I'm just a wee little squirrel in a big man's world just trying to get in that.

Bryan GoodwinBryan Goodwin

Hey, man. Hello, and welcome to Two Grumpy Vets and a duuude. I am your host, Bryan. I am here with my other host, Rich Chelson, and then my other host, the duuude. And we are here today having a great old time. We've got a

got a great show. What we're gonna talk about, honestly, I don't know. Oh, because I actually I went off completely flubbed what I was gonna start with because I was I had a whole line of of jokes that I was gonna make up about, about, the duuude being in the land of the temple. Rich being in the land, of of  holy squirrels.

And mine, I was actually gonna just use the, the the random fact that my, town I live in is actually named after a king that was the king of both, both the, the Netherlands and England. But Mhmm. Anyhow, so I completely flubbed that up. So, anyhow, hey, guys. How y'all doing? Oh, yeah. Okay, Brian. I, you know, that that actually We're off to a great start tonight. Yeah. Alright.

Duuude-RonDuuude-Ron

Well, you know, obviously, it's been So what has been so then what is the name of the town? Canute. Oh, okay.

Bryan GoodwinBryan Goodwin

King Canute? King Canute. Yep. There is a there there King Canute was a was the king of of England for a while, but he was also the king of the Netherlands. Oddly enough, I don't know how he was able to be king of both, but somehow he was able to. And they, he was very much beloved in in, the Netherlands, during his rule, from what everything I've understood. This is back when the Vikings used to come over and and have, pick up their girlfriends out of England. So so it's a little wild.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

Leave the wive at home. Leave the wive at home and go pick up the girlfriends and then go sailing and take them back. And then oh, Lord have mercy. So, so, so how did you figure out that, Canute

Bryan GoodwinBryan Goodwin

was named after a king? Well, because, back in, 2007, while my kids were in school, that was Oklahoma's, Centennial celebration. They joined the, union in 1907. And, so they were throwing out little interesting facts of all the school of all the towns that were around us. Like, we have one town called Red Trop. And the only reason why it's called Red Trop is because there was already a porter Oklahoma, and the guy's last name was Porter,

and he wanted to make sure he had a town named after him. And since Porter was taken, he just spelled his name backwards, and we got retroped. And then, Canute was another one where they talked about it was named after a the the, another king in of in Netherlands. And, and yeah. So it was just kinda I I forget exactly what they said, why how Elk City got named for, Elk City. But, but yeah. Weatherford is named after a guy. His last name was Weatherford. Clinton, not a clue. But

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

You, sure, you, sure, Bill and Hillary wasn't in on that one? Yeah. No, no, no, no, no. That's that's Arkansas. Well, I I mean, where they live in Arkansas, isn't too far from Oklahoma, man. Yeah.

Bryan GoodwinBryan Goodwin

Oh, and, and we've already got our first correction.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

What's that? Pontification.

Bryan GoodwinBryan Goodwin

Okay. It is about speaking like, like we were saying, because I was giving out kind of what the definition of pontificate was.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

Uh-huh.

Bryan GoodwinBryan Goodwin

But it's too, not boldly, but, oh, crap. What's the word? Kinda snobbishly give a speech is essentially what it boils down to, where you're given because it's, it's the pontiff. So you're with, with, with authority, you're speaking with authority. So it can be that you're pontificating and you're speaking with authority, but it also can be that you're just speaking. Yeah. You know, speaking like a bully. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. So speaking

Duuude-RonDuuude-Ron

speaking down to people?

Bryan GoodwinBryan Goodwin

Yeah. Yeah. Pontification would also be kind of speaking down with people too. Yeah. Oh, okay.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

So it all depends on your tone that you have as to the meaning of pontification or pontificate. You know, I just love saying that word now. Thanks, Bryan. My pleasure. I just love saying that word pontificate.

Bryan GoodwinBryan Goodwin

That just, yeah. Today's word is convivial.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

So what? Who? Convivial.

Duuude-RonDuuude-Ron

Convivial. Alright. You're gonna have to give me a discount.

Bryan GoodwinBryan Goodwin

And the reason and I know this one because when I was actually toying with the using the word as the name of my of a social media company. But anyhow, it just means friendly, friendly, and inviting.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

Really? Yeah. When, did you happen to find out in in what time frame this this word was used in?

Bryan GoodwinBryan Goodwin

No. But I have heard it say, I I you don't hardly ever hear the word being used. Right. But I have heard it mentioned in a couple of, a couple books before.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

K. On Vivio. Right? Yep. Convivial. Convivio. That is oh, god. Oh, things will make you go Hmmm.. Yes. That's that's cool. That's cool.

Duuude-RonDuuude-Ron

Is it hmmm or damn?

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

This one I think is just

Duuude-RonDuuude-Ron

Oh, okay. Well, you let me know you let me know when I can get to the damn.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

Okay. I I I'll I'll do that for sure.

Duuude-RonDuuude-Ron

You guys know me. I'm a I'm a man of very few words that are literary.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

Better. Well, yeah, this is true. This is true. You will, you would tend to use easy words and and blame me. I appreciate that so much. Because well, you know what? Because listen, I love, I love, I love talking with Bryan. I really do, but sometimes, oh my God. Right over me. You know? And, you know, I gotta, yo, dude, back up a couple sentences. We need to talk about these couple words here, you know?

Bryan GoodwinBryan Goodwin

And I, I mean, I mean, Bryan answers them, you know, and and and the thing is Or at least the best of my ability or at least I'll bluff my way through it.

Duuude-RonDuuude-Ron

I Right. I was gonna say baffle baffle them with bullshit. Right?

Bryan GoodwinBryan Goodwin

Exactly.

Duuude-RonDuuude-Ron

Yeah.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

I You know, there's there's there's get that w.

Duuude-RonDuuude-Ron

Yeah. Well, you guys know that I speak 2 languages. Right?

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

Now what's that?

Duuude-RonDuuude-Ron

English and bad English. Anything anything other than that? Well, you know, I use some sign language. Now it's not American sign language. It's, bad English sign language.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

Yeah. I think I think I think we've all used that a time or 2.

Duuude-RonDuuude-Ron

Yeah. I don't know how many times because my truck being governed that I get told I'm the number one driver on the road.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

Well, you you know you know, it'd be funny. You know, when that happens, if, they can see you blow a kiss back at him and just, and just watch him just shit themselves. Seriously. I mean, they'd be like and then just speed up and take off because they're like, oh my god. He's gay. No. No. He can't get on me. I don't know. I'm just I'm just making shit up. You know, I've I've I've gotten told that I'm

Duuude-RonDuuude-Ron

the number one driver out there. I just give a thumbs up. That's what I'm talking about. Yes. I am the best driver out here. Yeah. If you don't my ego. Yeah. And if you don't like the way I drive,

Bryan GoodwinBryan Goodwin

go around me.

Duuude-RonDuuude-Ron

Right. You know, push past, push. What's that saying? Lead, follow, or get the fuck out of my way.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

Right. Right. And Yeah. It's funny. Cars have a hard time with that. They have a hard time following those simple little instructions.

Bryan GoodwinBryan Goodwin

Yeah.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

I know. I I it's like, I don't get it. It's simple. Either take the lead, follow behind me, or just get the fuck out of my way.

Duuude-RonDuuude-Ron

Yeah. Because I'm coming through. I had a semi I had a semi today, and I'm running with a freaking hazmat. Okay? This guy go through temple. He was on his phone or or whatever. So I'm at full throttle and I can get it to get it up to speed. Unrestime. And keep it squeaky. For her. That's right. And and I passed him. And then he comes on me.

Bryan GoodwinBryan Goodwin

And, I mean, you could probably

Duuude-RonDuuude-Ron

find cannot go any faster than that unless I'm unless I'm going and it picks the 60. And he pronounces me not at a good rate. I know he was doing 70 miles an hour. Gets in front of me and hits the brake. So he's back down to 62 miles an hour. I'm like, what did that just prove? So I get out from behind him and try to pass him, and he decides he wants to speed up. And I finally got around him, and he does it again. And this is a a semi driver. Yeah. I'm like, dude, what is your problem?

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

He's a little boy.

Bryan GoodwinBryan Goodwin

That's that Drive. Yeah. Some people like just like some people have a big case. The me me first me first. So they they gotta be first.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

They're just little boys and little girls that that act like that because, oh my God, you pissed them off because you didn't do what they thought you should have done. So they're gonna do everything to piss you off and they're gonna act whatever way. And I don't care if they're 80 or 20.

Bryan GoodwinBryan Goodwin

They're a little. Yeah. They get mad because they they, they wanna try to blame you for your their emotional distress. Yeah. And it's not your it's not your doing. They're they're mad because they made themselves mad. But again, that's, that that that's humans in in a nutshell. We're always getting mad at the fact that somebody else, did something that we did. And they didn't make us happy. And so we take it very personal.

