Yeah, I'm just gonna jump right into it. You know, if you have your Bible, you can get it out. I wanna show you some things in scripture today. But let me just, Let me just say this. This Easter is so different than any other Easter. And if I could kind of narrate that a little bit further. Let me explain it like this. Every single year for the last seven, eight years, I would get up on Easter Sunday and I felt this burden to try to prove to people the resurrection.
And I would bring all kinds of scholarly materials and the historic account and the secular account. And I would bring the logical, the philosophical, the historical all together. And I just felt this tremendous burden to help a generation understand the. That believing in the Resurrection doesn't make you dumb. That there's not a direct correlation between how low your IQ is and how much you believe in the Savior. And I would do that every year. But something happened within the last year.
There has been this seismic shift in society because a renowned theologian and biblical scholar named Wes Huff was on Joe Rogan, actually establishing the authenticity and the credibility of scripture and proving the Bible's reliability on Joe Rogan. And then you have all these. Russell Brand got saved. Who saw that coming? And it's like it just kept happening. Another domino would drop.
And so it's then, by the way, some of the older folks may not know, but college kids all across America are accepting Jesus as savior and getting baptized in fountains in their local college. And they're giving up the beer and the alcohol for the new wine of the Holy Spirit in communion. There is an awakening that's happening in this nation. And then Jordan Peterson, he's a Canadian, but we'll forgive him for that.
He crossed this threshold from philosophical to actually saying it's supernatural. And I believe in the deity of Jesus Christ. So I don't feel a burden to convince you that the resurrection is true. As a matter of fact, if you don't believe it, getting left behind because society is shifting. We are in the midst of a. A revival. Come on with that golf clap. Oh, yes, revival, yes. Our children are being saved.
No, no, no, no. We are plundering hell and populating heaven and we are taking our children back from these woke ideologies that have tried to confuse them. And we are telling the enemy, you can't have this generation. And by the way, Charlie Kirk was literally at a college campus rebuking a demon. So you go back five years ago. Oh, that's my crazy pastor that's casting demons out of everybody. Well, Even the secular news media is dealing with the demonic now.
You're getting left behind if you're still an atheist. But we have a new problem. Can I tell you the new problem? The new problem is that many people, as they're scrolling on their phones, they learn more about God than they actually know God. And the problem is they know about God. They're increasing in knowledge, but not increasing in intimacy. So they're learning all about God, but they don't know God. And the even bigger problem that is that God doesn't know them.
So I want to show you something briefly in the scriptures, because we got to go to the next level now, but this isn't awakening. I came out here to start this church with 18 people. Some of them are still here. I was worshiping with them. I never thought in a million years we would be seven campuses in seven years all across America. But let me. I'm not celebrating that. I'm celebrating the fact that we were the wild ones who went into a movie theater and set up faithfully every year.
And the Lord has exposed. Expanded. Why? Because there's a hunger. And what the kids are hungering for is what the. What the lead generation's hungering for. It's what the millennials are hungering for. And even the Gen Xers who are disgruntled are hungering for. That was a joke. Gen Xers, like, I'm not angry. My face is just stuck like this from living on Long Island. But what they're hungering for is I think I'm an eternal being. I think I'm an eternal being.
And I think there's more to life than this. And I don't know what it is. So I want to show you. Because today is a dividing line. Today is when you get to cross over the threshold. Because what's happening is so much bigger than our seven locations across the nation. It's so much bigger than the 2000 movie theaters that we had a film in. It is. A literal awakening is occurring.
And the highest IQ people, the people who are in academia, but also the people that are in entertainment, they're all converging at this point where they're saying, jesus is alive. This is the distinction. So I want to show you something. Tell your neighbor, hey, you're in the Bible. Okay. You can nudge them a little bit if they're sleeping. I know it's dark in here. Now nudge them again and just say no. No, literally, you're in the Bible.
Okay, this is what I'm going to show you right now is a future prophecy. Because I went before God and I was like, God, I get one shot for some of them to preach. And what would you have me to say? And he took me to Book of Revelation. I'm probably going to be the only pastor in America preaching out of the Book of Revelation for Easter Sunday. And we're also going to talk about hell and the lake of fire for a few moments.
And I guarantee you there's a lot of pastors ain't willing to touch that topic. But the problem with the reason why some of you are antagonistic with Christianity is because they gave you the wrong one. You met the wrong Christ. If you meet the real Christ. He talks about demons, he talks about healing, resurrection, and he also talks about hell. And as a matter of fact, according to most funerals that pastors preach, everybody's going to heaven. Because, news flash, pastors lie.
I know that's shocking. Y'all think that pastors are trustworthy. But a lot of pastors lie. Here's the thing. I didn't even wanna be a pastor or a preacher. So I ain't got no skin in the game. I might as well be a real one. Can I tell you what the Bible actually says? Because I read the Hindu Vedas, and Hinduism was not it. I read the Quran three times. It's filled with indiscrepancies and errors. That was not it. And I went on that journey.
And so what I'm gonna present to you in the next few minutes is the truth that I have to submit myself to. Because it's either a lie or it's the truth. And you have to discern that. So let me show you this. You're in the Bible. Watch. And this is a future prophecy. And I saw the dead. That's you. Okay, I should have warned you. We're gonna plunge into the depths of despair for a moment. I'm gonna take you into a really dark path. And it's light on the other side.
