Hello, good morning, and welcome to today's workbook, lesson in the in the Course of Miracles. And wow, what a lesson it is. It's it's very much an integral part of all the lessons we've been doing in this series, particularly of yesterday's lesson and tomorrow's lesson. So and it's an extraordinary lesson because we are dealing with a particular idea. And there is a word that is used repeatedly in the titles of these lessons, and of course that
word is truth. Now we already know that in this awakening, in this occurrence within our mind where we awaken to the light that we truly are, that it is tantamount to knowing the truth, which sets us free. And only the truth will set you free, because the truth is God, the truth is life, the truth is what is so. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall set you free or will make you free, whatever, depending on what translation that you're using. And so yesterday we
decided to be still and listen to the truth. And we discovered in listening that when we speak about listening, we're not really talking about sounds, peripheral sounds that we pick up with the body's ears, although that's not excluded. We are really waiting, if you like. And again I use the word very cautiously, but we are expecting, we are anticipating and experience. And then way I say I use the word waiting cautiously is that waiting appears to
be something that happens in time. So it would seem that we are waiting for something that hasn't happened yet but will happen. And that's really not what we're speaking about here. The very act of listening, of truly listening, which is a stepping back, a surrendering of the conceptual fake identity. The very act of surrender is listening. And we will find we'll discover this tomorrow, to give and to receive our one in truth. And we asked yesterday
what does it mean to give and receive? And we discovered that really giving and receiving directs to a mindful action. And you can tell I'm really struggling with words here because we are speaking of an experience, and it's an experience that's revelatory, and what is revealed is ourself. What is revealed is the light that we are, and there's no separation between us and that, and
that's why it's kind of a little crazy to talk about it. The great thing about these lessons, though, is that we are encouraged to actually plunge headlong into the experience and we we, we know, we discover, we are revealed, and then explanations and words really are totally unnecessary because here you are. Here, we are as one self, We are oneself united with our creator, and the purpose of this exercise is really to be the oneself,
to know the oneself. Remember, know thyself. That is the admonition of the teacher to the student that is inscribed on the gate of the oracle. You cannot really enter into the uh oracle without knowing thyself because the oracle is you. Doesn't really have to do with prognostication, because there is no time anyway. Before we go rambling off, let's take a moment and enjoy the moment. Enjoy this moment that we ascend to the Father by giving him
ascendence in our mind. And the song I'm going to play is a straight of a path. It's absolutely direct. Truth is true and nothing else is true, and truth will correct all errors in my mind because it is true and nothing else is true. That's just the fact of the
matter. There is a tendency to think of illusions and misperception and errors as also true. That's not the case. Nothing unreal exists. And it's all very well for me to say that we have mastered those words, we recite them, But it's quite another thing to know that within yourself and to know that consistently and not be fooled by the mirages and the hallucinations and the idea
of a separate self. And so that's the purpose of this, of this workbook lesson and all the workbook lessons that we're doing, to immerge from this slumber, to awaken from this dream. Truth will correct all errors in my mind. That's less than one oh seven of the workbook of a Course in Miracles. Welcome, here we go. What can correct illusions but the truth? And what are errors but illusions that remain unrecognized for what they are.
Where truth has entered, errors disappear, they merely vanish, leaving not a trace by which to be remembered. They are gone because without belief, they have no life. Without belief, they have no life. So yesterday, when we did the lesson, let me be still and listen to the truth that literally, and I mean that continues now. I mean, the lessons don't stop just simply because you know something has happened on the calendar or the sun has risen, because it's an action of your mind. It's a mindful
action. So let me be still and listen to the truth. Quite literally, as you discovered, is about holding on to nothing. It's letting go all ideas you came with, all the beliefs that you're hanging on to, all the nonsense that you thought. Now we've been doing this from day one. But it is that action of being still and listening to the truth because in that stillness, in that listening and that letting go of the beliefs and the stuff that you hold onto, they are gone. You hold them by
belief, And this is what we're seeing right now. They are gone because without belief, they have no life. Without belief, your idea of a separate self is not anything. Where is the darkness when the light has come, And so they disappear to nothing ness, returning whence they came, which is nowhere, because they have no source. From dust to dust, they come and go for only truth remains. And so you begin to see this now within your own mind, you begin to You begin to experience yourself in
a different way, in a different light. You begin to experience the freedom that the truth engenders by being what it is. The truth does make you free because freedom is what you are, and truth is what freedom is. You are the holy son of God himself. You are created in freedom because there isn't anything that can buy mind you. There isn't anything that's not true. There isn't anything that's not truth. Nothing unreal exists. Wow, that's
