In 1993 thirty head of cattle were found mutilated by various farmers. All had surgically precise openings with missing organs. The crime scenes were free of all tracks, and blood. At the scene of one mutilation a strange substance was found that turned to liquid when it came into contact with the brass tip of a ball point pen.