Speaking of personally and stuff, you were, you were saying earlier today, Rich, you had bit of a a bit of an adventure today.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

Oh, yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Well, this, last night after our alright. After, vet call last night, you know, it was it was cool, but, you know, it was like, you know, we all jumped off around 10 o'clock or so. And, you know, I'm sitting there just messing around and finally it's like, man, I'm tired. I can't stay awake. So it's like, okay. I freaking go to bed. Take them headache powders, take some gabapentin,

2 of them. I'm like, you know, alright. Ought to be good. Ought to be passed out and and be roaring. No. No. No. Laid down in bed. Eyes went. I'm like, what the hell? So I get up. Right? It's like, because I'm sorry. I can't lie in bed and be awake. And, so I got up and, was, messing around. And about 1:30, I finally went to bed. Well, apparently those gabapentin decided to wait till then to kick in and didn't tell me about it. Because I woke, I woke up at 11 o'clock today

and I was like, what the hell? Oh, shit. I mean, yeah. My left side was like, dude, you do that again, and I'm really gonna fucking hurt. Like, and I'm thinking, like, you don't hurt now. Come on, dude. And so, I get up, take my pills, and I get my first cup of coffee. 1st cup, single cup. And and it's like, I've I've gotta have my cigarette. I walk outside. My neighbor sees he's outside. Jesus, sweetheart. And but, we start talking. And then it wasn't 10 minutes later.

The guy, a couple of doors down, Mr. Warren, nice guy, just awesome Southern gentleman comes up and wanting to talk. Now mind you, I'm doing all this on 1 cup of coffee, 1. Okay. My brain has been gone since. And, and, so, so, so, Mr. Warren and I got done talking and of course me, and once he left, I looked as soon as he I said, I'm getting another cup of coffee.

I cannot talk anymore unless I got more coffee in me. So I made another cup, went outside and, you know, cause cause I like to have a couple cigarettes in the morning just to, you know, get everything rolling and smoking and, you know, all like that kick started. And, and then, I was like, I need to go into town. And I I had plans to go play ham radio today. That didn't happen. Because by the time I got out the house, it was already 2:15. So from 11 to 2:15, I only had 2 cups of coffee.

And I, and, and, and, and, and I was, I had, I had more conversation than I had coffee. That's not a good sign.

Bryan GoodwinBryan Goodwin

Well, that's not good. It's not.

Duuude-RonDuuude-Ron

It's not that it's not a good sign. It is definitely not a good combination.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

Right. And so and so actually, I came in, took the shower, went out, did my running. And then next thing I know, oh shit, it's 5 o'clock. And I'm thinking, fuck, I gotta get home and eat. And then we got to do our show. I'm like, Holy crap. And I'm, I'm all the way over in past Kigoula. And so I come back. I stopped at the store, got a couple of things, made it back here and, finally got everything to eat and all like that and got done about 20 till 7.

And it's like, I still, This is like my 4th cup of coffee today. No. Yeah. Yeah. Normally, I have a pot. I don't have cup. I have a pot. So, yeah, that's that's been that's been my day.

Bryan GoodwinBryan Goodwin

Well, it means you probably, probably actually sleep tonight, you know. If you're if you haven't gotten yourself out, overly octane, it it should be, should be able to kinda pass out at a fairly respectable hour.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

Well, I hope so. I mean, either way either way, how

Duuude-RonDuuude-Ron

Speaking of octane. Speak speaking of octane. Right. I think I'm going to go, make some 93% octane.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

Okay. It's called instant. Hey, that works too. But, the thing is though, is that, I will be up regardless of how many hours sleep I get. I will be up by, by a 7:30 tomorrow.

Duuude-RonDuuude-Ron

Why is that? Got an appointment?

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

Yeah. I get to talk to my whole health coach, Heather.

Duuude-RonDuuude-Ron

Your what coach?

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

My whole health coach.

Duuude-RonDuuude-Ron

Okay.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

You need to get you all. I'm telling you, dude. They're cool because I've been talking to Heather now for 2 years or so, give or take. And, Yeah. A little more, I think. I I can't remember. I'd I'd have to ask her. She'd know. But, Yeah. We talked for, like, an hour, hour and a half, like, every 2 weeks. And, so yeah. And it and it always makes my day when I get to talk to her. So I will be up tomorrow at 7:30 regardless if I slept 30 minutes or 30 hours. Well,

Duuude-RonDuuude-Ron

because This with the VA? Is this with the VA?

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

Yeah. Yeah. Okay. Yeah. In fact in in fact, in fact, she's at the VA up in Des Moines up north. And, when I, got down here, I was asking I was asking my doc and all like that and, you know, if I could keep, you know, Heather as my coach. And she, she's like, yeah. You should be able to. And then she put in an order for for me to go through the whole health coach thing. And I get a phone call from the the, VA clinic over in Pensacola.

I'm like, okay. I don't live over there, but I and she was like, well, we'd gotten an order to sign you up for, a whole whole health. I'm like I said I said, honey. I said, I've already got a whole health code. And I you know, up from from up north, I said I said and I I said I wanna keep her. Is that okay? And she's like, oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. No, that's fine. She's like, I'll go ahead and, remove this order then. I'm like, okay. Thank you.

You know, cause there was a video they was wanting me to watch and I'm thinking, no.

Bryan GoodwinBryan Goodwin

No. We're not doing this all again. I've already done all this, like, 2 years ago.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

It's like it's like, no. I've got things set.

Duuude-RonDuuude-Ron

Is, was Barney the host of the video?

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

Oh, I don't. I don't know, dude. I I I, I did not partake in the viewing of that video. But, yeah, I I I Now you know who you know who Barney is. Right? Yeah. I know who Barney is. I love you. You love me. Yeah. I know. I trust me. I know who Barney is. Sad. Okay. Yes.

Bryan GoodwinBryan Goodwin

I mean, that is I shot Barney in the knee when the shot ring out. Barney hit the floor. No more purple dinosaur.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

Oh, shit. You know?

Duuude-RonDuuude-Ron

And when Barney came out, my daughter was year and a half old because her second birthday party was Barney.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

Yeah.

Duuude-RonDuuude-Ron

They did an informal study that stated 98% of the kids from 2 to 4 absolutely loved Barney. 98% of the parents that had kids that loved Barney, 98%, mind you, would like to shoot Barney.

Bryan GoodwinBryan Goodwin

Well, that's why when my son was 1, 2 years old, and he got in got around to watching PBS and all that, and Barney would come on. We made it I personally made it a point to point out that Barney was actually very evil. He hypnotized kids so he could eat them. And he told he told his kindergartner kindergarten, teacher that or pre, pre not kindergarten, but pre k teacher that. He's like, oh, we don't play with Barney. Barney's evil. He eats kids.

And, yeah. So we ended up having to have a discussion with the, with the kindergarten or pre k teacher. Yeah. You said That first week.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

I don't I don't understand that. It's just hey. No. That's what I believe you. Ain't going to change my mind.

Bryan GoodwinBryan Goodwin

Well, I've I've sat there and watched rambunctious kids who are just climbing the walls, just bouncing off of everything, turn that purple dinosaur on and just watch them go become docile, slack jawed, just glazed overlooking on the television. It's like, that's scary. No. We're not I mean, now we enjoyed Teletubbies. Teletubbies was was pretty darn cool, but it was just funny because their whole actions were just so quirky enough that we it was like, okay. Yeah.

Then that same company, I think it's the same company or at least from England, they had another one that came out that was just a absolute horrendous terrible mess. I think it was called boobah or something like that. And that one was a dis was was rather disturbing. Of course, you asked my wife, and the only one that nobody no one in our house could actually ever fully, fully like, off of the PBS kids stuff was, Okayu. He was just the whiniest little fucking bitch you ever come across.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

Yeah. I'd never heard of that one. You never heard of Caillou?

Duuude-RonDuuude-Ron

No. Man, in Teletown, I did not like Teletown. Oh,

Bryan GoodwinBryan Goodwin

the Teletowns are awesome.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

Say I I didn't freaking get into any of that until, Reezy came along and then it was PAW Patrol, dude.

Bryan GoodwinBryan Goodwin

Oh, yeah.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

PAW Patrol. PAW Patrol. Love PAW Patrol. PAW Patrol rocks, dude.

Bryan GoodwinBryan Goodwin

Well, yep. Okay. But I have, and I actually would recommend y'all sit down and just start watching them. They're short. They're great. Best dang little kids cartoons you ever seen. Bluey. Honest to God, man.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

Bluey?

Bryan GoodwinBryan Goodwin

Yeah. Bluey. It is, it's may it they're a bunch of Australian shepherds, Australian shepherd family. K. And, there is dad, there's dad, there's mom, there's Bluey, and then, the youngest one. I can't remember what the youngest one's name is. Is it spelled blueorblue? No. Bluey.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

Oh, e y. Okay. E y. Yeah.

