Translating "Immanuel" (Ep. 219)

The promise of the Messiah is wrapped up in one word: Immanuel. This Hebrew word is translated for us in Matthew’s Gospel as “God with us.” As we start off the Christmas season, we need to be reminded of the powerful message of the Light of God coming to a dark world.