So in the next few moments, if you're like, hello, darkness, my little friend, just stay with me. Okay, so. And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne. And books were open books. The part I want you to pay attention to is the S. It's plural. Books were open. Then another book, another book was open, which is the book of life. Okay, so everyone's dead. And they're standing before the throne, the throne of God.
And by the way, there are thrones, plural, but there's one throne above every throne. There's one name above every name. There's one king above all kings. And the Bible says every tongue will confess and every knee will bow. So no matter what you believe today, you're all gonna end up confessing and believing. The difference is, if you do it willfully today, you won't be forced to do it tomorrow. And that is the consequence of hearing the truth, but hardening your heart and ignoring it.
And that's why I feel like right now we're in one of the greatest moments, one of the greatest transitions ever in human history. And I don't want you to miss why God has you here, because there's books that were open. Now, the books that were open are the books of the lives of the dead who are being judged. That's my life. That's your life. There's books that are being written. Let me show you something. It says in Second Corinthians, chapter three, verse two and three, you yourselves.
So you yourselves are our letter of recommendation, written on our hearts, not on tablets of stone, but on tablets of human hearts. So what does this mean? It's like the apostle was saying, your life is like a letter of recommendation. So in other words, for those of you who are living for Jesus, your life is like a book that people read. As a matter of fact, there's people that work with you that will never read the Bible, but they'll read your life.
And so when they hear you praying in the break room and they're like, what's going on in there? You're like, listen, I'm praying because I believe God can do the miraculous. Then what happens is you begin to lead the lost to the cross at any cost. Because they may not read the Bible, but they read your life. So, but let me give you the other part of this. Your life is like a book.
And imagine it like a documentary where there are no edits, a continuous documentary where there are no deleted scenes. So every single time you cussed your wife out. It's in the book. Every single time, you prayed to God, God, free me from this, make me pure. And then you went back to. To the filth of perversion, back to pornography. It's in the book. Every single time that you were given an opportunity to be generous, but you responded in fear and became selfish. It's in the book.
Every single time that you knew God was calling you, but you resisted and you went back into the world to go live for your own selfish ambition. It's in the book. I mean, it's like the most Embarrassing ruthless documentary ever, where you cannot delete any of the scenes. And before you have a panic attack, let me give you a little bit of good news. All of our books are the same. For all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. Now, my wife, she only sinned three times in 40 years.
So you gotta watch her movie for a long time before you get to a sin. For me, I have whole years where I sin perpetually. Come on, we can laugh a little. Everyone's like, not I. This is Long Island. We don't sin. We don't have problems here. This is Long Island. Come on. Get over yourself. For all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. So on the judgment Day, when these books are open and they're re. And they're reading of our story, it's like we are done for.
And when you think about our lives and how we live our life, the different seasons, the different eras. You know, the women wearing culottes. You guys, Is that a thing? Culottes? Did I even say it right? Somebody laughing in the back. Somebody's wearing culottes today. I don't even know what they are. I just remember my. The girls talking about bell bottoms. Remember when you frosted your hair? Remember? Didn't they call it frosting? The tips. Just the tips of it.
Do you remember when you had hair? Oh, come on. We can laugh about it. Someone's like, you know, JNCO jeans, those big wide legs. Remember the skinny jean phase that when you would walk in them, you could start a fire? You remember that? My wife. Okay, let me see if this happened in New York. Cause we were in northwest Indiana. Remember when. Okay, this was a thing. When I first started dating my wife, she wore this velour suit. Is it velour? Juicy couture. She just told me.
Okay, yeah, it was a JLO thing. Jenny from the block. And so you had all these chicks from northwest Indiana who live in corn fields with JLO stuff on, like. But my wife would wear these $1 Old Navy flip flops. Was that a thing out here, those Old Navy flip flops? And where I'm from, there would be 14 inches of snow in the dead of winter. And I'd come to pick my girlfriend up, who's now my wife, and she'd come waddling out with these flip flops on.
And I'm like, you don't wear shoes in the winter. Like. And so. But these are just the stories of our life. And most of us, we're just doing the Best we can. Have you ever said that? I'm just doing the best I can. I don't think anybody wakes up and says, I want to be a crackhead. I used to work in a facility where I help people get free from opiates. They're actually some of the most intelligent people you'll ever meet in your life who could not figure a way out.
And so they just tried to dull down their high IQ with drug usage. So don't be so quick to judge. A lot of people I've met who are alcoholics or very intelligent people who started to pick up on the injustice of life and the fact that things don't always add up. And they said, if I can't stop thinking, at least I can try to shut it down. And I'm just keeping it 100 with you.
I don't think I've done a lot of marriages, and people walk down the aisle and their families are represented, and I'm there. I get to see it. I have the front row seat for it. I don't think anybody says, I've never met anybody diabolical enough to say, you know what I want to do? I want to spend $100,000 on a wedding on Long Island.
Cause, you know, weddings out here are crazy expensive, you know, where, like, the bride and the groom are up on the hydraulic lift and they start spinning around, you know, which is awesome. But I don't think anybody says, let me do all that just so I can get divorced in four years. I. I think what happens is we know how to do a wedding, but we don't know how to do marriage. I. I think. I think we, like. Come on. I'm trying to speak to somebody. And we're just doing the best we can. And then.
