Episode description

Photographer and frequent National Geographic contributor David Liittschwager joins the podcast to talk about his latest book "Octopus, Seahorse, Jellyfish" and the challenges he faced over years of capturing stunning detailed photographs of very elusive and shy creatures.  During our conversation David talks about growing up in Eugence, Oregon and his early love of photography, how he ended up working for legendary photographer Richard Avedon, and what made him leave the world of commercial photography behind to focus his camera on the natural world and the endless array of subjects it provided him.
