27: Your Mama Lied to You
Episode description
In this episode, I discuss some of the lies that we were told by our mothers growing up. Mothers are supposed to uplift, encourage and inspire, but there are many that discourage, berate, and guilt. When you grow up hearing so many negative things about yourself, it is hard to see yourself as anything but what you were told you are. It's time for a change. All of the negativity your mama spewed at you in an effort to beat you down, were lies! Don't believe any of it! You are intelligent, capable and dope AF! How other people view you is NOT your business! Don't internalize that negativity!