But incrementally. Now, I want to warn you, God is real, but so is Satan. Angels are real, and there's many, many stories, but so is our demons. And so I believe that you were born on a battlefield and the book of your life is being written, and there's a tug of war for your soul. And for some of you, you're like, but, Mike, I'm not even that important. No, no, no. Not being important doesn't mean that you don't carry the seed of importance.
See, it's much easier to kill a serpent before it hatches from a shell than to let that thing hatch and turn into. It's much easier to crush a seed than it is to chop down a tree. So some of you are getting fought for. What you're gonna become, even though you're not that thing right now. Because the devil will look at you and see an author before you wrote a book. The devil will look at you and he'll see a renowned musician and an artist before you write a song. The devil knows potential.
Sometimes he is aware of your potential more than you are. And that's the only way I can explain why he's tried to kill you so many times. Because he's not trying to kill you. He's trying to kill what carry. And if he can kill what you carry, it never gets out to earth. And then everybody who struggles like you doesn't get the victory that you give them through Christ. Are you picking up on what I'm putting down? So let me continue to break this down.
So remember, there's books which carry the story of our life, and then there's another book, and this other book is called the Book of Life. And it says if anyone's name was not found written in the Book of Life. So if it was not found written in the Book of Life, he was thrown into the Lake of fire.
Okay, if Jesus Christ learned English and he wasn't in the 1st century, but he was in the 21st century and he was walking around and you were able to have a conversation with him, it's most likely he would offend you a lot. He offended people so much, they killed him. So the idea that you're gonna hang out with Jesus and he's just gonna hug you and he's gonna be, buddy Jesus, that's probably. Jesus was very confrontational, but in love. How many of you are parents? Wave at me.
Okay, you love your children even when they don't like you. And you tell your children what they need to hear, not what they want to hear. So Jesus is the same way. Jesus was telling people what they needed to hear, not what they wanted to hear. And my thing is this, Mike Signorelli. I don't have an opinion, but my opinion is the Scriptures. And whatever the scriptures say, that's what I say. So I want to show you the Lake of Fire. We're going to. It gets even darker.
So if their name was not written in the Lamb's Book of Life, they were thrown into the Lake of Fire. Now, what is the Lake of Fire? We don't know. It's just that John the Revelator only had one way to explain it. He saw a vision, and he was seeing the dead, which all of us are in this vision. And there was all these books open about their life. And then there was only one book that decided everybody's fate from that threshold forward called the Book of Life.
And he said, wherever these people's name whose names were not in that book are being thrown into, it just looks like a massive lake, but a lake of fire. Now, most preachers, they won't even tell you this is in the Bible because they want you to like them. But I'm a New York pastor. I know you don't like me and I don't like you and I don't like the way you drive. And I don't agree and I don't agree with your politics and I don't like your breath and I don't like your outfit.
And I'll fight you in the parking lot after the sermon's over. I don't even care. But I will tell you in love. Come on, I'm joking. I saw some guy in the back start squaring up. What I'm trying to say is I don't care if you like me. I didn't come out here to have a big church. Matter of fact, big churches are some of the fakest churches I've ever been to. I don't care if you like me. I'm trying to show you what the text says.
The Bible literally says if your name's not in this book, you're getting thrown in the lake of fire. And by the way, it says that if you are a fornicator, an adulterer, if you're sexually perverse, if you're prideful, if you're a liar, it says you also get thrown in lake of fire. So this is not my words, this is his words.
And the reason why I have to say that is because with Christianity rising in the United States, there's an opportunity for not just Christianity increasing, but compromise increasing.
Because there's a girl who's an only fan star and this is a basically self made pornography who has gone viral recently for saying that she is a Christian and that her Christianity is compatible with onlyfans and she's going to heaven and she can lead an entire generation into lust and perversion and still go to heaven. So what happens is the greatest threat to Christianity in this next season is not Islam. The greatest threat to Christianity in this season is not Eastern religions.
It's not Buddha and Krishna. It is false light. It is something masquerading as true light, but it's false light because it's compromised. And the question I came here to ask you is not if you are a Christian Because Billy Graham said standing in a church does not make you a Christian any more than standing in your garage makes you a car. If you ask people on Long island, are you a Christian? Yeah, I'm a Christian.
While they're smoking weed yeah, I'm a Christian while they're 4 and 5 hard liquor drinks drunk they're yeah, I'm a Christian While they're hitting the crackpipe yeah, I'm the Christian While I'm sleeping around and cheating in my life My wife yeah, I'm a. See, Christian is not a title. It is a walk of a narrow road that says, when the Lord washed me in the blood, I swear still want those things but I crucify my flesh because first Jesus died and then I die like him.
Every single day I pick up my own cross. And there's a lot of people who want to go to church, but there's only a few people who want to pick up a cross. But God's asking, who will pick up the cross? I have been. This is Galatians, chapter 2, verse 20. I have been crucified with Christ. So everybody wants Christ to be crucified, but who wants to hang with him? And so on Long island, oh, yeah, I'm a Christian. The only fan star I'm a Christian. No, you're not. You're calling yourself a Christian.
