Hi, everyone. I thought I'd share a couple quick tips about notes. Maybe you know this already, but I learned something that I think, why didn't I know that before? I was listening to a podcast recently, one of my favorites called Macgeek Gab, and someone submitted a tip that I really appreciated, and I had never really thought about it. When you create a note, there is a little spot up at the top that says when the note was created. Well, what if you add to the note over time and you wonder, hey, when did I first start that note? When was it first created? Did you know that you can double tap when you have voiceover on, of course, on that date, and suddenly it changes to the date of creation, and then my understanding is that you double tap it again and it changes back. I did discover that it does change, indeed, when I double tapped on the date to change it from the last modified date to the created date. That was really cool. So I appreciate learning something from my mainstream podcast that also worked nicely with voiceover. The other thing that I wanted to share with you is the frustration I had initially when I was first keeping a good set of notes on the iPhone. I think to myself, okay, I'm going to go to this website, and I really love it. And so I'm just going to copy the link to the clipboard, and I'll just paste it in the note, and then I will have it for later access. Well, the only problem is the note is not a live link. You can't double tap on it then and actually go to that website. And so the solution is the share sheet. Maybe this is obvious to you, but it wasn't to me initially, so I thought I would share it. You want to go to the website, and then you're going to go down to the bottom, double tap the share button, and then you're going to choose notes, and then the note will open, and it will be like a little attachment link, and then it will allow you to add text into the note about this website. But when you open that note up again, you'll find a little attachment link that you can double tap on, and you'll be taken right to the website. And then you'll also be able to access the text that you have written about the website itself. So those are a couple of quick tips about notes that I hope will increase your productivity.
Hi, my name is Marty, and I'm going to show you how to search for apps in the App store on the iPhone. The first thing you're going to want to do is locate the App store icon on your home screen. Once you find that, you're going to want to do a single finger double tap to open up the app store. Then what you're going to do is go to the bottom and from the left side you're going to do a single finger swipe to the right until you hear the the search box. When you find the search box you do a single finger double tap to open up the search box at the top. You're going to put your finger into this search box and you're going to type the app you're looking for. In this case, we're going to look for CT learn Vo, then you're going to hit return. Your search query will come up right there below the search box. You're going to find the app CT learn Vo and do a single finger double tap to open that up. Once you open up the app, then you're going to start from the top and do a single finger swipe to the right which will take you through your functions. What you're going to want to do is swipe to the right until you hear get. When you hear get, you do a single finger double tap and that will download the app to your home screen.
Today I'm going to demonstrate for you, well, kind of show you if you're on video or walk you through in audio the Storm single ear noise canceling headset this headset is a very comfortable headset that sits over the top of your head. On one side you have a earpiece that kind of can pivot around a little bit to make it more adjustable. That on the outside of it has a button for your multimedia and then you have your volume keys and another button to control the mute on the device as well. This goes over the top of your head and to a end that just sits on the side of your head. The boom microphone can be brought down and moved all the way around in the headset so you can wear it on either side. Additionally, the headset does allow you to adjust it for larger heads and make it smaller for smaller heads. This headset is very good at noise cancelling. It was actually released for truckers. So if you've ever been in a big truck you know that they can get super loud, which means the microphone does a great job at canceling out background noises if you need to be heard clearly. One advantage to it being a single ear headset is if you're trying to navigate now, I don't recommend navigating outside, but if you're trying to navigate and you need ear open. You can open one, have one of your ears open, but you can also push the earpiece forward or back to open up your other ear and still wear the headset on your head. So the storm single ear headset is available. It's $119 us and well worth it. Oh, did I mention, look here at the bottom, there's a USB Type C charging cable. Most of your cables can charge it up.
