there, And now now he cannot feel that all escape has been denied to him. He doesn't
have to fight to save himself. And this is really my own and chesus invitation to the world, to everyone who is still defending and holding up that separation, in that righteousness of I'm right, and out there are the bad guys, you know, like you know I'm talking here to all our presidents and all our our politicians, you know myself as that bad trying to defend a security and the peace here instead of going straight to heaven where it is
he doesn't We do not have to fight to save ourselves. He doesn't have to kill the dragons. To kill the dragons, which he thought pursued him. No need he erect the heavy walls of stone and iron, those he thought would make him safe. He can remove the bunderous and heavy and useless armor made for what to chain his mind to fear and misery? Wow, to chain the mind to fear and misery. That's all that such a mindset
does that fights the evil out there. His step is light, and as he lifts his foot to stride ahead, as star is left behind to point the way to those who follow him. Forgiveness must be practiced, for the word cannot perceive its meaning, nor provide a guide to teach you its beneficence. There is no thought in all the world that leads to any understanding of the laws it follows, nor dead thought, decapitalized God thought that it reflects.
It is as alien to the world as ea is your own reality, and yet it joins your mind with the reality in you to day with practice true forgiveness, that the time here it is of joining be no more delayed, for we would meet with our reality in freedom and in peace. Our practicing becomes the footsteps lighting up the way for all our brothers who will follow us to the reality. We share with them that this may be accomplished.
Let us and hear instructions how we canna practice that today. Let us give a quote of an hour twice today and spend it with the Guide again, the true guide from out of time. Spend it with the Guide who understands the meaning of forgiveness and was sent to us to teach. To teach it, let us ask of him, let me perceive forgiveness as it is. Let us ask that of him. Let me perceive forgiveness as it is. And then choose one brother as he will direct, and catalog his quote unquote.
Since as one by one they cross your mind, as one by one they cross your mind, choose one brother as he will direct, and be certain not to dwell on any one of them on any of those sins. But realize that you're using his quote unquote offenses. But to save the world from all ideas of sin, to save the word from all ideas of sin. Briefly consider all the evil things you thought of him, and each time, ask yourself, would I condemn myself for doing this? And see before
we had would I accuse myself for doing this? Now it is would I condemn myself for doing this? Let him be freed. That's an action of mind. Let him be freed from all the thoughts you had of sin in him. And now now you are prepared for freedom. And if you have been practicing thus fine willingness and honesty, you will begin to sense a lifting up, a lightening of weight across your chest, a deep and certain feeling
of relief. We feel we're feeling now a sense of lifting up, a lightening of weight across our chest, a deep and certain feeling of relief. And the time remaining should be given to experiencing the escape from all the heavy change chains you sought to lay upon your brother, but were laid actually upon yourself. A saying forgiveness. We're gonna finish up this lesson now. Forgiveness should be practiced through the day, for there will still be many times when
you forget its meaning and attack yourself. And when this occurs, allow your mind to see through this ilusion, as you tell yourself, and you can speak quietly for yourself after me. Let me perceive forgiveness as it is. Let me perceive forgiveness as it is. Would I accuse myself of doing this? Would I accuse myself of doing this? I will not lay this chain upon myself. I will not lay this chain upon myself. And in everything you do, remember no one is crucified alone, and yet no one can
enter heaven by himself. No one is crucified alone, and yet no one can enter heaven by himself. Let me perceive forgiveness as it is. I thank you with all my heart for being here listening, tuning, in joining with his mind, because this is an offer of Jesus Christ himself. His teaching is love and forgiveness, isn't it? And we are here now to practice and to lift that, to live up to it. And now it's not a concept, it's an idea in my mind. I'm supposed to live
up to it. And the experience in its beneficence and its laugh, It's peace. It offers me no thank you. Bye bye. You have been listening to voice from Heaven live in the Miracle Sealing Center. Remember that God's voice speaks to you all through the day. That God goes with you wherever you go, and that God is the mind with which you think. God bless us everyone,
