SHAPE Middle School TOY Sarah Gietschier-Hartman

Sarah Gietschier-Hartman graduated from the University of Kansas with a Bachelor of Science in Health and Physical Education, and received a Master of Science in Health, Physical Education and Recreation from Emporia State University. She is an advocate for planned, progressive learning in #PhysEd, and her interests lie in standards-based instruction, formative assessment, physical literacy, and outcomes-based learning. Sarah is a middle school physical educator in St. Louis, Missouri, where she lives with her husband and two sons. She would like everyone to know that her last name rhymes with “itchier.”
