NDEWO! Umu Igbo Unite- Austin Chapter ("UIU-Austin"), chartered in 2018, is a local chapter of the national Umu Igbo Unite organization. Umu Igbo Unite is a U.S.-based, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that consists of a wide range of professionals and college students of Nigerian Igbo heritage who reside in the United States. UIU-Austin was created to bring Igbo youths and professionals together, establish a sense of community and educate members about the rich Igbo culture, while giving back to local communities and ensuring the younger Igbo generation in Austin have role models to emulat
