Colonel George Watkins, the Tyndall Air Force Base Wing Commander joined VERONICA LIVE to discuss how the base $5 Billion rebuild is progressing. It has been almost five years since the base was hit by Hurricane Michael. Colonel Watkins also talked about the upcoming arrival and beddown of the first F-35 fighter jets and the new operational mission the base will be pivoting to this fall. Finally, Colonel Watkins spoke about the upcoming Gulf Coast Salute airshow which will feature the Air Force Thunderbirds and be held May 2024 on Panama City Beach.