Bryan GoodwinBryan Goodwin

And it is, and you watch it and you will find stuff in there. That's just hilarious because they they make little they make jokes and jokes, and they're all clean jokes. But at the same time, there there are things that you'll that'll catch you off guard. You go, you'll catch yourself laughing at them. Just the Okay. My, my my granddaughter, she she is, she is Gaga about, about Bluey,

and I understand why. It's just it's just a it's actually a and what's funny what's great about it or one of the big perks is that the, the, the alphabet mafia absolutely hates blue because they won't suck. They won't throw gay characters into it.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

Oh, okay. Okay. It is.

Bryan GoodwinBryan Goodwin

You have, you have like, all the different different dogs that were all part of the family. Like, Muffin. Muffin's, like, supposed to be the little 2 year old heathen. And he's just this rabid little shit that just runs around terrorizing everybody. Then you got the, they're always playing play pretend, so they, they turn all the, all the girls become the old grandmas and the old ladies, and they all just it's just it's a wholesome story. It's a wholesome, show,

and it it's funny. It is truly one of the best darn kids shows out in that I I haven't I'll hell, there's times I'll sit at the house and just be me, and I'll just turn on Bluey and

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

Hey, Brian? Dad. Hey, Brian? Yeah. Now now now what? You just wait in about 6 months when people are watching or listening to this episode, they're gonna go find Bluey. We're going to start a new fad of adults watching.

Bryan GoodwinBryan Goodwin

Old dude bluey.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

You ain't got nothing better to do. Turn on bluey. You know? Turn on bluey. Are you are you more dad or you uncle? You know? Right. Right. Yeah. That yeah. That'd be funny. And yeah. That would be really funny. Yeah. No. Breezy led PAW Patrol. So and, Andrew loves Curious George.

Bryan GoodwinBryan Goodwin

Hey. There you go.

Duuude-RonDuuude-Ron

There's a classic like the grandkids liked Paw Patrol and oh, what was the monster truck one called?

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

What? That monster truck one.

Bryan GoodwinBryan Goodwin

Yeah. Didn't know they had one that was monster trucks.

Duuude-RonDuuude-Ron

Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. TJ and the I'd have to look it up, but I think it was TJ and the monster monster trucks. I'd have to look it back up.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

Yeah. It's It's better. Well, I mean, I didn't know what Paw Patrol was until Breezy showed me. And at first, I was like, what the hell is this? And then, of course, I got hooked into watching them because me and Breezy would sit on the couch, you know, and then about this, about the second episode through, she was passed out on my lap and I'm still sitting there watching them, You know? And it's just like, man.

Duuude-RonDuuude-Ron

Did she ever get into, Octonauts?

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

No. I don't think so.

Duuude-RonDuuude-Ron

That was a that was a good show, the Octonauts.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

Yeah. I don't that show that show, I don't remember her getting into that. I can't remember.

Duuude-RonDuuude-Ron

Got into the boys got into Octonauts. And, I mean, that was truly a good show. I would sit there and watch it by myself Right. Without without the boys being in the room.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

You know, like, hey. Go on. There's a new episode. I'm gonna watch this. You'll go That's right.

Bryan GoodwinBryan Goodwin

You'll go outside play.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

Right. Right. Yeah. Now and, you know, the thing is, curious George, I can watch a couple shows with MJ, but after that, it's like, no. I can't.

Bryan GoodwinBryan Goodwin

Yeah. Well, it's kinda gets predictable. You know, that little damn monkey's gonna get into some type of trouble.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

Well, yeah. You know, I dude, I expect that because, I mean, it's like but but that's the thing, you know? It it's like it's like he makes noises and and everyone knows exactly what he's saying. You know? I don't know. It just I mean, I'm not I'm not knocking it because it is a good wholesome show, and it's a lot better than than a lot of the ones we have out. So, you know, I can't, I can't really complain about it too much.

Duuude-RonDuuude-Ron

Yeah. You, what they really need to bring back is Looney Tunes.

Bryan GoodwinBryan Goodwin

Oh, hell, dude. Why don't you Yeah. But then sadly, you got, you got too much violence in there for the, for the mothers in today. I mean, yo, Sammy Sam has guns. I mean, oh my god.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

Oh my gosh.

Bryan GoodwinBryan Goodwin

Elmer Fudd. Elmer Fudd. Elmer Fudd. Is hunting Elmer Fudd. Wildlife.

Duuude-RonDuuude-Ron

Yeah. Elmer Fudd is, Yeah. I'm hunt. It's Wabbit season. Oh, it's Wabbit season.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

Duck season. Yeah. No. It's yeah. Wabbit season. Duck season. Wabbit season. Duck season.

Bryan GoodwinBryan Goodwin

Yeah. Duck season. I said it's Wabbit season.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

Yeah. No. No. Honestly, yeah. Bring back Looney Tunes. You know? Popeye. Oh, yeah. Shit. Yeah. Bring back Popeye or Yogi

Bryan GoodwinBryan Goodwin

Bear. You know? Actually, the Popeye stuff you can find. If you've got a Roku channel, you you look up classic cartoons. You can get Betty Boop, Popeye. And a lot of those,

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

I ain't got Roku. Ah. I just I just use my PS 5. Yeah. So, I mean, I could still probably find them.

Bryan GoodwinBryan Goodwin

Oh, they're on they're on YouTube. You can find them on YouTube too.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

Yeah. Thing is, though, it's like it's like I get man, I squirrel so bad, every day, it seems like. You know, I was like, you know, I'll be like, I'll be like, okay. I wanna do this, this, and this. And it's like, okay. You know, and I'll I'll start on one project I'm doing. And it's like, okay. I'm gonna run-in a town for a minute. It'll be 2 hours before I even get out of the house to go run into town. And then it's like, I'm just getting

no. No. And then I wanna do this. I wanna go play ham radio and shit. By that time, it's 33:30 4, which I still can because it's daylight till 7, 7:30. You know? But still, it it it just like and then if it's like Wednesday or Thursday, it's like, oh, crap. No. Sorry. I got phone calls. You know? I mean, it's it dude, it's a struggle sometimes. I know some To get everything done. I agree. Right?

Duuude-RonDuuude-Ron

You have such a hard life. What? I I just I cannot fathom how how strenuous and, you know, your the time constraints that you have to have on yourself because of being retired.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

Tell him, tell him, tell him, I knew he was going to come out with that.

Duuude-RonDuuude-Ron

Oh man.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

I know.

Duuude-RonDuuude-Ron

But, dude, really? I was on the clock today for yeah. I was on the clock today for almost 12 hours.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

Wow.

Duuude-RonDuuude-Ron

Yeah. So I had to make a double run. Right. And I get to make a double run again tomorrow.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

Oh, what the hell? Yeah. I said, now hell no. Yeah? I mean, yeah. It yeah. It's money. I know. But still Yeah. You know? I mean I mean, you know, money is great and all that, but is it really worth all that headache?

Duuude-RonDuuude-Ron

Well, the damn fucking lottery numbers won't go in my favor. So

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

Well, Ron, I can't help you with that, man.

Duuude-RonDuuude-Ron

I know. Really can't help you. But the but the bill man cometh.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

Well, I understand that, but you know what? There's places to hide where the bill man can't find you.

Duuude-RonDuuude-Ron

I would love to just find a big rock. No. Go to Chile.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

Go to Chile. Why would I wanna do that? Or or or, is it there's a one freaking country in there that doesn't have extradition, and they can't get to you. You could go down there and live, you know, don't have to worry about it. Ecuador. I know I know there's there's one down through there that that they, no one can really catch you. So so, yeah. And and since you are since you are non computer literate or, you know, then the bill man can't find you. You know?

So they would just, you know, be like, shit. Write it off and then put it on your credit report. But but if you go down to select South America, it's like, you know, $10 you're a freaking king. You know?

Duuude-RonDuuude-Ron

Yeah. See. No. Thank you. I just nah. I'm good. Okay. Well, I'm just saying And you and you and you know why? And you know why? What? You know what the cost of exportation is for Jeep parts?

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

Well, no.

Duuude-RonDuuude-Ron

But It's, like, freaking double.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

Okay. Okay. Hang on, though. Let me ask you this. Why don't you find find a guy named Juan and see if he could get you to parts for, like, next to nothing or, or, or maybe make the parts. See, to think outside the box here. Because I mean, you know, what do you what do you think they do in in, Cuba, you know, with with all them old cars?

Duuude-RonDuuude-Ron

Oh, I know.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

Or or they scavenging. You know? Yeah. Yeah. I mean, dude, you'd be you'd be riding around. You would be a half a half a boat. I mean, everybody would be like, if I you know?

Bryan GoodwinBryan Goodwin

Yeah. I don't know. See? So why would they be calling him Jeff?

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

No. That's boss. You know that. FA?

Bryan GoodwinBryan Goodwin

I thought Petrone was boss.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

Well, that is 1, but, FA is is, boss as well.

Bryan GoodwinBryan Goodwin

Didn't know that. No. No. Really? I am I am very illiterate with with, with with Mexican.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

Well well, what what, what a language are you learning? Because I see you have gone 5 days streak with Duolingo. I'm doing Italian.

