Episode description

Overview:

“Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you tithe mint and dill and cumin, and have neglected the weightier matters of the law: justice and mercy and faithfulness. These you ought to have done, without neglecting the others.”

-Matthew 23:23

When considering the weightier matters of the law, nothing is weightier than life and death. Because we live in a world in which abortion and racism are both realities, we can expect that abortion would disproportionately affect minorities. While this is a heavy topic, we did not feel we could avoid talking about it. We hope to do so in a way that hopefully points to the grace of Christ.
