Freddie deBoer is the author of The Cult of Smart and maintains a substack.     We discuss the limits of education research, the relatively limited movement in education,and the overuse of schooling where larger social issues should be addressed.   Note, I give a stat on Ivy League income ratios that I could not verify and was quoting from memory.   If you can confirm or disprove this stat, please inform me. I tried to find the study I thought I remembered and could not.
