We all know that God commands us to love our neighbour but what does this look like in an increasingly individualistic world? What are some of the prejudices we might hold in our heart that prevent us? and how can we love our communities back to life?
Henry reminds us that Jesus chose in his last teaching to his disciples to liken himself to a vine, where his father is the vinedresser. But what does it look like to abide in the vine, to be tended by the vinedresser and pruned by the word?
How do we respond to Jesus’ invitation to ‘come and have breakfast?’ Looking at the story of Jesus appearing to the disciples and inviting them for breakfast, we learn that Jesus extends the same invitation to us today.

On this Pentecost Sunday, and in the concluding talk of the series, we look at our final name, the name which is above every name, the name of Jesus. As Jesus has revealed the name of the Father, so we are called to reveal the name of Jesus. How? Through the power of the Holy Spirit.
Abba, is a name used by Jesus in the garden of Gethsemane reflecting his intimacy with his Father. Denise unravels the story and how we are invited to have the same intimacy and relationship with God through His Son, Jesus Christ.
‘The Lord is There’ is a name mentioned just once in scripture, but with very significant timing… Israel was in a mess, Jerusalem had been ransacked, the Temple was in ruins and the people were in captivity. It’s at that time God, reveals He is right there to rescue and restore them to a relationship with Him that’s far beyond their expectations.
As we continue to look at how God reveals himself as the ‘LORD who heals’, using stories of God healing from the previous week, we look at the power of ‘Testimony’ and ‘Words of Knowledge’ to build our faith for healing.
Summary: Does God heal today? As God reveals himself as the ‘LORD who heals’, we discover that Jesus has made our healing possible and that by His Holy Spirit, we can pray for the sick just as did Jesus did.
“The Lord is my Banner" - In this continuation of the 'Revealed' series, Chris Lane our Founding Pastor, encourages us to believe that God has got us covered! And by the way... just what does that mean and how can we enter into God's blessing?
This week we looked at Jehovah Shalom, which means, the Lord is my peace and wholeness. Against the backdrop of the book of Judges, Denise highlights God's saving love for us even though we are prone to disobey him. As well as looking at what 'The Lord is my Peace' really means and how we can have total peace in God even in the middle of strife.
How should we respond to the risen Jesus in the 21st century? Looking at His words to Mary and Mary as He met them on the road to Galilee, we see that His instructions remain as relevant to us today, as they were over 2000 years ago.
Summary: In a matter of a days, the same people who had shouted ‘Hosanna’ as Jesus rode into Jerusalem, turned on Him and shouted, ‘Crucify Him!’. Why? As we look at the name of God, Jehovah Rohi, the LORD my Shepherd, we learn that who He is has profound impact on who we are, revealing our hearts and intentions.
When we think about God being our provider, we often think of providing for our daily needs. And while that is true, we learn in the story of Abraham and Isaac, that Jehovah Jireh provides for more – he provides for our steps of faith. As we unpack the story together, we learn 4 ways in which we walk in the provision God has for us.
In our series ‘Revealed’, it’s wonderful to know that the actual, personal name of God is ‘Yahweh’ in Hebrew or ‘Jehovah’ in English and that it means, ‘I AM’ and ‘the Revealing One’ - the One who reveals his character, his essence, and his ways intimately and individually to us! The life, death and resurrection of Jesus revealed the perfect fulfilment of ‘Jehovah Saves’, the true meaning of Jeshua.

What’s in a name? In ancient writings, a name represented the very nature of a person, the essence of who they were. God has many names, each one revealing an important facet of who He is and His promises to us.

Are you hungry? Our hunger for God is as vital to us as our hunger for food. If we don’t feed ourselves, hunger pains fade or even disappear but the effect of malnutrition becomes evident. Mark uses Psalm 23 to illustrate how God makes us aware of our need and satisfies it.
Humility of heart is essential as we position ourselves before God. Humility serves to magnify our view of God, our complete dependence on Him, His absolute truth and His unending love. Jesus not only modelled this for us, but also provided the way.
