Idiots on Film: The Adam Project

The Idiots discuss the family action film starring Ryan Reynolds and Mini-Ryan Reynolds, The Adam Project.

Released in 2022 on Netflix, and starring Ryan Reynolds, Walker Scobel, and Zoe Saldana, along with Mark Ruffalo, Jennifer Garner, and bunch of other great supporting cast members, The Adam Project is, well, a Ryan Reynolds film. It avoids some tropes and pitfalls of the genre, and is better than it really has any right to be, but at the end of the day it's just a fun, rather forgettable excuse for Ryan Reynolds to be the wise cracking pretty boy action hero and save the day/world- except for Walker Scobell stealing the show as a miniature clone of Ryan Reynolds, capturing his snark and timing masterfully.

In short, it's worth watching if you enjoy watching Ryan Reynolds just Ryan Reynolds all over the screen.