Bryan GoodwinBryan Goodwin

Oh, you're do okay. Okay. Yeah. And the reason why Italian, because it's not Spanish. It's close to Spanish. It's just it's right there next door. I mean, they're they say c for yes and no for no. And and you have, and you have latte and and and and cappuccino and, and c. What is the, what is the, say Leucro is for sugar. Oh, shoot. What was the see, cafe is coffee, croissant. Oh, it's Coroneto. Yeah. It's just Coroneto. Coroneto. Not Coroneto. It is corn, c o r n eto.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

Cornetto. Cornetto.

Bryan GoodwinBryan Goodwin

I believe that's what it is. Yeah. That's the one that keeps hanging me, Giving me a big, a big prop.

Duuude-RonDuuude-Ron

Bless you. Bless you, Rod. Thank you. So why can't they just say croissant?

Bryan GoodwinBryan Goodwin

Because that would be French.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

And God forbid if the French and the Italian Can't have the French,

Bryan GoodwinBryan Goodwin

Italian speaking French. What type of world you get that you fall into? Gee whiz, man. Oh my god. World War 3 would start over that, dude.

Duuude-RonDuuude-Ron

Oh, lord. Well, that showed that that shows to be how stupid I am, I guess.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

You're not stupid. And just it's just some it's just something you had had never learned. Yeah. It it and it doesn't make you stupid.

Duuude-RonDuuude-Ron

You know? You know? And I always and that's very true. That is very true. You don't you don't have the knowledge because you've never been in that situation. But the one phrase that I always come back around when people are talking about, like, country music or the you know, talking about heavy metal rock and do this and that. The statement always comes around from smoking a bandit when the bandit is telling frog, it all depends on where you're at in the United States as to how stupid you are.

Bryan GoodwinBryan Goodwin

Mhmm.

Duuude-RonDuuude-Ron

Which is very true. You know? If you don't know, like, Louisiana is French and Cajun like that. Right. Okay. The way they speak and all that other stuff and, you know, their heritage. And if you're somebody from New York, you know, you don't have a clue on, you know, their heritage. And they may not have a clue on a New Yorker's heritage, but it all depends on where you're from in the United States as to how stupid you are.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

Right. But see, the thing is, you see, actually, that's where the the word in that case should be ignorant as in as in the dictionary term and actually stupid. Believe it or not, this is my opinion now. This is not based on any fact because I haven't looked it up. But in, but in my opinion, stupid is basically doing something that you know is not gonna work and is and is not gonna be right. That's stupid, but that's my opinion.

Duuude-RonDuuude-Ron

Yeah.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

So but yeah. No. And and see, that's the thing. You know? If you don't know, say and I mean, yeah, I've called myself stupid before, but because I've done something, now when it's not gonna fucking work, so I call myself a dumbass.

Duuude-RonDuuude-Ron

Yeah. Well yeah. Yeah. That's about to And we call and we'll call you a dumbass too. You know? Right. You know, just not yourself will be called dumb you calling yourself a dumbass. We will help you with that

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

as well. You know what? I very much appreciate that, Ron. It it just warms the cockles of my heart that I know you and Brian have my back on that.

Duuude-RonDuuude-Ron

The cockle of your heart.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

You never heard of that?

Duuude-RonDuuude-Ron

No. No. There's the Showtime. Another $3.75 word.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

What was that, Brian?

Bryan GoodwinBryan Goodwin

I said, there you go. There's our there's our show title. Cockles of the heart.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

That's. Oh, Lord. Oh man. I thought, I thought, I thought everybody had heard that. That's an old term.

Duuude-RonDuuude-Ron

No. I'm from Nebraska.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

I'm sorry.

Duuude-RonDuuude-Ron

Well, it wasn't my choice.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

Well, yeah. Oh, yeah. You know, at least at least you at least you got out when you could and you stayed

Bryan GoodwinBryan Goodwin

out. Yeah. But cockles, yeah, you're right. Cockles has been around forever. I mean, that's, Mary, Mary, quite contrary. How does your garden grow? Silver bells and cockle shells and pretty maids all in a row. Right. So the the the cockles of of the heart is just, you know, the the the flora, whatever, now and I'd have to look it up. I can't quite remember what a cockle chiller is. But if I'm thinking right, it's some type of flower.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

Yeah. I think it is. I I'm not sure. Like I said, I was I was god, I was a kid when I heard that. And, I mean, it was used, a few times, and so I learned, you know, I learned I learned what it meant and, everything. And, yeah, I've just I've used it. I hell. I thought I thought everybody knew it.

Duuude-RonDuuude-Ron

Well, not me.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

Okay. Well, now you do.

Duuude-RonDuuude-Ron

No. Now I get now I have broadened my horizon.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

Yes. My god. There we go, man. See, that's the goal of every day, broaden your horizon.

Duuude-RonDuuude-Ron

No. That's shoot the and then shoot those that get in my way. Right?

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

That's right. That's exactly right. Now notice I I I am not having my glass of water, anywhere near my my, laptop.

Bryan GoodwinBryan Goodwin

Very right. That's that's a glass of whiskey. Good job. We wanna make sure that's just, we can, we can keep that close because I know you're not gonna spout to let that spill. No. No. God, no.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

No. I I wouldn't let that spill, but yeah. Yeah. That was

Bryan GoodwinBryan Goodwin

that was Well, once you go ahead and enlighten the, the, the, the audience on that little adventure there, Rich. Oh, that adventure. Yeah, that was,

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

that was, yeah, we had just, recorded last week and computer had had 2 2 weeks, 2 weeks, maybe, if that. Anyway, I went to get a drink and I kept it near my laptop, and I thought I had a hold of it. And, yeah, my hand said otherwise.

Bryan GoodwinBryan Goodwin

And so it just he went off and broke the cardinal rule of, of, of laptops. Never have your drink close to the laptop.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

Yeah. I broke that cardinal rule and it spilled all over this laptop and the screen flashed and flickered and I'm like, oh, no. And, and I tried to wipe up the water and all like that, and I had to tilt tilt the laptop. And and then I hit the power button. It said no bootable disk. Oh, crap. So now this was on Friday when this happened. So I called because I bought it from Best Buy. I called Best Buy, set it up to go see him the next day, went saw

him, took the computer, showed the dude and he saw the same thing I did. No bootable disk. He's like, yo, dude. Can't help you. You're done. I'm like, well, dude, I need a laptop regardless. So I, apparently, I'm gonna go have to buy another one. It's like, okay. And so he put that let the the laptop I brought in on the back counter.

Well, I'm over at the laptops looking and, oh my God, I see this one here, 24 gigs of Ram, 2 terabyte hard drive its own separate, g force RTX video card with 6 gigs of Ram by itself, you know, OLED display. I'm just like, I'm just like nutting on myself. It's just was awesome. And then the salesman guy comes up, and we was talking about it. We were geeking out over it because he hadn't even had a chance to look at it.

And, so I I bit the bullet and went ahead and bought this, and I won't tell you how much it costs because it's it's not cheap. I mean, it's not as cheap as one would think, but it's not cheap because

Duuude-RonDuuude-Ron

Okay. So enlighten us. So please enlighten us. What what was the ballpark?

Bryan GoodwinBryan Goodwin

13. My guess is plus grand. Yeah. Plus grand.

Duuude-RonDuuude-Ron

Okay.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

Yeah. Yeah. Grand plus. Well, let's just say that. I mean, yeah, it was pricey. But anyway, so I get it. And then Sunday, Best Buy calls me. It's about 1 o'clock in the afternoon And, I'm like, what the hell is Best Buy calling me for? So I answered it and he's like, hey, dude. It's Aaron from Best Buy. Remember me? I said, yeah. What's up? He's like, you know, your computer you brought in? I said, yeah. I said, I said, dude,

it was sitting on the back counter and I just figured I'd try it for whatever. He says, it works. I said, get out of here. He's like, no, man. It works. And so I was I was like, what? He's like, well, if you want, you can come get it. It is your computer. You bought and paid for it. I said, dude, I just bought a freaking computer. He says, yeah. I know I looked. And I saw the one you bought. And he's like, dude, that yeah. That thing rocks. He's like, well, hang on. He's like, I can, return this

and get you your money back. I said, really? He said, yeah. It works. It's working so I can return this to the manufacturer. Hell, yes. Sign me up. So he did that. Shit. The money was back in my account by Monday. And this on Sunday when he did it, money was back in my account on Monday because I I was like, yeah. There after after having this laptop, yeah, it'd be really, really hard to go back to anything less. Oh, okay. So that's a detail I didn't understand.

Bryan GoodwinBryan Goodwin

So you actually returned your old laptop that you you baptized, with with with an accident.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

Right. Well, well say, I was thinking since it was so new, I was thinking, hopefully praying that, that there was, there was a chance that I could maybe get it returned, exchanged, whatever, something like that. Right. Okay. I wasn't I wasn't you know? But yeah. No. They said the manufacturer warranties only covers defect, not spills. So yeah. So yeah. That's so yeah. And then and then when the guy flipped it on and it started working,

he called me up and he's like, dude, you can come get it if you want. It's yours. And then he's like, well, since it's working, you know, he says, I just wanna tell him it's, you know, water damage. I'll just send it back to the company. Give you your money back. I'm like, sold.

