Verse 13 talks about Jacob’s vow to God. That's a reference to chapter 29 where Jacob essentially makes a deal with God. Is it OK for us to make bargains with God?
We reject the prosperity gospel. But, does that mean that wealth is NEVER a sign of God’s favor?
