The Kid feels she needs to protect her sisters heart from heartbreak ( we ain’t there yet ) and to stop her from experiencing life as a 20 yr old. Mainly, because it’s putting her on the back burner. The Kid has been a caregiver since I’ve known her. She has to release that, because it should have never been her job. They both have life to live and experiences to learn.