Bryan GoodwinBryan Goodwin

So you basically got got, your new computer for half price, essentially?

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

Maybe not half price, but a lot less than full price, let's put it Right. So yeah. Yeah. So, yeah. And, yeah, it's been so, yeah. Now, now I keep all my,

Bryan GoodwinBryan Goodwin

all beverages are on the other table.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

Right? I've got a, I've got a 6 foot long plastic table right here on the side of me. All my drinks go over there. No. I'm not. No. Because, yeah, this would yeah. I would I would yeah. Have to cry. I would. I really would because that's I mean, oh my god. It's fast. So who

Bryan GoodwinBryan Goodwin

so who's the manufacturer of the of your new one?

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

ASUS, a h u s.

Duuude-RonDuuude-Ron

A say that again?

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

A s u s.

Bryan GoodwinBryan Goodwin

Yep. Asus or Asus or however you wanna pronounce it. Yeah. Asus. I was Not Jesus. Jesus.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

Yeah. Well, you know, you say, Hey, Sus. And I bet, I bet, I bet 3 of them will turn around and say, what? Okay. Hey, Capasa. You know? Yeah, no, but yeah, I got, yeah, this one. Yeah. I was I was I was shocked, so that's why I was like, because I had to leave with a computer because we were working on, the first episode and I had I had no way to to, to, get anything done or even help to get anything done. So

Duuude-RonDuuude-Ron

You mean kinda like the help I'm giving?

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

You help tremendously, man. Yeah. You do, Rod. You like you like what's what's the word? I'm just a I'm

Duuude-RonDuuude-Ron

just a dude in the world.

Bryan GoodwinBryan Goodwin

I'm just a dude?

Duuude-RonDuuude-Ron

Yeah.

Bryan GoodwinBryan Goodwin

Oh, little old me.

Duuude-RonDuuude-Ron

Yeah.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

You're listening, dude. Course, man. We're like we're like lost without you, dude.

Duuude-RonDuuude-Ron

I'm just a wee little squirrel in a big man's world. Just trying to get in that.

Bryan GoodwinBryan Goodwin

Okay.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

I was I was gonna say.

Bryan GoodwinBryan Goodwin

I mean, that's now that's now part of the Internet, man. Sorry. It's there forever.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

I probably wouldn't have said that out loud, but okay. Right. Love you, brother.

Bryan GoodwinBryan Goodwin

The internal dialogue, external dialogue, man. I mean,

Duuude-RonDuuude-Ron

what is somebody gonna come to find me and shoot me?

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

No. No. No. No, Ron.

Bryan GoodwinBryan Goodwin

He I I love how I love how pure Ron is. I mean, he just completely oblivious to all gay in windows that keep he keeps throwing out. It's just,

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

okay. Now run.

Duuude-RonDuuude-Ron

I had you know what? Now that you said that, I had no freaking idea. Absolutely. That that was from another genre on a cartoon movie.

Bryan GoodwinBryan Goodwin

Right.

Duuude-RonDuuude-Ron

Parts over or something. I don't remember. But it's like never in a 1000000 years would I put it into

Bryan GoodwinBryan Goodwin

a dad. You can't fucking You gotta have a dirty mind, man. See? See it? Look how pure and innocent you are.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

No. See, Ron Ron, what we're saying, someone will hear what you said, you know, about about being another, having another whatnot, everything like that. And, they're gonna laugh like crazy because their minds are

Bryan GoodwinBryan Goodwin

are as bad as mine. Yeah. Yeah.

Duuude-RonDuuude-Ron

Okay.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

So

Duuude-RonDuuude-Ron

So so to be a squirrel in a big man's world, just try to get a nut. Yeah. Okay.

Bryan GoodwinBryan Goodwin

It sounds a lot dirtier than what what you're meaning for too, but yeah. Yeah. And I know what you're saying. It's just

Duuude-RonDuuude-Ron

Okay. So let's go back to let's go back to the primary aspect of my life. Prozac. Because sometimes you feel like a nut, sometimes you don't.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

Oh my god. Right? Oh, wow. You you just yeah. You're the bomb, dude.

Duuude-RonDuuude-Ron

I just I try my damn bit.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

Right. Right.

Bryan GoodwinBryan Goodwin

So, Rich, what, what games you playing these days?

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

You know, actually, I haven't really played any game. The last one I the last one I did play oh, crap. I think I tried a new one if I remembered. Right? No. Because I didn't.

Bryan GoodwinBryan Goodwin

I haven't I know you've tried, Cyberpunk 2077

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

while it was, Yeah. I I need to get back on the Cyberpunk because you see, I'm I'm at the, training where I need to go distract the guard and then, and then go basically knock him out or kill him. And I'm putting no weapons and I'm stuck right there. I can't, I can't, I can't freaking get past him because I started hitting him and on, you know, knocking him out. And then he like shakes his head, stands up, pulls his pistol, pah, kills me.

Bryan GoodwinBryan Goodwin

Do you have a cyber deck on your, in quip? I don't know. Apparently I just completely just blew your mind on that one. Yeah. I was gonna say, yeah, I think you did. It just went. Okay. Yeah. Well, most of the time you get started, you start out with just a very small, what the, in cyberpunk that is called cyber deck And it allows you to throw add hacks to it so you can do, like, short circuit or weapon glitch or or cybernetic, glitches or and things like that. And you can Okay.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

So

Bryan GoodwinBryan Goodwin

Okay. Because you Have you had the, have you had the combat training yet? I think I'm doing that now. Oh, Okay. So, yeah, it's just, you just gotta figure out how to, how to actually,

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

whoop his ass. Yeah.

Bryan GoodwinBryan Goodwin

Okay. Actually, you just gotta figure out how to sneak past his ass, I think, is what it is. Unless it's the one where you gotta sit there and punch him and then, yeah, that gets to be kinda.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

Well, I I think I think I have to punch him because, the few times that I have, I I see his little status bar go down go down. And it's like, I know I'm hitting you harder than that, you motherfucker, but it it it only goes down so far. And then he's like, yeah. Okay. We're done.

Bryan GoodwinBryan Goodwin

Boom. You're done. Okay. Now now if he's pulling out a gun and you don't you've and you're not able to have the gun yet, then no. It's, I would say probably is closer to you needing that or, actually might be what it is is you need to sneak up behind them and you, hit grab. Okay. And then when you grab him from behind, you have the ability to either incapacitate or kill. Okay.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

Okay. I'll try that then because you And I think grab is square if I'm thinking, right? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I think you're right. Grab is square. But, yeah, I'll try that because, yeah, that's that's, where I'm stuck right now in cyberpunk. I mean, it looks cool. It's I mean, it looks fun. Oh, it's beautiful. If you go into settings and stuff and the graphics

Bryan GoodwinBryan Goodwin

side and turn on the ray tracing and all, just turns into just this beautiful masterpiece. I mean, it's a, it's a great game. I mean, it's hard to believe that just 2, maybe 3 years ago, it was just a flaming pile of dog crap, just as glitchy as could be. You'd be running along and all of a sudden you'd fall through the map. You'd what? Fall through the map? You'd be running along, and and you would just there'd be places where you just happen to fall out in a hole in the map, and you just

you'd fall through the map. You you'd go to hit something and it would sling you about 5,000 feet up in the air. You go to try to drive a car or you try to scare, scare somebody. A lot of times, because the crowds in the city were supposed to all kinda react to you being, you know, just this chaotic force in in the world.

And so, like, if you shot at a bad guy, everybody around was supposed to, run, but there was times that it would glitch. And so you'd you'd fire, and everybody would revert to the default NPC pose, which is this people standing up straight with their arms out to the side. So you'd have all these people all of a sudden just standing there being teased, and you're like, what the heck?

You'd have people driving down you'd have NPCs driving motorcycles, except they're standing on there in their in their, in their t pose, their default pose stuff. It was just Yeah. It was it was a horrendous terrible mess. You could only play for, like, 5 to 10 minutes, and the, and the game would crash. Wow. So yeah, it was, and I mean, they, they got to, they got into a lot of trouble for it.

Right. And they have turned it around and they have made it this amazing game now. And it's a beautiful game. I know just the story itself. I mean, you can all all the the side quests Yeah. Are fascinating because there's not a good, bad, good, bad, decision. It's, really ambiguous. You might choose something and it'd be okay, except, you are always gonna get these little shards from people,

from people. And they kind of tell put together a a story about that, about the underworld of of night city. And so you may kill somebody who is the, who is after somebody else who has done some somebody else wrong. Who's done this other person wrong. And so if you key, you may kill 1 person, but that's gonna cause this other guy to this other bad guy to have, to have his, to have a good day.

