Join the Idiots as they discuss the remake/reboot/reimagining of the 1998 anime icon, Trigun.
We were a little hesitant about Trigun Stampede when we first heard about it. Grimm especially had some 'old bun yells at clouds' moments with the design choices and the animation style.
But we decided to sit down and watch it and, spoiler alert, we're both very glad we did. Released early in 2023, Trigun Stampede tells a new version of the story of Vash the Stampede, Nicholas D. Wolfwood, and Meryl Stryfe, and does a good job appealing to fans of the original, while still making it approachable for new fans and a younger audience.
In short, it's good. Go watch it.
