Episode description

The U.S. Department of Defense has given yet another overhaul to its UAP identification program, announcing this week that the Airborne Object Identification and Management Synchronization Group (AOIMSG), will now be called All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office, or AARO for short. In describing the mission of the new office, a press release from the DoD indicates it will study in addition to UAP "anomalous, unidentified space, airborne, submerged and trans-medium objects." Also, the first unclassified investigation into UFOs called Project Sign determined that flying saucers were interplanetary objects. Although the U.S. Air Force now denies this fact, there was a report prepared by Project Sign in 1948 entitled "The Estimate of the Situation," a document some UFO researchers now refer to as "The Holy Grail of Ufology."
