What'S up once again peoples, this your man Adrian AKA Drizza just come out doing another quick demo for the shell phone show. Now this particular demonstration I'm going to be showing how we can disable the touchscreen on The Blind Cell Classic 3. So we're going to go ahead and jump right into this. Now you did hear me correctly, the Blindshell Classic 3 does have touchscreen capability. Now there's a caveat to that. The touchscreen is only enabled when you download a third party app from the Aurora Store. Besides that, you pretty much use the Blindshell Classic 3 the exact same way how you use the Blindshell Classic 2 by using the buttons. But once again, I'm reiterating the only time when the touchscreen is on is is when you're using a third party app that you download and installed from the Aurora Store. I'm going to pull up One of my third party apps from my favorites.
Amazon Alexa 1 of 16 let's pull. Up my Be My Eyes app Be. My Eyes 3 of 16 I'm going. To press OK on that. Please Be My Eyes. Now Be My Eyes opened up once again. I got two different ways how I can maneuver this app. By default the touchscreen is turned on and if I put my finger on the screen and swipe around, you'll hear it speak out all the different settings while I'm swiping my finger. Call a volunteer Microops service directory be my AI2 of 5 and if I.
Want to activate something I just double tap. Let's say I'm on Be My AI Be My AI and I just double tapped on that and now I should be able to Be my AI settings. I'm back on the screen. I'm going to double tap to take a picture. And there you go taking a picture. In the foreground there is a microphone with a phone cover on a stand. Behind the microphone there seems to be a keyboard. Above the keyboard there is a shelf for Desk Surface with a computer monitor and a mouse on it.
I did all that just swiping and double tapping on the Be My AI setting within this app. So that's using the touchscreen right there. But I still have the ability to use My up and down bars as well. Be my AI first item. Take picture. Ask more home 1 of 5 I'm. Going to press OK to go back to home Home. Call a volunteer. Be My Eyes.
So now I'm back on the main home screen of the Be My Eyes app. Now, the point of this demo, once again, I'm going to turn off the touchscreen if you don't want to use it at all. And the way how you do that is you just press the pound button. That's the button at the bottom, right next to the zero if you press that. Touchscreen functionality.
So it comes up with two settings Touch screen functionality and now down bar to help. What you want is touch screen functionality and if you press OK on that enabled selected. 1 of 2 It says enabled selected. And if I press the down bar, it says disabled not selected. So I'm going to press ok, Disabled selected. It says disabled selected. So now what you want to do is you want to back out of this. I'm going to press the back button. That's the button above the number three.
Touch screen functionality. One of two, back out one more time. So now we're back in the main screen of this Be My Eyes app. So now when I press my touchscreen and I swipe around, I'm tapping, swiping, moving all around the screen with my finger. You don't hear it doing anything because the touchscreen is totally disabled now, but you still have the ability to maneuver with the bars. Now with the buttons.
First item, call a volunteer My groups Home. Select Be My AI Service Directory Community settings. So now I'm just using the buttons by itself, no touchscreen at all. And if you ever want to turn it back on, just press the pound key. Touchscreen functionality 1 of 2 It goes. Back into touch screen functionality. Disabled selected 2 of 2 It's on disabled enabled not selected 1 of 2. I can up bar and put it back on. Enabled. Press OK on that. Enabled selected.
Then I'm back out of that twice and now I'm back where the touchscreen is. Enabled. Call of all a night groups service. Community mic groups Call a volunteer Mic groups Service Directory 4 of 5. See, I'm just swiping around my finger right there and I still got control of my up and down bars as well. Settings. Last item, Community service director. Be my AI. So I'm going back out of this. Be my eyes 3 of 16.
So that's pretty much how you disable and enable the touchscreen on The Blind Shell Classic 3, this applies across the board. If you turn off the touchscreen, it'll be turned off on all the third party apps that you may have downloaded installed. Then when you turn it back on that means it's turned back on for the touchscreen function. But outside of that, like I said, you pretty much maneuver the phone the same way using the buttons. You don't have to use the touchscreen if you don't want to within the third party apps. I will say in some instances you may need the touch screen on to be able to access a particular setting that you may not be able to get to with the bars. So it's just a matter of experimentation and messing around with it. This only applies for the Classic 3, so if you got any questions, just hit me up at drizzle17tt.net that's D R I Z A17t T.net Peace thanks.
