Episode description

We are the product of those that came before us.  Our physical attributes come from our parents.  Our personality traits are largely inherited.  Our behavioral characteristics are mostly environmental.  So to what extent do our parents or the homes we grew up in shape us into the music fanatics and avid record collectors we are today?  Fellow YouTuber Sam St. John joins our host Rob from Northern Revolutions to discuss how our upbringing likely contributed to this clinical condition we all have called record collecting.  Both coming from childhoods enriched and surrounded by music, Rob and Sam reflect on the influences that their parents had on shaping their love of music and how that fed a compulsive addiction to vinyl.  Tune in so you too can say, "It's not my fault, blame my parents".
