Chuck and Stacey continue their conversation with voice actor, Chris Fries who shares what gear he has in his home studio and how it has evolved over time. Taking inspiration from his mentor Scott Rummell’s studio, he worked with home studio expert George Whittam, who still helps him keep everything just right. Chris talks about how he rebounded after getting dropped by an LA agent and shows gratitude for Sandie Schnarr of AVO Talent for providing some great opportunities early on in his career. He shares his approach to being versatile in the voiceover business and why he “tweaked” his name to be more in alignment with his branding. Chris explains the mantra he lives by and what mobile gear he takes with him everywhere, even on vacation. He tells the story of how he got signed with top talent manager, Debbie Cope and what he feels are the keys to his success including being ready when the opportunities come to you.