Come on. And only a generation where kids go to school in animal costumes and call themselves furries would say, I'm a Christian. See, it's the same thing if you give yourself any identity you want. The problem is it's not true. You can say that you're a woman, but the men know you're not.
But by that definition, we have some trans Christians on Long Island, People who own the title but don't own the DNA of the kingdom, people who say the right things but don't know the one that they're testifying of. People who I'm telling you, as a matter of fact, the Bible says that there's going to be people who are screaming the loudest during worship, but they're going to get to this throne and he's going to say, depart from me, for I never knew you.
There's going to be people posting on the gram how spiritual they are, throwing their biblical exegesis and all the wisdom that they think they have. And in that throne moment, he's going to say, you knew everything about me, but you did not know me. And for as brutal as this is, let me just show you the ending. You don't get to write the final chapter of your story, but you do get to hand over the pen.
And the reason why I say that is because this generation is obsessed with making their own identity. I'm gonna choose my own gender. I'm gonna choose my sexuality. I'm gonna choose who I marry. I'm gonna choose where I live. I'm gonna choose. It's like we are obsessed with the illusion of the freedom connected to choice. But see, only true freedom comes through surrender to Jesus Christ. And this is the thing that people, they first resist it. No, I'm gonna make myself into something.
I'm gonna make my family, I'm gonna make my life. I'm gonna make. No, this is the thing. What happens is you'll have the 2.5 kids. I don't know what a 5 kid is, but that's weird. You'll have a dog, and it's probably a goldendoodle. I'm just saying. And you'll get your car, and then you'll get your house on Long island, and you'll be living your upper middle class life, and you'll be like, look, I made it.
And then what'll happen is the emptiness and the void will begin to open and you'll realize that there's something still missing. And this is what I'm talking about. I just did an interview with a young man who literally transitioned into a woman, got multiple surgeries, and also did all of the hormonal therapies, went fully into that life. And as he continued getting more surgeries, it just got darker and darker and he felt emptier and emptier.
And finally, at the height of that experience, I mean, he was living in Miami, where we have a campus, actually, and he literally had a whole sugar daddy situation. And he thought, I'm living people's fantasy. And then in the midst of that situation, he literally, at his emptiest moment, came back home, completely broke down, and his sister said, it's time to come home to Jesus.
Not only did he come home to Jesus, but he said, as I continue to surrender my life to Jesus, I felt like I needed to go to the store and get all new clothes. And he got new clothes and he cut his hair. And all of a sudden he began to de. Transition hormonally, chemically. Then all of a sudden he began to go on that journey. Then he was baptized in the Holy Spirit.
And I just did this whole interview with him, and now he's ministering to all these people to say, I was See, the root of it was he was trying to make his own life, make his own identity. And even at the apex of success, living out this fantasy, living out this life, he found how empty he really was. I was recently in Tampa doing a men's event, and this young guy, he came forward, and he could barely walk. Like, he was literally dragging his leg. And this guy was helping him walk up.
And I said, what's. What's going on? Why are you here? Like, why did you come forward? And the kid was crying so hard, he couldn't even talk. And the guy who brought him up said, I'm an evangelist, and I do street evangelism, and I preach the gospel and I tell people about Jesus on the street. And this young man, he was walking by with the crowd, but he came out of the crowd and he heard about Jesus, and he accepted Christ.
But then as he walked away, just several minutes later, he was hit by a car, and he literally died right there. And we have emergency. Emergency personnel that's with us when we do these events. And he said, we went over when we found out, and we helped resuscitate him and bring him back. And we literally brought him back to life. And he said, now this guy is serving the Lord because when he died, he was convicted, convinced that he made the right decision to serve Jesus Christ.
And that young man is now joining him to step in in evangelism, to tell the world. But then yesterday, I was on a bike ride with my daughter Bella, and we were in Queens, and we. We decided we were gonna ride our bike to the park. And so we got to the park, and we're riding around, and all of a sudden, I. I see the police barricades, and I see all the police tape, and this happened in Middle Village, Queens, yesterday. And all of a sudden, I go up and I see this big crowd of people.
And as a pastor, I'm like, first thing I thought is, can I help? And all of a sudden, I walk up to that police tape, and I asked the guy next to me, I said, what happened? Because I saw these bed sheets, these white bed sheets that had been tied to a fire truck. And he said, that fire truck came around the corner, and there was a teenage boy on his bike, and it ran him over, and he died instantly, and he's still under the truck.
There's a family in Queens that is celebrating Easter without their son today. And I told my daughter Bella, I said, one young man accepted Christ, was hit by a car, died, and was resuscitated and now is sharing Jesus with everyone. And another young man was hit by a car, died. And we don't know what happened. See, even to the young people, under the sound of my voice, you don't know when you're going to take your last breath. You don't know when it's all over.
Sometimes when you're young, you think you have all these years, but I just told you two stories of young men that did not know that their life was on the line. One of them came back, the other one didn't come back. The Bible says it's appointed to every man once to die. So that means no matter when it happens, we're all going to die. The question is not what's in the book of your life, because all of us have sin in that book.
