It's okay, he says, I'm not going to hurt you. Are you all right? You fight to catch your breath, looking frantically about for any sign of what was chasing you, but
see only trees. Then you realize that hideous noise has stopped. Looking up, you see the man clearly now for the first time, his weathered face and his straggly beard. Something was chasing me, you say, what was? He asks, looking round confused. You tell him everything about
the dead body and that horrible sound. Didn't he hear it? You ask, But the man just smiles to himself. Sounds like some one's imagination has got the better of them, he says. Just then you feel a sharp pain in your arm and look down to see that it's bleeding profusely. There's a deep gash just below the elbow. You must have done it when you were running. Please, I'm lost, you say, Can you show me how to get out? My parents will be getting worried. That looks nasty, he says.
Why don't we get my wife to fix it up for you. Then we can get you back to your parents. We live just over there. See he points toward a large wooden hut just visible through the trees, a small plume of smoke rising from the chimney. But you shake your head, please, you ask again, could you not just point me in the right direction? The man thinks for a moment, I'm afraid I can't do that, he says,
taking a small step towards you. I could point you in the right direction, he says, Only I get the feeling you'd be in here all night, walking around in circles. Much better I show you, don't you think? A large crow shoots out of a nearby tree. The man laughs. See it's only a bird, he says. Go on head toward the cabin while I finish my errands, and I'll be back soon to pick you up. You think, for a moment, if you decide to go to the cabin. Go to episode seven.
