Hello, this is Marcie. In today's Jaws tip, I'm going to show you how to use the FS clipboard. The FS clipboard is a feature of jaws that I use a lot. The FS clipboard allows me to take different text located in different parts of the document and combine it into one document. So what I'm going to do today is take the friendship Alphabet and only make a friend, someone who loves. So select the l portion, the O portion, the v, the e, and the S portion and combine it into one document.

A true friend docs word to move. So here I am in my true friend document, I'm going to select a true friend is one who. A true friend is one who. Selected. A true friend is one who and. I'm going to copy that to my clipboard. Copied. So there we go. We have that in the clipboard currently. Now I'm going to select come down to the letter l to select the.

First part of loves left, left, perennial, right and left left per ng right pure give left helps you left in just likes to quote be quote with left paren k, right parent keeps you close at left paran l right paren. So there's l loves you for who. You are and there is loves you for who you are. So I'm going to hit home l and I'm going to select this line. Selected loves you for who you are, comma.

Now, if I wanted to copy it to the clipboard, I would have to go and paste a true friend to my new document, but I'm going to paste it all at once. So what I'm going to do is append loves you for who you are to the clipboard by pressing Jaws key Windows key c appended. So you hear Jaws say appended. If you have your verbosity in beginner mode, Jaws would say appended to clipboard. Now we're coming down to the O offer support. So there it is. Offer support.

We will select offer support selected offer support, comma. And again, we'll use Jaws Windows key c and append offer support appended. Then we'll come down to values u. Left parent tells you left parent understands you. Left parent values you will do v and we'll select it selected values you comma. And then we'll do jaws key windows key c appended. And there we have the v of values you. Now we need to come back to envisions the whole of you, even the unfinished parts to complete the love word.

Top the friend left x left calls you left left envisions the whole of your left paren, even the unfinished so then we'll select this selected envisions the whole of you left Paren, even the unfinished parts, right paren comma and again. Our jaws key windows key c command appended and let's finish out loves with. Supports you give left left loves you left left parent picks you up left quiets your left paranor right raises your spear left paran says nice things about.

You or says nice things about you. Well, s so we'll do control Sierra. Selected says nice things about u control. End of course to select it, which is what I was going to say. But then jaws key windows key c will append this to the clipboard appended. Okay, so now we have it all in the clipboard. Now I want to show you two jaws tips in one how to view the clipboard text. Now if we want to see what's in the clipboard, we can press Jaws key Windows key x loves you for.

Who you are loves you for who you are. Offers support, values you envisions the whole of your left paren, even the unfinished parts, right Paren says nice things about you. Or we could press insert space and. Then the letter c clickboard text loves. You for who you are. Loves you for who you are. Offers support, values you envisions the whole of your left paren, even the unfinished parts right Paren says nice things about you. Press escape to close the clipboard text.

Viewer and there's another way to view the clipboard text. So it looks like I have loves you for who you are twice in the clipboard. So I'm back in the clipboard and I want to copy a true friend. So I'm going to paste this text into document. Document one word web layout edit paste it. So there we go. I have top loves you for who you are. Loves you for who you are. And I'm going to take one of these away. Top loves you for who you selected.

Loves you el and I want to remove it with a true friend. So I want to say a true friend loves you for who you are, offers support, values you envisions the whole of you, even the unfinished parts and then says nice things about you. But I want to say a true friend is one who so I'm going to go back to my friendship document. A true friend docs word edit and. I'm going to go back to the top.

The friendship elf blank a true friend is one who and I'm going to copy this selected a true friend is one who overwrite clipboard dialog. Pressing Ctrl C or Ctrl X will overwrite the clipboard. Do you want to continue this operation? Yes. Button to activate, press Spacebar Alt plus y.

So you see that you've been presented with the dialog that asks you do you want to replace what you have appended to the clipboard? And we do, because we have the text in the document already. So we'll press alt y or enter and say yes, copied edit. And so now a true friend is in the clipboard and we can check that with jaws key Windows x. A true friend is one who. Or we could check it with insert. Space and then see clipboard text. A true friend is one who you see.

So we have that in the clipboard and we can now go paste it in our document to show that a true friend is one who and then loves you, offers support, values, you, envisions the whole of you, even the unfinished parts, and says nice things about you. So that's your jaws tip. Enjoy jaws and help it make you productive. Thanks for listening to jaws tips with marcy.
