Episode description

January is Human Trafficking Awareness month, so in this episode, I’m welcoming back author, survivor, and award-winning, nationally recognized expert on the subject Rebecca Bender to debunk three common myths about human trafficking – that most trafficked children are kidnapped and kept as prisoners, that trafficking requires a sex act, and that women are choosing to sell their bodies and stay with abusers. She also offers several resources to help educate and help you get involved in the fight against human trafficking.
