Episode description

My guest today is 12 year Army Veteran June Moss. June says she not only fought in Iraq, but she also fought back here at home battling with PTSD. She’s also struggled with the effects of divorce and homelessness and was featured in Time Magazine’s article “How We’re Failing Our Female Veterans” and in a CNN report on Women and Mother Vets with PTSD - but she found mindfulness and has worked to improve her mental and medical health since and is now working for the Chaplain Service in the Veteran’s Affairs office in Palo Alto.