Whether you're the young man that transitions and then detransitions, whether you're the person addicted to opiates or drinking alcohol or secretly involved in adultery. And you're under the sound of my voice in this room, actively cheating in your marriage. Whatever your story is, I'm here to tell you all of our stories are dysfunctional. All of our stories are stories of sin. This is what it comes down to, is when you get to that last chapter, you don't get to choose.
But if you've handed the pen over to Jesus, he gets to write what happens. He gets to determine. And that's what this is all about. Because here's the thing. We judge people's sin just because they sin differently than us. So I'm not here to judge why you did it, because it's probably a response to brokenness and pain in your life. But what I am here to do is to say in an authoritative way that the word of God is clear. Is your name in the Lamb's Book of Life?
With the last few moments, you might be asking, how? Okay, preacher, how? Let me tell you. It says, repent, therefore turn back, that your sins may be blotted out. And I love that imagery of blotting out, because it's like it's written, but it can be blotted out. There's something about the blood of Jesus that cleanses, that washes, John, chapter 11, verse 25, says, I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet he shall live.
See, Billy Graham also said, famously, that hell was not created for humans. If you read the Book of Revelation, the lake of fire is where Satan is thrown and all of the demons. As a matter of fact, I cannot wait for that moment. Because I'm gonna be like, na, na, na, na, hey, hey, goodbye. I might even be like, looking at the devil like this. How you like me now, devil? Anybody know what I'm talking about? That moment where the devil gets thrown the lake of fire, you're like, scream, devil.
Everything you did to me is coming back to you. So there's an appointed time where even Satan and all of his minions called demons are thrown in that lake of fire. Hell was not made for you, but hell was designed for the disobedient. So here's the thing. We've cheapened grace by compromising. We've cheapened by grace by thinking that we can say yes to Jesus but continuing to live however we want to live.
And as a matter of fact, when you know you've been saved, there's something that happens in you that you. You are like, I can't. I. It doesn't mean that my desire is always different. I may still feel that pull, but I don't surrender to the desire. I surrender to my sav. And whatever he wants me to do, I do. And whatever he says, I said, there's something about back in the olden days, I remember growing up, I'm talking to some of the young people.
When people got saved, they started going to church every week. They started reading their Bible every week, they started praying every day. You know what I'm talking about? Is anybody here saved? Come on, is anybody here saved? Like, truly changed when the scales would be removed. That's why I shared that story of my friend who used to be trans, because I'm like, we need to hear stories of true transformation. So the question today is not, did Jesus rise? It's will you rise with him? Watch.
If you die with him, you rise with him. If you die to your own opinion, if you die to your own will, your own ways, then what happens is if you share in his death, you share in his resurrection. That is the ultimate plan of God. I want to share one last story with you. You know, our church is very precious, and my wife and I have made a habit of praying over the names of the people of our church across the locations. And, you know, we.
Recently my heart's been burdened for discipleship because let me just. Again, I'm keeping it 100 with you. I'm just being transparent. All across America, pastors are going to preach a message, and then they're going to ask people, raise your hand if you want to accept Jesus. And they're going to say, what's called the sinner's prayer. And all the pastors are going to count the hands, and there's going to be posts all over the Internet today of how many people got saved.
And I'm putting that in air quotes because they count hands, not disciples. See, the Bible says there's this wide road and many people will walk that wide. What's a wide road? It means that there's room to swerve, there's room to change lanes. Come on, I'm talking to somebody. Y'all are bad drivers out here. Let me tell you. Not all of you, but some of you need to get delivered from that demon.
But you know when you're swerving and you're just coming in and out of lanes and, oh, maybe this is truth. Maybe that's truth. But then the Bible says there's this narrow road, and only a few will walk the narrow road. See, the narrow road are the ones that live their lives so different than the world that the world thinks they're bigots. The world thinks they're prideful. The world thinks that they're. Oh, they're religious. The world thinks that they're in a cult. The world think, Come on.
That road is so narrow, it says only a few will walk it. And so the thing is, today what I feel is we need to count disciples, not count hands. And because there's a lot of people who say the sinner's prayer and then start an only fans. There's a lot of people who say the sinner's prayer but never come back to church.
There's a lot of people who say the sinner's prayer but keep on sinning and getting saved doesn't make you sin, like, completely sinless, but it will help you sin less as you become sanctified. And you need to be surrounded by people around you who say, I want to help you walk this narrow path with me. We need mothers and fathers in the faith. We need the older generation to say, hey, I had a divorce too, but God used that brokenness. And let me walk you through this divorce.
And you need somebody to grab your hand and to say, I had a miscarriage too, and I had broken expectations, and I'm gonna walk your hand through this. You need some men to say, hey, you never had a biological father, but as a man, I'm gonna look you in your eyes and say, I'm proud of you for praying for your wife. I'm proud of you for having a godly family. And that's called discipleship. Anybody Know what I'm talking about?
So I got so burdened with this because I don't want our church to be a show. I didn't come out here and sacrifice everything so that our church can be just another show. If you want a show, go to Broadway. As a matter of fact, it's called Broadway. But there's a way that's narrow. See, this is like, if there's. If there's. If there's anything, we're the opposite of Broadway. We're the narrow way. Do you want to come walk it with us?
