What difference does the resurrection of Jesus make in our lives? Is it okay to doubt it, to be a bit bewildered by it? What can we take away for our own lives?

Grace Wulff as she gives us a reflection for Palm Sunday. “Are we almost there yet?” We smile at that sentence, for we might remember ourselves as children on what seemed like a long trip and we would be asking “Are we almost there?” What was it like for Jesus to hold the tensions He has to that Holy Week. What can we learn from Him as we follow the Lamb?
In one of the most challenging chapters of the Revelation so far, we find that there is Good News, some of which may come in the most surprising form! Let's set aside our assumptions and look at this passage as the early church may have heard it.
What are these beasts really about? And that number!! You may be surprised by what the readers in the early church would understand. And maybe even moreso how relevant it is to us!
John's vision takes a dramatic turn with Chapter 12. A fresh vision outlining a great battle that wages around us. How do we fight this battle? John shows us how Christmas gives the answer, sort of. There is a great dragon on the loose - but we have nothing to fear!

As we continue in our Revelation study we find something unique in Chapter 10. The second interlude (this time it's between the 6th & 7th trumpets) gives us new visions from John. He's even told not to write some stuff down and we hear about the Mystery of God. Isn't this meant to explain everything? What do we do with Mystery? Join us as we open our hearts to what Jesus has for us in this wild ride of a study.
Some say Revelation 9 is the scariest chapter of the Bible. What is going on with the fifth and sixth trumpets? Where do these images come from and how did the first hearers of this vision understand it? Let's put ourselves in their shoes together and look at it from their point of view. Ultimately, we might see what Jesus has to say to us.
Things really get going as we get to the trumpets! How would this part of the Revelation of Jesus be good news? What would this mean to the early church and what can we learn from it?
Revelation Chapter 7 is an interlude amid the first seven seals. And this part has two very reassuring visions for John personally. They reveal Jesus’ care for John, for His persecuted churches, and for us here today. You will be encouraged, just as the early church was. Join us as we open our hearts to what Jesus has for us this week.
Horses riding out, martyrs crying out, stars falling from the sky! Is this all in the future? What did it mean to the early church? What could it mean to us. We invite you to join us as we continue to explore this incredible book and find it what Jesus has for us through it.
Bless the Lord, O my soul, and all that is within me, bless his holy name! The author of the psalm calls upon his soul and all that is within him to offer thanks and praise to God. His motivation for doing so is God's dealings with him through kindness and blessings showered upon him. What can we take away from this message as we start a new year!
