41. Brent Reed, PharmD, MS, BCPS-AQ - Causes and Solutions to Burnout and Attrition, Career Shift Outside of Pharmacy

Brent Reed, PharmD, MS, BCPS-AQ, is a PhD student in Organizational Science at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Dr. Reed practiced for ten years as a cardiology pharmacist specializing in the management of heart failure and was a faculty member at the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy.

We talk through his career shift to pursue his PhD in Organizational Science and how he hopes to help the profession of pharmacy through studying burnout. We also talk through burnout and attrition research that is applicable to all of us!
