Episode description

Vinny is joined by Dr. William Moravits to talk about his book, the Blue Divide: Policing and Race in America. Dr. Moravits, a former police officer and current political science professor, wrote the book on the back end of several high profile, racially charged deaths including Michael Brown and George Floyd.

The two breakdown several chapters from Will's book including how officers and FBI Agents are trained regarding the use of force and the reasoning behind it which is contrary to common knowledge. The two talk about the positive and negative role police body cameras have played in what turned into a national crisis.
