#58 Co Hosts Carmen Nazario and Josh Carter Chat

Back from a long break, your co hosts bring their fans up to date on what they've been up to and how they're dealing with the current pandemic. Carmen is happy to report that, although all her employees are working from home, she hasn't had to lay off anyone and is hopeful they can keep everyone employed through the lockdown. Josh has both teenage boys and a young one at home, which seems to be shrinking in size the longer they are all in it! The big question is how long will this continue and how will things be different afterward. Carmen has been tuning OUT the mass media news, which has brought her anxiety level down; not bad advice. Josh compares the current situation with polio. At one time, it was a world-wide epidemic, but a cure was found and a vaccine was produced and now polio is rarely encountered. The same thing should happen with COVID-19. And it's put their family closer to each other as they figure out how to spend time together and connect with others they haven't seen in a while even though it's being done digitally. Carmen's business is software, so they aren't shut down with everyone working from home. However, some of the customers they serve have been impacted. For instance, they have aerospace clients who are definitely hit by the lockdown.