Okay. And then when you get around to taking out that that guy and making his day bad, you know, depending on what you choose, you may end up causing another, another person to have, a bad day or, you know, it's a very ambiguous, chain of events and it, it everything's kind of how they got everything to connect together like they do is is phenomenal. And, and, no, just so just so you know Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. And but I will let you know that, you've got, romance abilities in here.

Okay. And so if you're running around as a guy, you'll you'll you'll enjoy the Pan Am in the tank, scene. Just to let you know on that one. K. But if you play as a girl, you're supposed to have you're supposed to have fun times with, with a girl named Judy and you'll figure out who Judy is down the road.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

That don't sound like a fun time.

Bryan GoodwinBryan Goodwin

I don't know. It depends on which way you wanna swing, man. But now it's all in all, no cyber punk is, is probably my second favorite game right now.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

Okay.

Bryan GoodwinBryan Goodwin

Red dead 2 is still my favorite. Just that whole story arc is phenomenal. And yes, I know it starts off real. It starts off cold,

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

but it gets better. Yeah. I'm I, I mean, I'm, I'm in the warmth. I just, I don't know. I just, I I'm actually waiting for the townspeople to cool down because I think they're still pissed off because I, because I went in and accidentally well,

Bryan GoodwinBryan Goodwin

while it killed a prostitute. Well, if you got a bounty on your head, yeah, they're gonna be a little pissed. But if you don't have a bounty on your head, they they nah. Now if you go off and shoot like the, if you go off and accidentally shoot the, like the shopkeeper Right? And you go back in, he's gonna remember that you shot him. Oh. And he'll actually even have, like, if you shoot him in the arm, he'll have a bandage on his arm and stuff.

So like I said, it, these, the, the thought that went into these games is just phenomenal. Right. But, yeah, Red Dead, is still my still my favorite followed by by, Cyberpunk. And, right now, you know, I'm playing I'm still I'm playing around with, with Borderlands, 3 just bouncing around in it.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

That's fun.

Bryan GoodwinBryan Goodwin

Yeah. Yeah. It's it's actually a lot of fun. Funnier than hell. 1 (1h 45m 20s): Yeah. It is. The only thing that is, is the weapons are kind of set. Some of them. Not well, most Yeah. Yeah. You get some a lot of them that are I've I've got a couple of, couple of legendaries that have got, that have got corrosive on them, and they're they're great until I come across a boss and all it seems like all the bosses are are resistant to corrosive. It's like, right. Damn it.

So, but now playing that one and

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

I was asking Ron if you fell asleep on us. Sorry. I thought I thought you were done.

Duuude-RonDuuude-Ron

No. No. I'm here.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

Okay. Okay. Just checking, dude. Okay. But,

Bryan GoodwinBryan Goodwin

yeah. Go ahead. But try but I'm kinda balanced between that one and I'm got an old, an old p, PlayStation game, near automata. Never heard of that. Or automata, if you wanted potato, patata. And, Haters.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

Haters, Todd.

Duuude-RonDuuude-Ron

Haters, Todd.

Bryan GoodwinBryan Goodwin

But it's a but it's a I don't I've just kinda started started with it just because I got to a point on on on Borderlands where I was just like, oh, screw it. Right. Just kinda kinda threw my hands up in the air and just said, never mind. I don't wanna play this anymore. Because I made the mistake of going into the heck hole, and I'm just by myself.

Oh, no. Yeah. Yeah. Sat there and I fight that the fight the the the main honcho there, and I'd get them all get them worked down about halfway, and then he'd put a shield up and heal and and all that. And I was just like Down there down there with, with, with all his minions and all like that. Yeah. Yeah. That guy. Oh, yeah, dude. You, yeah. Hey, you gotta sit there and shoot those 3 spheres to blow them up. Yeah. And those damn things are freaking bullet sponges.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

Yeah, no, no, you gotta shoot them and then shoot all them guys. And then, and

Bryan GoodwinBryan Goodwin

with the man And then hit him. But but what it is is that's one of those things you actually have to, you have to actually it works better when you have multiple people so that you've got, like, 3 people who are taking care of the, taking care of the orbs so that you get rid of them, the orbs really fast. And then the 3rd guy or the 4th 3rd or 4th guy just runs around and just blows the heck out of the, out out of, out of the the main guy.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

Now now the thing is, though, do you, do you refill quick when you get hit?

Bryan GoodwinBryan Goodwin

What do you mean by refill? Like, well, the life or the, or my, Yeah. Yeah. You can tell. For the shield, is it? It it it well, the shield itself heals, goes pretty good. I've found one that is think I've got an 8 or 900, shield. So it's like a 900 units of shield

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

protection in there. Okay. Okay. Because because the thing is because because I've beat that guy before. It's it's harder now. It took me like 5 or 6 tries. Okay. Took me, like, 5 or 6 tries, but when I got all the minions out and then those orbs and stuff like that, When I went to working on him, I'd nail him about 3, 4, about 4 times, and then I'd roll over to another side and then hit him again. And I I just kept sticking and moving.

And and and I and I only hit him about 4 or 5 times and then stick and move because this way here, it doesn't drain him too fast. So he's like, oh, I, oh, I need to,

Bryan GoodwinBryan Goodwin

shield up.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

Yeah. And so and so by, like, the 3rd or 4th round, you've got him to where you're 4 or 5 and then and then go, like, 6 or 7 or 8 shots. You can take him all out and you get a whole, a whole bunch of shit.

Bryan GoodwinBryan Goodwin

I mean Yeah. I figured you got a bunch, but Yeah. I was, just I I I went through, I don't know, probably 6 cycles of him shielding up and fill and and healing back up. And I'm running around blowing all the all the bad guys to pieces and and, then taking going through and just shooting the hell out out of, out of each of the spheres. And then by the time I got out of them all blown up, he's already full health again. I'm like,

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

Yeah. That's why you hit him, move, hit him, move, hit him, move. And then just once he gets, once you get him down past to, you know, about a quarter left and then land to it, pray to God, you don't run out of bullets.

Bryan GoodwinBryan Goodwin

Well, I had never run out of bullets. It's ever seems like everybody drops plenty of them, but Right. But, yeah, it was just a it was, like I said, after about the the bajillionth time of of him refilling and stuff, I was just like, screw it. Screw it. Braves quit.

We're we're done with this bullshit. And so I was like, alright. Well, I've got near automata, so let's let's get him let's download this one and play it. And what it's supposed to be is it's supposed to be a very distant future, and, you're a, an Android of some sort from what I understand, and you've got, and

I like I said, I'm just started. I'm maybe an hour in and, trying to get past and and I know why everybody talks about how this is the the main thing about this, game is it's got save points. So you can't just go along and go, okay. Well, I'm gonna save here. Okay. Well, I'm gonna save here. Okay. Well, I'm gonna save here. You can't save just whenever you want. And the tutorial deal is an hour long. Oh, shit. Tutorial. And you've got this big ass boss, with, boss fight that you have to beat.

And I'm struggling beating him, beating it because apparently all of it it's a it's a it's a robotic, dredger that has basically become sentient and has gardened something on this, on this, on this, not oil reserve, but, this, the this petroleum plant is what it kinda reminds me of. Well, what do you do?

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

No wonder why it started to get into, I mean, shit. You sealing from the government. That ain't gonna be shitting.

Bryan GoodwinBryan Goodwin

But, I'm just waiting for and, the remaining reason why I'm playing that one as hard as I am is just that it's, that, playing that one is because I'm still waiting for, Elden Ring to, to finally drop in price enough to where I could go off and buy it. So cause that's the actual game that I'd really like to play.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

What's that Elden ring you said? Yeah. Yeah. I never heard of that one. I don't think it doesn't ring a bell. I've probably seen it. I just I just didn't Oh, yeah. Pay attention. But yeah. So, yeah, so far, I mean, that's that's about what I'm doing on there. It's just I get, yeah, at night, I squirrel so hard that,

you know, it'd be like, I'm gonna go play a game. Oh, wait, look, I've gotta do this. And then I've got, and I mean, it could be something as well. Shit. I've got clothes in the dryer from now 4 or 5 days ago when I did laundry. And it's like, I'm gonna fold my clothes. No, I ain't. They're still in the dryer. I might I might I might try and get them by Sunday, but we'll see.

Bryan GoodwinBryan Goodwin

We're gonna have to we're gonna have to make a little change on this. I didn't prepare my phone properly while I'm doing this because yeah. For so for those of y'all behind the, behind the scenes, I do this on a mobile setup. And, and, basically, I send everything through the phone. But, I didn't prepare my phone this time, so I was down at 2%. I was like, yeah, I better go ahead.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

Oh, yeah. That's insane.

Bryan GoodwinBryan Goodwin

So my sound quality is probably going to change dramatically,

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

and that's fine. Well, once it gets up through a phonic, it shouldn't be that bad. Yeah. It should level 8 everything out. Right.

Bryan GoodwinBryan Goodwin

So

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

Right?

Bryan GoodwinBryan Goodwin

Ron. So, Ron, what video games you playing?

Duuude-RonDuuude-Ron

It was on 0.

