The Difference 5 | DIFFERING TO

In our final talk of the series, Mark addresses why we should pursue holiness. Well first of all, God invites us to it! Holiness is the spectacular mission and end for which Jesus came into the world, and pursuing holiness is an outworking of our response to Jesus. Mark also asks, what does pursuing holiness involve, and what does it not involve? As we read the bible it becomes apparent that the only way we can become holy is, not through our own strength to abstain from this or that, or our independent ideas to 'clock up' good deeds, but it is by 'abiding' in Christ. That is, respond in agreement to Jesus call, word and instruction.
