Episode description

Know a writer or someone who wants to be a writer? Then forward this post to them and invite them to listen to our writers podcast. Thank you!

In Episode 215 of our lovely award-winning podcast, it’s the economy, silly.

Every independent writer is a business to some degree, and all of us make tough decisions about how we spend our money. CC and I had dreams above traveling and doing book signings and stuff, but the current economy is not kind to indy writers. There are the Amazon and billionaire boycotts, not to mention how everyone has to do an extra budgeting just to buy eggs.

We use this space to talk about those challenges and what we’re doing to mitigate them, starting with our online bookstore and being careful on choosing events.

With these challenges, why do we do what we do? Because we love writing and we love meeting people who want to talk about writing.

Also mentioned: current editing/writing status, upcoming releases, kindness, and the importance of St. Patrick’s Day.

Have a listen and let us know what you think. TIA LYL!
