This week John and Trish are watching the sequel to Friday the 13th, aptly titled Friday the 13th Part 2, which marks the entrance of Jason as the “big bad” of the franchise. This episode is shorter due to time constraints and the fact that John and Trish got caught up in just watching this lovely film.

Episode 34, “Children of the Night (1991)”

Tonight Trish and John are watching the 1991 film “Children of the Night.” This remarkable flick was filmed in Calumet, Michigan our hometown! This film has many things to recommend it: it’s got vampires, a priest in love with his brother’s wife, and vampires that put themselves in chrysalis and throw their lungs out of their bodies when they sleep. Sorry for the delay in posting this week—Trish decided to do some kitchen reno and it has affected her editing turnaround.

This episode begins with a conversation about the Saw franchise and ends with watching a preview of the next movie to be viewed: Thinner. In between John and Trish are amused and slightly baffled by this second-in-a-trilogy-that-is-kinda-a-quadrilogy. There are no screams from Trish, and John is very cute.
