Vaccines & Medical Mistrust

Many researchers have begun exploring the issue of medical mistrust, which is prevalent among the African American population and other minorities. Medical mistrust refers to a lack of trust in health care providers and organizations to have patients’ best interests in mind or provide competent care that produces the best possible results.