And so what happened was I had debuted this discipleship class at all of our locations called the Breakers. And because in every family, there's somebody who's destined to be the generational bloodline curse breaker. In every family, there's somebody who says, it may run in my family, but I'm where it runs out. You know, there was spousal abuse and anger and rage in my bloodline. And I tried to bring it into my marriage.
And I would punch holes in the wall, and I would throw dishes, and I would cuss my wife out. And I was filled with so much rage, and I had to rise up and say, this may run in my family, but I'm where it runs out. I may have been born this way, but I'm going to be born again. And my name's going to be written in the Lamb's Book of Life. Not because I'm good, but because he's good. Not because of what I've done, but because of what he's done.
And maybe that's like you, the generational curse breaker. So there's this woman, and her name was Katrina. And Katrina was at our Indiana location. And she signed up to be a breaker. And she was a dear, precious member of our church. She was going to school to get a doctorate in theology. Brilliant woman. But she submitted herself to go through this process of discipleship. And when people sign up, they get a bracelet. And the bracelet says, I am a breaker.
And we ask that people wear it for the entire duration of that eight weeks. Because we're gonna ask them to be completely sober and to get into one of the classes that we have for addiction recovery. Cause we have zooms and classes where people can get free from addiction to alcohol and cigarettes and all kinds of various things. Pornography. And people are getting free. And we're gonna say, for the next 40 days, don't take this bracelet off, because you are going to become a breaker.
But we're also asking that you read The Bible every day. And people say, I don't understand the Bible, but we teach you how to read it and understand it. And then we assign a growth coach to you. And that growth coach, they come alongside of you and they help you pray and get on your feet. Then what happens when it's over is you start all these new habits, and your life has changed forever.
So what happened was today, and this is a bittersweet moment, today is actually the celebration of the graduation of hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of breakers around the entire world that signed up to be discipled here in New York and abroad. And so today's the actual graduation ceremony. But let me tell you what actually happened. Katrina was pregnant, and she went to go deliver the baby.
She was in labor, and she went to the hospital, and as she was struggling with the pains of labor, you know, she was scared. And she actually told her husband about her concerns and her fears. And he was like, babe, I'm here with you. And all of a sudden, you know, she just said, you know what? I'm going to go V1. No turning back.
For those of you who don't know what V1 means, if you've ever been in an airplane, as the airplane is headed down the Runway, the moment where it takes off the Runway, when the plane lifts off, that's called v1. It means the point of no return. It means this thing's going to fly. So she was literally telling her husband, this is some of her last words. I'm going V1. That baby was delivered. That baby's healthy. That baby is a V1 baby.
But unfortunately, Katrina passed away just a few weeks ago, and it was devastating to our church. We've cried many tears, and I couldn't be at the funeral in Indiana. But Pastor Josh, our exec pastor, went and he called me when it was over. And I was like, josh, I just want to know, are they covered? Do they know? We love him?
He said, pastor Mike, when I went into that funeral, he said, there were V1 church people everywhere, just loving each other, holding each other, embracing each other, speaking words of affirmation into each other. But then Josh tried to tell me something. He kept getting choked up. He couldn't even say it. He said, mike, you know when you go to funerals, you walk past the pictures that the family sets out of their life. And I was thinking about this sermon as I was preparing.
The book of Katrina's life had been written, and those pictures that you put up are the visual representation of the book that was written about your life. And her book closed. That book closed. He said, but, Mike, when I came around the corner and I came up to her casket, I looked into the casket and I looked down, and I saw on her wrist that bracelet that we give out that says, I am a breaker. And he said I had to ask her husband, why is that bracelet on her?
And he said, because when we were in the hospital, they said, you have to take everything off and only put this hospital gown on. But she refused to take the bracelet off because she made a commitment to become a disciple. And they said, katrina, the nurses tried to say, we just. It's a protocol to take everything off. And she said, I will not take this bracelet off. I am a breaker. I made the decision to wear this. I'm not taking it off. And she literally died with that bracelet on her wrist.
But I've got good news for you. She also graduated. She graduated ahead of her class. She graduated to glory. She graduated to heaven. And she is a breaker. And she left a heritage to that baby that was born. And as a church, we're all coming together to say, even though her book closed, there's going to be thousands around the world, that another page is turned.
And somebody else today is going to say, I'm going to join Katrina in becoming a breaker, because my story's not done yet, and if I'm not dead, I'm not done. Can you all rise up to your feet with me right now? And I want you to just put your hands together for Katrina as a life well lived in the faith. She died with the certainty of a decision she made, and we honor her life. That bracelet said, I am breaker. Now, here's the thing I want to ask you.
As many of you been feeling a groaning, a travailing, a deep desire for something to change, I want. I'm not going to ask, who wants to say this sinner's prayer and then go to the Easter lunch, and three hours from now, you're asleep on a couch and your whole life is the same. Same. I'm asking, who wants to walk the narrow path? Who wants to actually pick up their cross? And who wants to be discipled? Who wants to read their Bible with me? Who wants to pray with me?
Who wants to learn the sacred path? Who wants to abandon the world? Who wants to leave the world behind? And who wants to come to the cross of Jesus Christ and say, I want to be one of those believers. I want to be like a Jesus, Trina. I want to be the breaker in my family. Who wants to step past mediocrity, and they want to see that potential that's on the inside of them, come alive and say, God, there's a reason why I didn't kill myself. There's a reason why I didn't die in the car accident.