Bryan GoodwinBryan Goodwin

0.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

Well, dude, what's the game like? Tell us, explain it to us, man. I hadn't played the I hadn't played 0 before.

Duuude-RonDuuude-Ron

That means, nada. I am not I am not a gamer. The only the only games that I like are the old the old, arcade games. Yeah. Like,

Bryan GoodwinBryan Goodwin

yeah. The old stand up, con cabinet.

Duuude-RonDuuude-Ron

Yeah. Asteroid, Pac Man Right. Donkey Kong.

Bryan GoodwinBryan Goodwin

Jiras?

Duuude-RonDuuude-Ron

Was that the one that went to all the different is that

Bryan GoodwinBryan Goodwin

one of the goes to all the different planets. Yeah.

Duuude-RonDuuude-Ron

Yeah. I would love to get that console and have that game in my house.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

Dude, check Amazon. You could probably get it. No. I'm sure. I I

Duuude-RonDuuude-Ron

I know. Sure. I do. Like I said, back in junior high, me me and a friend. 50¢. We were on that game for 8 hours and it cost us 50¢. A quarter a piece.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

That's a deal right there.

Duuude-RonDuuude-Ron

Yeah. Yeah. That was a cheap entertainment right there.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

Right.

Duuude-RonDuuude-Ron

Yeah. But as far as gaming, no. Well Don't game.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

Okay. Well, what do you do for fun?

Duuude-RonDuuude-Ron

Sit around and watch cars, Russ.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

Okay.

Duuude-RonDuuude-Ron

Like going playing out with my Jeep when I can afford it. I haven't been shit. I haven't been out wheeling now, and damn. The last time I went out wheeling was October.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

Dude, come on now. That's 6 months. You haven't wheeled in 6 months?

Duuude-RonDuuude-Ron

Nope.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

Man.

Duuude-RonDuuude-Ron

I can't afford to break anything.

Bryan GoodwinBryan Goodwin

I can't afford to break anything.

Duuude-RonDuuude-Ron

Right now.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

Dude, dude, go on the easy trails. Just freaking get out there and just, and just freaking I know I know it would kill you, you know, but still, just go out there and wheel, dude. Find a trail and wheel, man.

Duuude-RonDuuude-Ron

Make it Well, I got well, well, Dave had a group down to Hidden Falls, I think, Saturday. Uh-huh. And he's hit nothing but level fives the whole day.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

Okay. Well, it doesn't doesn't mean you have to go follow them.

Duuude-RonDuuude-Ron

Well, yeah, you're right. But the level 5 trails, those are the ones that are the fun.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

Yeah. But but is isn't the level 5 trails, the easiest one to break your Jeep on?

Duuude-RonDuuude-Ron

Well, yeah, it is. It is.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

Say but but you said you you didn't wanna break your Jeep?

Duuude-RonDuuude-Ron

Yeah. I don't wanna break the jeep right now because I just can't afford to fix it. Right. Right. I So, you know, but the kind but just my current life situation right now is just I don't have very much joy going out and wheeling right now. And once a couple things change my life, then I'm sure that will be, you know, a joyous events. But right now, it's like just, nah. Just got no joy for it. Dude. But, of course, I don't have joy for anything.

Of course, I don't have much joy for anything right now, but Well, that's exactly what I'm saying.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

It's exactly what I'm saying. I know this. So at least getting out and at least doing something. I mean, because part of you still enjoys it. Oh, yeah. You know? So so like I said, go out, do the easy trails and just and just just ride, man. Yeah. Well, a hundred Yeah.

Duuude-RonDuuude-Ron

Oh, I completely understand you.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

Yeah. I know, but you'll sit at home while everybody else goes wheels. Yeah.

Duuude-RonDuuude-Ron

Yeah. I know. That's kinda how it's been. That's alright. I'll get over it.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

I mean, shoot. Why don't you get ahold of Thomas? See if he wants to go. He'd be game.

Duuude-RonDuuude-Ron

Oh, yeah. I know. He would be same way with Patrick.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

Right. Yeah. Just, you know, say, hey. Let's go with it. You know, let's let's just take the easy trails so I don't break my Jeep because I can't afford it. Thomas being a guide. I don't care.

Duuude-RonDuuude-Ron

Yeah.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

Thomas. I know. That's why I love Thomas. I mean, cause the dude, he's just like, well, he's game for just about anything, you know? In, you know, whether it's like, like, like, when, Thomas was with us, see, was it the first event at K River where we went wheeling up that creek behind Adam's house and that and that waterfall step? Remember that? Uh-huh.

Duuude-RonDuuude-Ron

Yeah.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

I think I think you went up it with your lockers. Matt went around, and I was riding with Thomas. I think I think someone else went up. I Patrick. I think Patrick went up and over it. And Thomas wanted to try it, and you was ground guiding, you and your lovely crocs. I was just standing in the water. That was great. I loved it. But, Thomas rolled up and, tried to crawl up, but his, his bumper was even with the rock, with the face of the rock.

Duuude-RonDuuude-Ron

He didn't Oh, yeah. That's right. Uh-huh.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I remember. Yeah. Okay. Yeah. Yeah. He didn't he didn't have enough height to get up. You know, if he had enough height, yeah, he would've probably well, I don't know. Thomas ain't locked, is he?

Duuude-RonDuuude-Ron

No. He's not locked.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

Okay. I didn't think so. But, I mean, yeah, Thomas is game, and that's that's why that's why I love Thomas. You know? You know, if he thinks he can do it, he'll do it. You know?

Duuude-RonDuuude-Ron

Hell, he took his Jeep up, the last time we went out there. This was I rode with Patrick, for the military Jeepers event, and he took his open, barely over 3 modifications and took it up west.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

Really?

Duuude-RonDuuude-Ron

Oh, yeah. West is not not for the faint of heart. I'll put it to you like that. You can tear you can tear some shit up very easily on west and east on those two trails.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

Right.

Duuude-RonDuuude-Ron

Yep. And he got his jeep up west.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

See, that's why I love Tyler. He's just like, nah, I can do it. He just gets it done, man. Yep. I mean, seriously, if if if there's even even a quarter chance he can do it, he can go. That's that that's cool.

Duuude-RonDuuude-Ron

Without lockers?

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

Yes. Exactly. Without lockers.

Bryan GoodwinBryan Goodwin

Yep. Base yeah. Base The only one

Duuude-RonDuuude-Ron

the only one he will not do is, Carnage Canyon. He will not touch Carnage Canyon Okay. Whatsoever. K. But you better have you better better wanna have lockers to go up Orange Canyon.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

Right. I'll get lockers one day.

Duuude-RonDuuude-Ron

It's a You need to look into Ox Lockers.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

I have looked into Ox Lockers, dude. $1200 a pop. Okay.

Duuude-RonDuuude-Ron

How much? God. It's Yeah. Damn. How much was it? 1200

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

a pop. 1200 a pop. Yep. Each half.

Duuude-RonDuuude-Ron

Yep. But the good thing about all soccer is that they're mechanical and not electric.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

I know. I know. Trust me. I look, I, yeah, I look because they've, they've got electric, they've got air. And I looked at all those, but yeah. Yep. But, yeah, they they are not cheap. Mm-mm.

Duuude-RonDuuude-Ron

Well, what is cheap when it comes to modifying a Jeep? Not a damn thing. Right. That's true. Lift, shock, the freaking if you wanna go a long arm, you know, configuration, yeah, the freaking price should just keep going up and up and up and up. Right? We got one guy here. He put a long car long arm kit on his JK and put a 4 inch lift on it. And he didn't do it. He had a shop do it for him for that long arm kit and everything that he got and all the and he got the upper end stuff, which is great.

When was when it was all said and done, 80 Breaking up. It is winter.

Bryan GoodwinBryan Goodwin

Okay. I was gonna say it must be It was 88.

Duuude-RonDuuude-Ron

It was $88100

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

Wow.

Duuude-RonDuuude-Ron

To get his lip put on and and the cost of the lift. But he also did a long arm compression. You know? That ain't cheap.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

Well, no. It's not cheap, but dadgum, dude. I mean $88100

Duuude-RonDuuude-Ron

he spent on that that lift and getting it put in.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

Well, I mean I mean, not all lifts cost that.

Duuude-RonDuuude-Ron

Oh, no. No. No. But he got you know, he had to get the brackets fabricated and get them welded on the right place on the frame and all that other stuff. And it's like, you know, if you have $88100 to do that, knock yourself out. Right. But, of course, he got, he got, what was the name of the components he got? Yeah. I don't remember the name of the components. It's the same components that I have on the front of my Jeep when I bent the, tie rod and the

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

Yeah. You said it, and I can't think of it. Yeah. Freaking drawing a blank. Woods or Adams?

Duuude-RonDuuude-Ron

No. That's the drive shaft.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

Okay. Okay. Okay. Now you had told me I know, and I I I'm freaking drawing a blank.

Duuude-RonDuuude-Ron

Yeah.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

But either way, you know, it's, it's yeah. I don't know. I mean, you know, it's the dude's money. Yeah. He earned it.

