Welcome to Verity Ed, where parents are primary!

My name is Erika Ahern and, along with my husband Todd, and our six children we are building Verity Ed to introduce the world to an articulate, coherent, and joyful family-based education and home culture.

After 15 years of living the classical homeschool life and working with hundreds of homeschooling families, I took the risk  of starting and investing in Verity Ed, putting myself -- our family -- out there for the sake of families who want something more than what our culture gives them.

I saw so many young parents in those years who homeschooled because they were running away from institutional schooling: they didn’t want bullying, they didn’t want Common Core, they didn’t want the long hours away from home. But in order to keep going when homeschooling gets tough, you need something to run TOWARD even more. That’s where Verity Ed comes in. We are creating free videos, podcasts, webinars, books, and other materials that encourage and educates parents who want to grow strong families and give their children a great classical education at home.
