Where did we get the idea that God loves everybody? It’s not from our words, but our actions. That’s why it’s not surprising that we may be criticised for what we believe, but we should be famous for how we behave. But are we willing to pay the cost?

Mark kicks off a new series calling us to true holiness, he lays the foundation by asking, 'What is Holiness?' Although we may think of holiness as a way of behaving – it's actually far more, it’s our position in Christ Jesus, set apart for Him. As we live out of that place, and as we step out in obedience, we walk in Holiness.
In the final talk of the series Wendy talks about worship; who we worship, why we worship and how we worship. She considers Webster's (1828) definition, 'to honour with extravagant love and extreme submission' and how key it is to our relationship with God.
Denise talks why and how everyone can participate in building God’s Kingdom. She highlights that our own character, personal experiences and individual relationship with Jesus means that we each have a unique role to play and the joy there is in ‘doing the stuff’ with God.
In this talk Richard looks at the approach we take to compassion, addressing the question, "When someone hears you’re from Vineyard, what do they assume about you?" Our hope is that we are a place for the poor, we are a people of compassion, and we carry with us a promise of peace.
The Holy Spirit is God Himself, part of the Trinity. He existed before creation, was instrumental in creation, and has continued to move powerfully through the centuries. He was active in birthing the ministry of Jesus and the early Church, and He empowers us today as Christians.
Mark kicks off a new series entitled Our Values, starting with The Kingdom – God’s rule and reign. In Mark 1:14-15, Jesus declared that ‘the time had come’ and that God’s Kingdom ‘was near’, breaking into this world through the coming of Christ. Yet Jesus also spoke of God’s Kingdom in the future, being fully established and consummated when He comes again. We therefore live in the ‘the now and not yet’ of God’s Kingdom, and we embrace this tension and walk in it with obedience and faith.
In this talk Chris Lane talk reflects on Paul’s question to the Ephesian disciples. “Did you receive the Holy Spirit when you believed?” and asks the question, “What about us?”
This is the third talk in our “consequences” series. In this talk, Chris Lane leads us to reflect on the length, depth & breadth of Christ’s redemptive work in us. Drawing on 2 Corinthians 5, Chris then goes on to encourage us to be reconciled to God and to one another.

Finishing the series, Richard talks about how prayer is not meant to feel like leaving a voicemail, but hearing from a God who speaks.
Mark looks at the heart of devotional prayer – a heart-felt response to a God who first loves us. Using Psalm 42, we discover that as the deer pants for the water streams, so we have been created to pant and long after God. It is this longing and desire that overflows in devotional prayer.