Duuude-RonDuuude-Ron

Yeah. And trust me, it, he will not bend or break any of these components. He will bust the hind joints.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

Well, I think I think I I would I would rather bust the hind joints than anything else. Hind joints are cheaper.

Duuude-RonDuuude-Ron

Yeah. Exactly. That's that's the they're they they designed it that the Heim joints will break first. Right. Yep. So but, yeah, they're, yeah, they're the real thick walled tubing, and I won't bend I won't bend my tie rod and my drag link ever again.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

That's cool.

Duuude-RonDuuude-Ron

Yeah. But, of course, those two pieces cost me, just the parts were $1200 for those two pieces.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

Oh, that's I mean, I mean, when you want quadriplext.

Duuude-RonDuuude-Ron

Quadraflex. Quadraflex?

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

Yeah. Quadraflex.

Duuude-RonDuuude-Ron

That was that's the components that the other guy put all the way around his Jeep. Okay. With the upper and lower control arms, with the long arm Right. Kit front and back, 4 inch, 4 and a half inch lift. Yeah. Was all Quadratech.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

Okay. Okay.

Duuude-RonDuuude-Ron

Which is, yeah, the very pretty much the top end line of the parts. But, yeah, it cost him over. It his total bill came out to be $88100 to get it installed and the part. Right.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

Well, that I mean, that was his choice. Yep.

Duuude-RonDuuude-Ron

You know? And I can do just as well with the short arm kit. So I'll just leave the short arm kit on there. That way I don't have to fabricate any brackets. Right. Right.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

Yeah. No. I mean, yeah, some people just go, you know, overboard, but that's what they want. So Yep.

Duuude-RonDuuude-Ron

And then you have then you have the actual rock crawlers that are on 1 ton steerable rear axles.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

Yeah. Those boys those boys got more money and cents. I mean, those those rock crawler crawlers, and Brian can testify because Brian got to riding

Duuude-RonDuuude-Ron

1. Mhmm. Yep.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

And yeah. I mean yeah. Yeah. Those guys will drop $50,000 and that's just a start.

Duuude-RonDuuude-Ron

Oh, that's just a start. You you once you get the whole configuration done and you got the rear steering and you got the 44 inch tires, you got 1 ton rear steering, all that, you're close to a $100,000 for a rig. Oh, yeah. Well, absolutely. Yeah.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

So, Brian, it it it explain about your your ride in that in that, rock crawler.

Bryan GoodwinBryan Goodwin

That was that was wild, man. Just the fact that, I mean, yeah, you get I mean, it's got like a 75 point harness that you you buckle yourself into. You think you take it off to the to the moon just because that thing, you know, it's one, it's got a big freaking engine on it. You didn't you wouldn't think that it would actually be able to get up as high as it does, but it it crawled. The reason they call it a rock crawling. That thing that's rock crawler. It crawls and it's

and it'll push it. Well, I mean, that and it uses, you know, centrifugal force to get itself up. So because I mean, you'll you'll get, it'll it'll push you back in the seat when it takes off.

Duuude-RonDuuude-Ron

It's Oh, yeah.

Bryan GoodwinBryan Goodwin

And Well, it's it's a trip. And I mean, you don't think you're, you know, got up to the top and then or almost to the top, and he there's a little area that he was having to kind of pernagle himself in so he could jump up and over. And, yeah, once he once he hit it just right and he bumped up and over, I mean, you're it you you caught some air on on my ass end. It was a it was a trip. It was Where Exhilarating is a good way to describe it.

Duuude-RonDuuude-Ron

Yep. Where did you get the chance to ride in the rock crawler at? Birds.

Bryan GoodwinBryan Goodwin

Birds? Uh-huh. Yeah. Remember that purple one that had the 4 wheel steering?

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

Hey, Rhonda. 1st year of our event

Duuude-RonDuuude-Ron

at March.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

Uh-huh. Yeah. There there there was, like, 4 rock crawlers

Bryan GoodwinBryan Goodwin

that, came up. And, Yeah. Me and me and Tank both went toodling around in that darn thing. Yep.

Duuude-RonDuuude-Ron

I am vague I vaguely remember them.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

Yeah. No. I'd I didn't get a chance to go ride in 1. I would have loved to, but I didn't get a chance. Yeah. You were you were busier in 1 arm paper. Yeah. That ain't no lie. I was. So but yeah. No. It's one day, I'll I'll, get to riding a rock crawler.

Bryan GoodwinBryan Goodwin

Oh, yeah.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

So

Duuude-RonDuuude-Ron

Well, as soon as you get this Jeep paid off, you can buy my trailer. So at least you have 2 pieces and then the next piece you save up your money, $100,000 and go buy yourself a rock collar.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

Oh, yeah. My Jeep wouldn't pull it, dude.

Duuude-RonDuuude-Ron

No. Your Jeep wouldn't like that at all. No. It wouldn't. At at all.

Bryan GoodwinBryan Goodwin

It would And hook and I hook the trailer up, put the rock crawling on there, and that Jeep would go. Let's walk you. Alright. We're out of here.

Duuude-RonDuuude-Ron

It wouldn't so much be the starting aspect as would it be the stopping aspect.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

Yeah. Because yeah. No.

Duuude-RonDuuude-Ron

That's what the other putting the brakes on and then yeah. They're putting the brakes on and getting the trailer pushing you through the intersection.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

I would need to throw an anchor out just to help slow down. Just get your get your boat anchor out. Right. Right. Mhmm.

Duuude-RonDuuude-Ron

Without a doubt.

Bryan GoodwinBryan Goodwin

So ah, well, let's go ahead and, well, I guess, we'll start wrapping her on up.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

Okay.

Bryan GoodwinBryan Goodwin

And, and and any any key points of insight, knowledge, or or wisdom, dude, you'd like to impart upon, upon the listeners?

Duuude-RonDuuude-Ron

Yeah. Do not step on Superman's cape and don't piss into the wind.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

Nice. I like that.

Bryan GoodwinBryan Goodwin

Don't pull the mask on a old lone ranger, and don't mess around with Slim.

Duuude-RonDuuude-Ron

That's right. That's right. Excellent problem.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

That was awesome. I liked it.

Duuude-RonDuuude-Ron

Yeah. But my wisdom for the day is don't step on Superman's cape and don't piss in the wind.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

Yeah. That's just never a good thing.

Bryan GoodwinBryan Goodwin

Yeah. No. Especially if you try to pee off of a cliff and the wind blows back up, that that always winds up having a bigger mess. So Gotcha. Anyhow, so, Rich, how about you? What's what big merge of wisdom do you got for for the listeners?

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

Well, since you put me on the spot, drink more coffee.

Bryan GoodwinBryan Goodwin

Drink more coffee. That was lesson learned. Don't have too many conversations before you've had you need to have the proper balance. One conversation for 1 cup of coffee. Oh, no. No. No. No. You need a pot of coffee.

Duuude-RonDuuude-Ron

No. Per conversation. Before the first time before the first conversation.

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

Thank you. Before the first conversation. Okay. Okay. Yes. Yeah. Pot before the converse after that, you can talk all day long. I don't care.

Bryan GoodwinBryan Goodwin

But

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

drink more coffee.

Bryan GoodwinBryan Goodwin

Drink more coffee. Amen. Drink it. Yeah. Absolutely. Alright. And then mine mine's actually going to be if you're still if you're a veteran and you'd like to have some folks who you can hang around with, you could talk to, hit me up. Circlecast. That's circlecast, all one word, cast, all one word@gmail.com. Just in the subject line, say better put in veterans call or something to that effect, and let let me know that you'd be interested in, joining in the vet call.

I'll I'll add you to the, to the to the list, and, you can join up. We have a call every, every Wednesday at, at 8 o'clock. It goes from 8:10. And, we just kinda talked about whatever it is that everybody has, has come to mind. Kinda like how this, how this, conversation goes. So if you would like to be interested in having being able to talk to us 3 plus, some other, vets that come on from time to time, Love to have you on there. And, also, guys, remember, all of y'all.

It may seem tough, maybe just in the deep thick of shit, but permanent solutions to temporary problems is never the answer. Seek help. Talk and call up somebody. You can get a hold of the, the dial 988. And then with the, at the, at the prompt, hit 1. We can get a you can talk to a veteran himself, and they will they'll be able to, to talk to you, help you out in whatever form of crisis you end up having. Good, man. We've got

Rich ChelsonRich Chelson

way too many having a bad day.

Bryan GoodwinBryan Goodwin

Even if you're just having a crappy day. Exactly. I mean, we're all of us all of us vets are are out to help other vets. That's right. And so just just just come along and and ask don't even actually have to ask for help. Just call and say, hey. I just need to talk. You're always gonna find a veteran going, sure, man. What do you wanna talk about? I'm gonna talk about whatever it is we want you wanna talk about. So, man,

the veteran call is a great way to do that. We've had several guys who have answered in and have been in a a state of crisis or another. And so we don't it there's no judgment on any any of that.
