Why this differs from something like say the censorious advertising model of the limiting your listenership via the paywall method and things like that, and getting deeper into the heart of what is value for value and why this is a revolutionary new way of monetizing your creations of being able to live in the world of connect deeper with your listenership and just live I suppose, a somewhat of a more ethical life, to be honest. In the first season, we really

dived into the philosophy behind the value for value. So we examined where it was created from a with Adam curry and his method on the no agenda show, we looked at some of the different ways why you wouldn't want to set a price limit for your listeners, why you want to maybe think of yourself more as a public institution, I constantly receiving more funds coming in for the work that you're doing. So you've you've got a constant evaluation and things like that. So we really dove into the the

philosophy in the first 18 episodes. Now we're going to go on to a new purpose. And so this purposes, once again, a two part thing. Number one, it's to highlight other value for value shows and their methods. So we got into the more philosophy last time now we're gonna get into the nitty gritty, how do other shows actually go about doing this? What are their methods of, you know, linguistic tricks that they might use? Where they put it in their show? How does it relate to their

content? How can you do this if you're a sports show, or if you're a comedy podcast, or things like that, so we're going deeper into actual real world examples, which is something I'm a big fan, I'm much more a fan of action rather than pure talk. The other purpose is once again, to do some testing of my own. So I have now fully moved this onto a self hosted option for podcasting called caster pod. And I want to try out some of the new tags similar to the last time where it was a bit of a mix

of I'm going to try out some new things for myself as well. So

how's this new format going to take place? Well, this is my rough thoughts at the moment. And why I would want to fit it in this way. And one of the reasons is, I really want to make this as short and snappy as possible. I suppose last time, I probably meandered a bit too long and went into it. And look, I have a habit of doing that. And expanding upon things and

sort of just speaking my mind in a long form format. So it will probably, you know, devolve into, into me being a bit Gaby and and really diving into, like, Oh, I really liked how this show did this thing. And you can even see me doing it right now. So alright, it's not gonna be short and snappy, it's going to be more like this. But in any case, what I'm planning on doing is I'll have the, the new format will be something like intro music and a quick way to you'll why who's this podcast

is for, I'll highlight a new show. So this could be something quite podcasting. 2.0 could be one of my own shows. For the I only have a couple of shows, there's not going to be many of them. But there'll be other shows that are also in the podcasting 2.0 ecosystem world and who might be doing something a little bit different, or a truly on the path of, of going down and, and using the value for value model. So I'll highlight a show probably play a clip of this and how they

actually doing it themselves. And then maybe it'd be a brief deconstruction of what they're doing. And something I found interesting. I probably maybe even do some podcasts and 2.0 News developments, maybe a roundup section, there's so many cool things happening so many apps worth talking about developers doing new things and just world the world of podcasting is sort of constantly evolving. So I might do a little section with that. We'll see we'll that one's a maybe at the

moment. And then I'll have my own sort of value for value pitch readout on the boosta grams that I've got in the boostagram lounge section, and maybe even some highlighting of my own mere mortal shows because I really don't do that enough. I'm a terrible marketer. And that is the the purpose the