There's a reason why I had multiple miscarriages, but I'm still coming to church today. There's a reason why I had divorces and domestic violence, but I'm still, still lifting my hands in worship. And I want to live out the fullness of my book. And I want my name written in the Lamb's book of life. So here's what we're going to do. And the Lord told me to do this, and if you don't believe that, that's on you. But I feel deeply convicted.
And I've mentioned Billy Graham two times in this service because the Lord told me that the mantle of Billy Graham is still in the earth today. But see, Billy Graham, there was a moment of decision that was made, but he would call people to come forward. And today I want to inconvenience you, because if you can't get out of your seat to come forward to a front altar section, it's going to be so much harder to come out from among them and be separate in the world.
And so I believe that there's a tangible decision that's made. I believe that in order to be saved, Jesus would call the disciples and watch. They had to stop being fishermen to become fishers of men. And they had to leave the nets and leave the boat behind. Sometimes you have to physically walk up. And last service, somebody's dad came forward that they never thought would come forward. Last service, someone's uncle came forward.
There were grown men bawling their eyes out under the power of God, saying, I want to be a real one. I want to be a disciple. So I'm gonna count to three, because in this service, I want to know who's ready to go with me to become the breaker in their family, and who's saying, enough is enough. I'm deciding for Heaven. And by the way, I am not getting thrown in the lake of fire. That is not my final destination. I will rule and reign with God, and I will be in the new heaven and new Earth.
And I know my destiny is sealed by the blood of the Lamb. And when I count to three, I want you to physically move out of your seat and come forward, and hell is gonna lose you as its property. Hell is gonna lose the legal right to you and every demon's gonna have to let you go, and you are gonna be free. Come on. So, one, the Holy Spirit's been working on you the entire service. You knew today was the day.
Two, he's already confirmed so much today, and now is the time to respond, and he'll even give you the boldness to step out of the aisle and to come. Three, come now. Come on, if that's you. Three, just come forward. Young and old. Come on. Come forward if that's you. Yeah. Come on. Make room. Just come up across every location right now. Come on. Just keep pressing in. Wow. Come on. Keep pressing in. Even if there's not enough room. We'll come in around the sides.
Yeah, they're coming all the way from the balcony. Come on. We'll make room. Make room. Keep pressing in. Wow. Come on. Keep pressing in. Even if you gotta stand in denial, whatever it takes. The Bible says that if we deny Christ before men, then God will deny us before everybody at this throne room situation. So we gotta come out public with this. Come on. They're still coming. They're still, still coming. Come forward. Come, come, come, come. Come on. Don't.
Don't feel like you have to hold back. As many of you as there are just coming to the front. Just pack in all the way up to the stage. If you need to take a step forward, just take a step forward so there's more room. Wow. Come on. They're continuing to come. They're continuing to come. These are people's cousins. These are people's aunts and uncles, people's grandparents. Wow. Continue. I'm gonna wait a little while to let everybody make this decision. Come here, hold my hand.
What's your name, huh? Amaterio. Who is this? That's your son, Omar. You know what's funny? Because you guys can't see this, but you're just weeping right now. But your son is smiling from ear to ear. And I want to tell. I've told this story many times, but this is why we do this. My biological father is dead, but he was in a service just like this. And the preacher gave an opportunity to come forward. And my mother. Where you at, Mom? My mother, who's right here. Did you not beg him?
She begged my dad, please go forward. And he just clutched the front of his seat and would not come. And the reason why my soul rejoices is because when you made the decision to come forward and you're weeping, you made the decision that my own biological father didn't make. And I honor you and I honor your decision.
And you may feel like there's some areas in life that you have failed, but I just want to say in front of everyone, and I'm saying this not from Mike Signorelli, but from your heavenly father. I'm proud of you. I'm proud of you. I'm proud of you. All of Long island would be saved if more fathers and husbands rose up like this to say, as for me and my house, we will. Come on. As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord. Come on. There's more. I want to be a little persistent, though.
Is there anybody else before we pray? That's out there in the crowd. That's like. I feel like I'm supposed to come up. I'm just going to give you 30 seconds. There's something about walking out of the crowd. There's something about stepping forward, getting out of your seat. Is there anybody else? I'm going to give you 30 seconds. Yeah, there's some coming. There's some coming. Wow. Wow. Yeah. This guy. Come on. Come all the way up to the front. Come all the way up to the front.
Wow. Yeah. The tug of war for your soul is over today. The tug of war. You've been pulled like this. Light and dark pulling you. Light and dark pulling you. And the enemy wanted you so badly. But when you stepped out of your seat, the war for your soul is over. And you belong to the king and you will never go back. And when you walk down, I heard the Lord say, you will never go back. You will never go back. And I see the tears in your eyes right now.
But the Lord showed me that one year from now, you're going to be at Easter Sunday. This is a prophetic word. And I see you happy and filled with joy. And the Lord says, son, give me one year and see what I will do with your life. For in one year, I will make your life unrecognizable. And the Lord says, some of your dreams are going to die because they're not my dreams. But other dreams are going to live because they are my dreams.
