With defence being a part of the exclusive list that is handled by the Federal government, the security of lives and properties then lies with the Federal government. In recent times, the action of bandits, herdsmen, and Boko Haram members has impeded the safety of lives and properties thus resulting in the rise in the number of death of the citizenry.
