46: Overly Involved Mother: An Anonymous Interview feat. “ Nicole”.

In this episode I interviewed “Nicole”, who wished to remain anonymous. She shares a different aspect of toxic mothers that some would call MATERNAL ENMESHMENT. This can essentially be described as a mother being overly and inappropriately involved in their (in this case) daughters life. She lives through the daughter and depends on her for physical and emotional support in most cases. The mother does not want the daughter to have any independence and will guilt her if she has her own mind. There are many layers and degrees to enmeshment and in this episode you’ll hear “Nicole’s” version.