And I heard the Lord say, you're breaking through now to step into your destiny. Today is the day. Today is the day. Okay, we're all about to pray. Who is this? How are you guys related? That's your grandmother. What's your name? Connie. You are so precious, and you look beautiful on this Easter. And what was your name? Danny and Connie. Wow. Generations are literally holding themselves. The grandmother with a granddaughter here up at the front. Isn't it a beautiful thing?
Wow. You look so emotional. Have you been believing for this moment? Yeah. God did. He did it, didn't he? God did it, didn't he? What's he going to do next? So much. Yeah. You know what I want to say to you? Have faith. Have faith like a mustard seed. And you'll speak to that mountain. Move and the whole mountain will move. The Lord's going to give you more faith. When you walked up here, he's increasing your faith. Believe for the impossible. Oh, I know you've been disappointed.
I know you've had broken expectations. But I see the Lord. Pastor Execa, lay your hand on her. I see the Lord just giving you faith right now. And you're gonna speak to the mountain and you're gonna say, move, and that mountain's gonna move. And God's given you boldness. Wow, man. I'm just literally the grandmother and the granddaughter just weeping right now. We're gonna pray in a few seconds. But God's doing something so special. God's doing something so special, man.
All the way out in the aisle. Huh? Who is that next to you? Is this the one we've been praying for? Is that you? Come, bring him. Bring him. This the one we've been praying for? Oh, you don't even know you're marked in this spiritual realm because we've been waiting for this moment. I'm crying with your mom because many are called, but few are chosen. And the last will be first, and the first shall be last. And son, when you came up out of your seat, you get ready.
Cuz God's going to open up the windows of heaven and pour out a blessing you can't even contain. Welcome to the winning side. Yeah. Come on. Come on. I know your mom's annoying. I know she wouldn't look at me. And you laugh, didn't you? You want to know why she wouldn't leave you alone? Because you're destined. You're destined. And you know what? I hear her crying over your shoulder. And you'll never forget this moment. But this one's not fake. This is real. You feel it, don't you?
This ain't like when you were a kid. Because you're a man now. And I want to say this in front of everybody. When you surrender to the Lord right now, you belong to him. So even though you've been trying to figure it out and take care of yourself, I heard the Lord say, son, you are not too old for me to take care of you. And watch that I take care of you. The Lord knows your needs. He knows your struggles. But I want to give you a warning. The Lord says you're the leader, not the follower.
And I heard the Lord say, son, in this next season, it's time to lead. And the people that you're calling your friends, the Lord says, I'm calling them your followers. You call them friend, but I call them follower. And you need to lead because the Lord says in your friend group, when you come back to them and tell them, I'm saved and I'm filled with the Holy Spirit, they want to get saved, too. They just. They're too afraid to say it. And you're about to lead your friends to Jesus. Come on.
Come on. There's just tears all over here. Come on. Come on. The power of God's all over you. Come on. Come on. That word. That word resonated with you, didn't it? You know what I love about you? I love how you love other people. I don't even know you, but you carry people. But I got good news for you. You can't save them, but Jesus will. And I'm telling you, there's some family members. I can feel you in the spirit crying out for them.
And the Lord said when you came forward, you came forward on their behalf. And I heard the Lord say, your family is going to be saved. Man, Y'all. I don't. Can y'all feel this in the back? Because, I mean, they are just weeping all over the front here because salvation is happening. Is that word for you, too? Wow. Something supernatural is happening. This is what it sounds. This is what it sounds like when someone gets saved.
Not the sinner's prayer with a bagel in one hand and a coffee in another. And you go back living your life. This man right here. Right here is getting saved. This is what happens when somebody goes from death to life. This is what happens when there's scales are being removed. I hear him just screaming out, thank you, Jesus. Can someone shout hallelujah? Hallelujah. Hallelujah. And I want you to hear that. That sound. I'm glad that you get to hear that cry. He's becoming a breaker.
He's becoming a breaker. Come on. You right there with the necklace on. You're a breaker. Come on. You know who you are in the spirit. Am I right? You know who you are. Walk in it now. Time to walk in it. Hold your chin up. Yeah. Because you're a warrior in the spirit. We're all getting ready to pray. From the front to the back. Right now, I'm just letting the Holy Spirit do the work. Just letting the Holy Spirit do the work.
Wow. Sa. Wow. Wow. We're gonna pray together, and then we're gonna sing. And then we're gonna just bask in what God did during this service. Lives are being transformed right now when that decision was made. But this is for everybody from the front to the back. So what I want you to do is just lift your hands and surrender. This is just a universal sign of I surrender. That's why we lift up. The Bible says lifting up holy hands.
It's just in school you would lift your hand when you have the answer. In church, you lift your hand. When you don't. You're like God. Your ways are higher than my ways. Your thoughts are higher than my thoughts. And with my hands lifted, I'm surrendering my life. And we're gonna pray from the front to the back. And we're gonna say this all together. So use my words. Say, heavenly Father, I thank you for the cross where you died.
I thank you for the tomb where you rose again Washed me with your blood. Forgive my sins. I thank I choose to follow you as a disciple to walk the narrow path. I choose to become the breaker in my family line. I choose to live for you, to die for you to carry my cross to become like you In Jesus name Somebody shout Amen Someone sing this with me now let's celebrate.