real. And so you begin to see that without your holding on you're completely free. You've been binding yourself by your own ideas. No more. Huh. Truth will correct all errors in your mind. It has already done so, because the errors don't exist in truth. So this is a new revelation. It's a new realization, it's a new way of being. It's a new experience of yourself unbound. Wow, unchained melody. I wish I could play that, but I can't because it's protected by copyright. Okay, let's
continue. Can you imagine this isn't hypothetical, guys, this is now. This is directing to an experience, to an action of your mind. Now, can you imagine? Yes, you can Can you imagine what a state of mind without illusions is? How would it feel? Here we go, Try to remember when there was a time, perhaps a minute, maybe even less, when nothing came to interrupt your peace, when you were certain you were loved and safe. Then try to picture what it would be like to
have that moment be extended to the end of time and to eternity. Then let the sense of quiet that you felt be multiplied one hundred times and then be multiplied another hundred more. Wow, Let's take a moment, shall we, and let the sense of quiet that we felt when we were completely at peace. We'll let that sense of quiet be multiplied a hundred times and then a hundred times more right here, right now, within our mind. So you sho as so your busy, Please don't show more sweep reading, do

Without illusions, there could be no
fear, no doubt, and no attack. When truth has come, all pain is over, for there is no room for transitory thoughts and dead ideas to linger in your mind. Truth occupies your mind completely, liberating you from all beliefs in the ephemeral. They have no place because the truth has come, and they are nowhere. They cannot be found, for truth is everywhere forever now. When truth has come, it does not stay a while to disappear or change to something else. It does not shift and alter in its
form, nor come and go, and go and come again. It stays exactly as it always was, to be depended on in every need, and trusted with a perfect trust. In all the seeming difficulties and the doubts that the appearances the world presents in gender, they will merely blow away when truth corrects the errors in your mind. Wow. When truth has come, it harbors on its wings the gift of perfect constancy and love, which does not falter in the face of pain, but looks beyond it steadily and sure.
Yes, there is a certainty that you evolve. There is a confidence that just is always there because you know that God is here and now, and that's a confidence that cannot be shaken. Doesn't matter what the appearances are. It doesn't matter what seems to be going on, because you are literally experiencing yourself on a whole other level in a completely different realm. Has nothing to
do with the fearful image that you made up. When truth has come, it harbors in its wings the gift of perfect constancy and love, which does not falter in the face of pain, but looks beyond it steadily and sure. Here is the gift of healing. For the truth needs no defense, and therefore no attack is possible. Illusions can be brought to truth to be corrected, but the truth stands far beyond illusions and cannot be brought to them to turn them into truth. Truth does not come and go, nor shift
nor change in this appearance now and then. Sorry, it does not have read that completely wrong, excuse me. Truth does not come and go, nor shift nor change in this appearance now and then, now and then in that. In this appearance now and then in that evading capture and escaping grasp, it does not hide what needs to be hidden is not true. What needs to be defended is not true. That's how simple this is. It stands in open light, in obvious accessibility, always in, always everywhere.
Now wow, it is impossible that anyone could seek it truly and would not succeed. It's impossible to seek it truly and not succeed, because the seeking of it is the finding of it. Today belongs to truth. Give truth it's due, and it will give you yours. You were not meant to suffer and to die. Your father wills these dreams be gone, And you know what what your father's will, what your father wills is done. God's will is done. Let truth, your father wills, these dreams be gone,
Let truth correct them all. Wow wow. We do not ask for what we do not have. We merely ask for what belongs to us, that we may recognize it as our own. You are what you have, You have what you are. You cannot have what is not yours. You cannot be what you are not. Today we practice on the happy note of certainty that has been born of truth. The shaky and unsteady footsteps of illusion are not our approach. Today. We are as certain of success as we
are sure we live and hope and breathe and think. We are positive of success because it's already done. Wow, we do not doubt. We walk with truth to day and count on it to enter into all the exercises that we do this day. Oh my, Okay, here we go. Begin by asking him who goes with you, upon this, undertaking that he be in your awareness as you go with him. You are not made of flesh and blood and bone, but were created by the self same thought which gave
the gift of life to him as well. He is your brother and so like to you. Your father knows that you are both the same. It is yourself capital s you ask to go with you, And how could he be absent where you are? Wow? Truth will correct all errors in your mind which tell you you could be apart from him. You speak to him to day and make your pledge to let his function be fulfilled through you. To share his function is to share his joy. His confidence is with you.
As you say, truth will correct all errors in my mind, and I will rest in him who is myself. Then let him lead you gently to the truth, which will envelop you and give you peace so deep and tranquil that you will return to the familiar world reluctantly. Wow. And yet will you be glad to look again upon this world, For you will bring with you the promise of the changes which the truth that goes with you will
carry to the world. They will increase with every gift you give of five small minutes, and the errors that surround the world will be corrected as you let them be corrected in your mind. So let's take a moment. Now, let's take five minutes. Truth will correct all errors in my mind, and I will rest in him who is myself. We're going to let him lead you gently to the truth, which will envelop you and give you peace so deep and tranquil, that you will return to the familiar world reluctantly.
