Episode description
Tune in this week to hear the dynamic Pernilla Nordstrom share her story of high achievement, being driven by a mix of passion, dedication and FOMO (fear of missing out), only to lead to burnout. What followed was Pernilla learning in her forties, that she has ADHD (attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder).
Pernilla joins a growing number of adult women getting diagnosed with ADHD, and amidst some degree of controversy around this development it was great to hear some of her firsthand experiences and the importance to Pernilla of being able to identify a diagnosis and put the tools to manage it in place.
She has made it her mission to always walk her own way and talk about her story and diagnosis to address misunderstandings around ADHD in women as well as hopefully remove bias around what it means to live with ADHD and other types of neurodiversity in the workplace.
